I love the fact that back in *godknowswhen* there was this theory going around Twitter that whenever Fall Out Boy realease new music a band breaks up, and now after a few years of silence there’s a new album coming out and Brendon Urie decided to quit making music

its 2018. fall out boy released mania, Brendon urie released pray for the wicked, and twenty one pilots released trench. supernatural is on season 14 without any signs of destiel. Voltron season 8 just came out and decimated both klance and its fanbase. the third trials of Apollo came out and made everybody miserable. dan and Phil are on tour, and the final Phil is not on fire came out. Tumblr is never going to be the same.

i can't get over how early 2010s skwistok fanfiction depicted skwisgaar as an abuser and toki as a helpless victim when skwisgaar is literally the least violent member of the band and toki canonically killed a man and has horrible anger problems

Man, it disgusts me that to this day: new punkrock/poppunk artists are still getting bottled. Like when I saw videos of that one person throwing a piss bottle at TX2 (and they missed thankfully) made me feel disgust inside that there’s still people like that in today’s punk community. Another one that stands out to me is Panic! at 2006 Reading festival since Brendon actually got knocked out and hurt (and despite this people threw bottles at them again the following year). Speaking of Reading 2006, you know who else got bottled? MCR. Thankfully, no one got hit, but still, what the hell. Like what the heck is wrong with people. If you don’t like a band, then don’t buy tickets to see them. Especially if your intention is to hurt them.

We need to bring concept albums back

Like where the whole idea behind the album is for the art. All the band mates dress up in outfits that match the aesthetic of that particular album. Where all the music videos are cohesive. We need each individual song to be a dire piece to the overall story of the album. We need well thought out music again. I’m talking pretty odd and a afycso level. The black parade and three cheers type shit. DANGER DAYS Like cmon !! We are missing OUT people.
