okay so the Madame started out as a fan exceptional story concept, which ive talked a bit about here and here . The story revolves around a toxic garden show that contains plants that are harming the bees, and The Madame is centered around wanting to protect and rescue the bees, regardless of the expense of the plants and the people running the garden. It would dive into the matters of pollination and strange neathy plants, as well as how bees function within the neath. It would also be an introduction to the Madame's honey shop.

I've also been brewing another concept in my head, with The Madame's sister [who i havent got a title for yet, i will soon lmao]. A big event is being held at her tea parlour, but a mixup has occured for some reason or another causing a batch of poisoned honey to be mixed in with the regular honey set for the event. the player has to attend, mingle through the guests, and comb through all the different batches of sweets and tea sweetener, to find where the poisoned honey ended up - before the wrong person gets poisoned [the plot twist is that this was all intentional and there is some sort of target at the party that someone was aiming for. a lot goes down in tea parlours, they were a prime area of socializing in the time period, especially for women]

fruits in tea theorizing part 2: I think maybe it's the peels of the fruit seeping into the tea that gives it this slightly nasty taste... I think maybe there's some type of bitterness contained in the peel that is getting released into the tea. tomorrow I'm going to try the jasmine again but this time only throw in pieces without skin. nodding my head

HOW TO BREW THE PERFECT CUP OF TEA - Making the perfect cup of tea is an exact science. Depending on the type of tea you prefer, you might need to keep the tea bag in water for a few extra minutes.   Yeah, there’s a pretty famous wall to be seen here, but oh the tea!   Bring your climbing shoes, it’s all steps!   First off let me share with you that I do not like coffee.  I do not like the taste of it. I do not like the smell of it after it’s brewed.  I do not like the consistency of it.  I do not like how people are addicted to it and use it as an excuse to be rude or inattentive. But…

There is easy low hanging fruit here, especially about the US and salty tea. And I'm so SO tempted.

But also I'm super in to tea and I'm bored.

The perfect cup of tea is how you want to drink it, and if you do not LIKE tea then drinking it a different way, or a different kind of tea, vastly changes it.

A pinch of salt makes things less bitter, this trick also works with coffee. But other things that affect taste are tempriture, length of time it brews, where the tea was grown, the climate, the soil, and how big the leaves are. Some of the cheapest tea has little more than dust in the tea bag while more expensive teas you will notice have more structure to the leaves.

Tea brewed in colder tempeitures needs longer and creates a different taste. It may require more tea to get the specific flavour you want, and generally it is less bitter for it. Similar thing to spices where if you cook them, use them hot, toast them first, etc, you get a different set of flavours to using them cold.

Like wine, tea can have lots of flavour profiles and colours. Assam for example is very dark, malty, and strong, it can get quite bitter. Ceylon is much lighter. Darjeeling is good with lemon, but Assam is better with milk, in my humble opinion. Lapsang Sushong is very smokey. Earl Grey

Most people will drink a mix. English breakfast is usually a mix of Assam, Ceylon, and Kenyan. Earl Grey is flavoured with bergamot.

White, green, and black tea all come from the same plant, just different parts of it, treated differently. Black tea can take a higher tempriture, but boiling water on green and white tea will scorch the leaves and make it very bitter. Agitating the tea can also have this effect as it releases more tannin.

As a general rule there is a tea for everyone, and a way to drink it that you will enjoy, whether that's hot, cold, mixing it with spices, flavourings, fruit, milk, sugar, lemon, and yes, even a pinch of salt.

I would not, however, recommend tea that has been in the Boston harbour.

However, my favorite part of these traditions has to the be Words of Affirmations choice and journaling. I love having my sims indulge into some needed selfcare and couldn't hesitate not to add these features!

Everything Included

Bathe: Great for hygiene and starting the day fresh. It adds a realistic touch to your Sims morning rituals. All Types of bathing from traditional to using the petals, soaps etc.

Brush Teeth: Dental hygiene is crucial! It's good that you've included this routine to ensure your Sims maintain healthy teeth. You can complete this buy brushing your sims teeth by clicking on the sink.

Coffee and Tea: A perfect way to kickstart the morning or wind down in the evening. It adds a touch of realism and comfort to your Sims' lives. Brew and drink coffee or tea to complete this.

Journaling: A wonderful addition for Sims to reflect on their day or express their thoughts. It's a great way to incorporate self-care and mindfulness. Make sure to use the sims private journal to complete this.

Apply Makeup: For Sims who enjoy enhancing their appearance, this routine adds a touch of personal grooming. You can only do this at the vanity!

Remove Makeup: A thoughtful inclusion for Sims who prefer to go makeup-free or need to prepare for bedtime. You can only do this at the vanity!

Pack Lunch: Ideal for Sims with a busy day ahead. It's a practical addition for those who want to bring their own meals to work or school. Make sure you pack a sack lunch to complete this.

Shave: A grooming routine for Sims who prefer to keep a clean-shaven look. It adds realism to their daily preparations. This includes all body shaving areas, not just your face!

Shower: An essential part of maintaining hygiene. This routine ensures your Sims stay clean and refreshed. Just do your usual showering!

Skincare: A great way to incorporate self-care into your Sims' daily lives. It's perfect for those who prioritize skincare. I love this one, make sure you use a face mask or the cleanser to complete this.

Words of Affirmation: A fantastic addition for promoting positive mental health. It adds a meaningful and uplifting touch to your Sims' routines. Psyche self-up in a standing mirror to complete this. You do not do this one at the vanity.
