MCU, meets The BOYz.
There is chaos in the streets. People running and screaming, looking for any way to escape whatever is happening. The sky crackles like glass, and splits in dozens of deep swirling crevasses. Whether this was fate acting in the two girl's favor, or actively trying to trap them, was unclear. But they continued to run. A small blonde girl with short blonde hair, and bright blue eyes, and leaning onto her shoulder, a taller, thinner girl with thick black hair and steel blue eyes.
The two had come so far in the last few months of their short turbulent life. Escaping one evil only to run into more and more. The world in chaos as Steven Strange battled some dark force and in doing so, manage to twist the fibers of reality into knots.
The girls kept moving, though a trail of crimson was left behind them. The older girl with raven hair was barely conscious at this point. Gripping the pistol in one hand, and a gushing wound in the other.
The two couldn't afford to stop, not even to breath. Practically tumbling into an alley just as another tremor rolled past them. It was so loud both of the girls had to cover their ears.
"We have to keep going! C'mon Winter, get up!" The younger blonde cried, as she tried to put her friend's arm around her neck.
"Brayla, just go without me. I'll just slow you down." Winter croaked tiredly. She could feel the weakness in her limbs. She was slowly bleeding out.
In her mind it would be a worth while sacrifice. After all the horrible things Hydra forced her to do all her life, saving her best friend didn't seem like a bad thing to die for. She had always been the one to look out for her. She was smaller, more frail than Winter was. It was her responsibility to take care of her. But that was exactly how they got into this mess.
If you weren't strong in Hydra, they threw you away like trash. And they had planned to be rid of Brayla. She wasn't what they wanted in a super soldier. Her abilities hadn't manifested like they had hoped, not like Winter's had. She carried more of her father than they had expected, but that was also a bad thing for them. Because it meant she had her father's loyalty. And when Hydra threatened to 'terminate' Bray, Winter snapped.
And now they were on the run. Desperate for shelter, and a place to think of a plan. And Brayla was making it very clear she did NOT plan on leaving Winter behind.
She braced herself against the concrete wall behind her friend, and groaned as she lifted Winter back up onto her feet. Starting to walk again, only to notice,.... the city looked different. It WAS different.
"Winter,.... where are we?"

An incomplete list of Trans and gender nonconforming people murdered for existing in the 2020s
Here is the complete list of Trans people murdered in 2023, compiled by Transrespect versus Transphobia Worldwide (TvT).
2020 – Özge Bilir, aged 25, was a Dutch trans woman of Turkish descent living in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht. She was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend.
2020 – Alexa Luciano Ruiz was fatally shot in Puerto Rico on 24 February, after an incident in a local restroom. Ms. Luciano was killed while the assailant men laughed.
2020 – Michelle Michellyn Ramos Vargas, a 33-year-old trans woman, was found dead on an isolated road after being shot multiple times on 30 September in San Germán, Puerto Rico. She worked as a bartender and was studying to become a nurse.
2020 – Selena Reyes-Hernandez, 37, was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois, on 31 May by a man she went home with, after telling him that she was transgender.
2020 – Brayla Stone, 17, was murdered in Arkansas in June 2020 by a man seeking to conceal his sexual relationship with her. The killer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
2020 – Valera, a 46-year-old man, a janitor, was raped and killed on 10 February in Chelyabinsk, Russia, by his dorm roommates after they learned he was a transgender man.
2021 – Ebeng Mayor, a trans man from Batasan Hills, Philippines, was found raped, mutilated, and killed on 20 May 2021, after being missing for three days.
2022 – Briza Garces Florez, a 40-year-old Colombian trans sex worker from the Netherlands, was stabbed to death by her 32-year-old boyfriend.
2022 – Doski Azad, a 23-year-old Kurdish transgender woman, was murdered by her brother for being transgender.
2022 – Ariyanna Mitchell, a 17-year-old Black trans girl from Virginia, was shot and killed by 19-year-old Jimmy LeShawn Williams with an assault rifle, after he asked her if she was transgender, and she replied, "yes".
2022 - Cherry Bush, a homeless 48-year-old trans woman, was shot to death in Los Angeles.
2023 - Brianna Ghey was stabbed to death in Culcheth Linear Park on 11 February 2023.
2024 - Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old non-binary American student died one day after being assaulted in the girls' restroom.
