Bridgerton series 3 spoilers below the cut!

So I’ve just finished binge watching Bridgerton and can we please talk about what Colin tells Penelope at the end of episode 4?

“I have spent so long trying to feel less, trying to be the kind of man society expects me to be and for a moment, I thought I had succeeded. But these past few weeks have been full of confounding feelings. Feelings like a total inability to stop thinking about you. About that kiss. Feelings like dreaming of you when I’m asleep and in fact preferring sleep because that is where I might find you. A feeling that is like torture, but one which I cannot, will not, do not want to give up.”

I mean, saying that he prefers sleeping to being awake because he wants to dream of Pen? Damn Colin, when did you get so smooth? So happy they finally got together though, because if the episode ended right then and there and I had to wait until the 13th of June to see Penelope’s reaction, I would’ve rioted.

The trailer for the second part of the series looks interesting - a hunt for Lady Whistledown to get £5,000? Eloise threatening to out Pen to Colin? Seems like we’ve got lots of drama to look forward to in a few weeks and I can’t wait for it.

The only sex scenes I want of Benedict after season 3. Are of him and Sophie. The amount of scenes we got of his sexual encounters in season 3 was a bit much. This coming from someone who loves Benedict. Why that was just a driving point in that season. Is beyond me when it should have been all about Colin and Pen.

The boys sexual desires weren’t uncommon in the book. All of them were doing it before finding their match. Yet Benedict’s moments were focused on more than any other Bridgerton! Bi or not it got old.

Anyone else absolutely despise Penelope’s wedding dress and hair? I can’t be the only one. It was so plain and meh. The outfits in this season haven’t been hitting like previous seasons

Penelope not being the jealous type is so funny to me for some reason. She spent so long thinking that Colin would never love her back, and then he chased down her carriage screaming “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!,” and from then on, she’s never once jealous about him with other women in the past. She’s like, “… Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m it for this guy, idk what to tell you.”
