So I know I said it would be a week or so until the next one 😅 but I've been doing quite a lot of experimenting with different designs, and I liked this one 😁 I know this isn't much compared to some of the others, but it's just super fun to try new things out! ☺️ I will remake it sometime down the line, but for now, here is a Litograph using the lyrics from Thomas' song 'Birds' from Ultimate Storytime which is one of my go to songs on rough days ☺️ I've always wondered which side the song might be compatible with 🤔😃 If you read from the very top of the tallest bird, it should become clear which way the lyrics are going, sorry if it gets confusing- this is just an experiment ☺️🌟

Is the fanfic "Batter Up, Buttercup" going to be continued?

Yes!!!! The last few weeks have even very busy and I've apparently written over 10k words of meta since the end of December for this show sjdkgmskmsmgms so my fanfic writing has taken a bit of a back seat! I am working on chapter 3 and excited to share with everyone ☺

Here's a bit of an unedited preview (subject to change of course):

Chapter 3 – Save the Last Chance

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Buttercup standing in front of the boulangerie, regarding the logo Marinette thoughtfully designed with an ugly sneer on his faceless maw.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Buttercup resting a stupid, clammy hand inappropriately low on his lady’s back wearing a fake gentlemen’s smile that reeks of insincerity.  

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Marinette, sweet wonderful precious Marinette, breataking with a smile that could release any akuma and excited to show Buttercup her home, ignorant of the disdain in his eyes as this fiend plots the best ways to rip apart her family's business into tiny shreds.

Thud thud thud.

Stupid ugly smelly asshole Buttercup bending down as his lady leans up, her perfect pretty pink lips pursed ready to meet--

THUD THUD THUD.

"Think you made a dent with that one."

Adrien groans, resting his heated head on the surface of his cool locker. This isn’t the first time he’s wished Plagg would be a little less nosy and sarcastic as he is, but it is the first time he finds himself wishing his kwami would be just a little less present. Especially right now as the remains of his shattered heart lie on the floor and he wrestles with his conviction to step aside and support his lady.

Plagg uses one of his many masterful skills to ignore Adrien’s glare and hovers in front of the spot his hold has been acquainting himself with for the past who knows how long. Adrien watches his kwami with a scowl on his face as Plagg delightedly announces, "Oooooh yeah, that's a big mark! I'm impressed with your vandalism skills, kid."

A hot lick of fear races up Adrien’s spine as he rushes to check, the fear of getting in trouble and being sent to The Principal’s Office (in all of Adrien’s musing on school life and extensive manga reading, this was the one place he was fine with never stepping foot in) momentarily shoving aside all thoughts of stomping on stupid yellow flowers.

The locker’s surface is as smooth as anything that’s been handed down from one generation of rowdy teenagers to the next, which is to say it’s fine and not dented at all and Plagg you little shit.

Frozen II’s Show Yourself is the answer to Let it Go...

When she’s singing show yourself, there’s a part where she sings “Here I am,” which sounds like a part of Let It Go. This is an omage to the original, iconic sound that took the world by storm. Then as if Elsa acknowledges this bittersweet moment she sings, “I’ve come so far. You are the answer I’ve waited for all my life.” I think this is the moment she realizes she’s more enough. She’s finally learning that by accepting herself with unconditional love, she’s truly free and I think that’s such a breataking and powerful moment.

I don’t even know how to respond this is so wonderful and thank you so much! I’ve wanted to become a writer for as long as I can remember, and my grandma has all the horrible rough drafts from my childhood to prove it.

Seriously, this has always been it for me. I’m currently in the process of trying to get short stories that I’ve written published, along with writing what will hopefully turn out to be a full length novel, and somedays its hard to see a future where I get published. However, writing is the one thing that I spend all my time doing, so to hear that there’s someone out there who likes my work that much is breathtaking.
