You’re currently sitting on the small couch in Dom, your friend’s, living room. Some random guy that was at the street race earlier sits down right next to you, passing you a beer and then taking a sip out of his own. “Crazy, Torreto can’t even show up to his own party, right?” The guy jokes. You don’t find him all that funny, but you let out a fake laugh, turning slightly to admire his attractiveness. He has fluffy brunette hair with the nicest green eyes you’ve seen, paired with a baggy shirt and pants combo. “So, you got a boyfriend?” He abruptly asks you, earning a small smile from you as you shake your head. “Not much of a talker, huh? What about dancing?” He laughs, standing up and offering you his hand, wanting you to dance with him.

You contemplate the offer. You have a small thing for Brian, this new rookie racer that’s becoming friends with your friends. You met him at a street race a bit ago, he’s been on your mind ever since. Unfortunately, thinking nothing’s going to go farther than your school-girl crush, you take the guy’s hand.

“What’s your name?” You ask him as the two of you dance to the music, surrounded by other couple’s grinding up against each other.

“Tyler.” He pauses. “And what about you?”

“(Y/N).”

“Pretty name.” He grins.

The two of you are now inches apart, his hands on your waist, guiding your hips to the song. You’re so hypnotized by him that you don’t even notice Brian and Dom walking into the house at that exact moment, the blonde one watching you dance with some random guy.

“You like her?” Dom laughs, noticing the jealousy on Brian’s face as he continues to watch you from the front door, not knowing how to respond.

“What? Man, no.” He denies.

“Sure, alright.” Dom shakes his head, passing Brian a beer, the man taking it and starting to drink from it. “You should say something to her.” He continues before walking away with Letty, leaving Brian alone.

“Right.” He says to himself.

After a few minutes you notice Brian, glancing at him when you look over Tyler’s shoulder, noticing him staring the two of you down. You nod your head in his direction, acknowledging his presence as he drinks his beer in the corner of the room, some girl coming up to him a moment later. “Hey, baby, what’s your name?” The girl flirts with him, sitting on his lap and smirking. This time, it’s your turn to be jealous, glaring at the girl. You shouldn’t be getting jealous, considering you’re dancing with some guy, who you’re no longer focused on, but something about seeing Brian with that girl makes you stop dancing, leaving Tyler confused. “What’s up?” He raises an eyebrow, confused on why you stopped. “Sorry, you’re super hot, but I can’t.” You shake your head, walking away and making your way towards the blonde haired guy.

“Excuse me?” The girl that’s sitting on his lap and flirting with him questions, her tone harsh. “Wanna dance?” You ignore her and straight up ask Brian, earning a smile from him as he gently moves the girl off his lap and stands up, happily accepting your offer. “Hell yeah.” He takes your hand.

Brian moaned as he pulled out of his girlfriend, causing her back to arch and feet to twitch against the dashboard. Their position wasn’t comfortable at all. He was between her spread-out legs, his knees were to the car floor as she laid on the passenger seat that was pulled down.

It was luck that they hadn’t been caught by a security guard at the back of a Walmart parking lot.

His shirt was off, and Jean-shorts by his knees along with his boxers. It was a shock her dress shirt still clung to her body, given how much they both were panting.

“We need another condom,” Carson breathed out, dazed as her eyes fluttered open.

“I don’t have another one,” Brian managed to say, searching his pockets.

“Fuck.”

He turned back to her with a sheepish look, “Maybe we could just risk it.”

“Fuck no,” she tiredly pushed against his chest. “Boy, we’re not doing that.”

“I’m clean I swear,” he exclaimed, as if to convince her.

“We need protection.” Carson wouldn’t risk it. “You’re not gonna accidentally knock me up.”

“I’ll pull out,” he weakly tried, leaning closer to her.

“You won’t.”

“How are you so sure huh?” He asked cheekily.

“Because you’ve been moanin’ about how good I feel.” She taunted, running her nails down his chest, “You love it too much to pull out.”

“I do,” Brian admitted, licking his lips. “I do.”

“Then no more sex,” She said, worn out, “but you can give me head.”

“Oh I can, can I?” He teased.

“Yeah,” she bit down on her lip as he started kissing down her stomach before finding solace between her legs again. “Fuck.”

Strap in, Fast Family!

I guess this is my post where I can say that Mia Toretto was a character the younger me looked up to (literally) as I watched the first movie in 2001. I thought she was so pretty and so cool. I watched that movie and Step Up so many times on my clunky portable DVD player. Like, I’d hide under tables at family events to watch them a million times over.

I have come to like Letty, but she wasn’t as present in that first one.

Anyway, Mia has been a part of the family from the beginning — before Brian even entered the picture. Brian existing in the Fast and Furious off-camera doesn’t change that. If anything, it means the movies can utilize her more independently, like Fast 9 (I think? I haven’t gotten to that one yet in my rewatch yet) does when Brian is home with their kids until that last family dinner, leaving Mia to do all the fun, action things for 2 hours and however many minutes.

I saw Brie Larson on the Fast X carpet talking about how she’d love to see and be a part of a Fast and Furious female-led ensemble. I think exploring more of Mia’s assets in one or all parts of this final trilogy (because Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez revealed TWO more movies are coming on that same carpet!!) would be the perfect way to spike more interest in her character.

After all, action movies often leave the female characters on the domestic sidelines while the male characters race off into the action, and I like that the Fast and Furious series has an opportunity to gender-swap that. Plus, I like to think that Brian has come around to enjoying the white picket fence life that kind of bogged him down in Fast 7.

Wow, I didn’t realize I have so many thoughts about the Fast and Furious franchise. But, I guess it’s a cornerstone of pop culture for a reason.

You met Brian at one of Dom’s house parties after a street race. He noticed you at the race and made it his mission to talk to you at the party, which obviously, was successful.

However, it definitely wasn’t easy. You’re childhood friends with Dom, Letty, and Mia. They needed to know Brian was trustworthy before letting him make moves on you. However, he did end up gaining their trust, becoming part of the ‘family.’

Ever since, the two of you have been together, like ‘partners in crime.’

He’s a super protective boyfriend and gets really jealous sometimes. Someone threatens to hurt you on one of the group missions? He’s immediately determined to do anything and everything to keep you safe. Some creepy guy is eyeing you down? Hell no, he won’t let that slide.

He always loves spoiling you. He only wants the best for you, so, if you see a cute dress at the mall or something you want? He’s using the money he wins from his latest street race to buy it for you.

The two of you, obviously, love going on late night drives. He definitely drives a lot safer and relaxed when you’re in the car, though.

Brian is literally so in love with you, like that man is whipped as hell.

He insists on driving you everywhere as well. He knows you’re fully capable of driving just as good as him, maybe even better, but he is always ready to take you to the store or to whatever location you need to be at for the missions, just wherever your next adventure is.

He also insists on watching you try on clothes at the mall, he loves when you ask for his opinion on your new outfits.

Brian is literally just the best boyfriend out there.

“Sonny, baby,” Brain got Carson’s attention, drawing her eyes away from the cartoons that entertained her. “What’s this?” She turned to her phone which was in his hands, he’d been using it to change his name in her contacts when someone texted her: Johnny Tran. “Seriously?”

“I can’t even see what you’re showing me?” She tiredly sat up on the couch.

He practically shoved the phone into her hand, “Here.”

“The hell?” Brian exclaimed, setting his feet on the floor.

She glanced up in disbelief, “Why are you mad at me?”

“I wanna know why he’s textin’ you, why you even have his number saved?” He didn’t get why she wasn’t more understanding.

“He texts me stupid shit like that all the time. Usually happens when he’s drunk, it don’t mean nothin’” She turned off her phone.

“Why don’t you delete his number? Or tell to back off, unless you want him to text you?” He pressed, taking her phone back.

“You’re soundin’ really jealous right now,” she realised, turning to him and lowering the volume of the TV.

Brian scoffed, “No I’m mad.”

“What do you want me to do?” She questioned, frowning slightly.

“I’m not gonna tell you to do anythin’, I don’t wanna be one of those controllin’ guys but this ain’t right to me.”

“I’ll delete his number if you want,” she suggested, eyeing him as he got more pissed off. “Give me the phone — Brian.” She emphasised his name when he just turned back to the message on her phone he picked up, eyes manically reading over it. She rose onto her knees and snatched it off him, startled that his grip had been so strong. “There,” she deleted the contact from the phone. She showed it to him, letting his darkened gaze see before she tossed her phone round the side. “Happy now?”

He scoffed, “Don’t act like I shouldn’t be pissed about this.”

“I just fixed the issue,” Carson stated, huffing when he didn’t drop it.

“You should’ve deleted his contact ages ago.”

“But I didn’t. And now I have. Because I’m with you,” she wrung out her hands. Frustrated she turned back to the television, curling into herself when his arms were still digging into his legs. “I’m sorry?” She didn’t know if she should apologise or not but he didn’t seem to be receptive to anything.

Brian just stayed quiet took the remote and turned up the sound.