(This is Nex)
Their friends and mother say that they experienced bullying for more than a year, because of their gender identity, before the assault. The bullying got progressively worse after a bill was passed in Oklahoma to prohibit the use of non-binary gender markers on birth certificates. Public school students are legally required to use restrooms only according to the gender on their birth certificate.
Nex was assaulted in the restroom by three girls and beaten unconscious. Sue Benedict, Nex's mother, was called to school and she found Nex with bruises on their face and scratches on the back of their head. She was informed that they had been suspended for two weeks. Sue took them to a nearby hospital and called the Oklahoma police department.
Nex told the officer how they had heard the girls making comments about their group and how they had poured water on the girls which then led to the altercation. They then said that had been attacked and had blacked out on the floor. The officer told Sue that this could be considered "mutual" and if they were to press charges, Nex would be open to those same charges. She declined at the time. Nex were later discharged and reportedly went to bed with a sore head.
(Nex with their cat)
The following day, on February 8, as they were preparing to travel with their mother for an appointment, Nex collapsed in the family's living room. Sue Benedict called 911, saying that Nex’s eyes had rolled back and they were struggling to breathe. Nex had stopped breathing by the time EMTs arrived. Nex was declared dead at the hospital that evening.
This is, by no means, a complete list. It does not even include a fraction of the murders of gender queer people in the 2020s, let alone the suicides, rapes, assaults, attempted murders, etc. It does not include the crimes against the rest of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Thank you for reading the whole thing.

GIRLS YOU CAN HIT (original .pdf)
WHY DO FASCISTS WANT TO KILL TRANS WOMEN?
In a nine-day period between June 25 and July 3, six Black trans women - Brayla Stone, Merci Mack, Shaki Peters, Draya McCarty, and Tatiana Hall - were found murdered. The news barely made a ripple; Black trans women and trans women of color are murdered regularly - and no one is shocked, because the gender class structure is operating as usual. Liberal-individualist analysis claims that this is simply the result of amorphous personal "prejudices" -- that individual men, fearful of the unknown or afraid of change, attack trans women for personal reasons.
This is both idealist and ahistorical, a comforting fantasy that naturalizes and atomizes the oppression of trans women as a class and protects the underlying gender class structure of the empire.
In fact, reactionaries make trans women a primary target. ICE imprisons trans women in special separate concentration camps under under even worse conditions than cisgender men and women, and during protests, police subject captured trans women for especially brutal treatment. On July 25, a group of pro-police protesters outside Pittsburgh switched their chant from “all lives matter" to "kill transgenders" and "kill faggots." State power and reactionary elements target trans women specifically - but why? Because the oppression of trans women as a class is critical to the gender class structure of the empire, and by centering the oppression of trans women in our material feminist analysis, we can understand that class structure much more clearly.
WHAT IS THE GENDER CLASS STRUCTURE OF THE EMPIRE?
Fundamentally, the gender class structure is built on the domination of white men over women; white women constitute a subordinated but privileged class under the control ("protection") of white men, and reactionary white manhood is ultimately defined in terms of control of women.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF TRANS WOMEN (AND NONBINARY TRANSFEMININE PEOPLE, WHO ARE TREATED LIKE TRANS WOMEN) IN THIS GENDER CLASS STRUCTURE?
Trans women, nonbinary transfeminine people, and feminine gay cisgender men are treated as a gender underclass. Structurally, they are "girls you can hit." They are also subject to substantial sexual violence in the form of sexual assault and rape. Cisgender women from oppressed and colonized nations are treated more like "girls you can hit" if they are less acceptable as potential members of the "protected" class of potential wives and mothers.
Thus, Black and Indigenous women are treated disposably as "girls you can hit." Likewise, sex workers, who are seen as disqualified from the "protected" class of women, are "girls you can hit." The further they are from the "protected" class of women, the more disposable they are, and they are treated more and more like trans women. This develops intersectionally as well; Black trans women are often accused of sex work to justify violent treatment, and Black trans women sex workers are murdered casually.
WHY DO CISGENDER MEN OPPRESS TRANS WOMEN? IN OTHER WORDS, HOW DO CISGENDER MEN BENEFIT MATERIALLY FROM OPPRESSING TRANS WOMEN?
This dynamic arises in childhood, where they are an acceptable target for violence and covert sex ("practice girls") by boys trying to enact their manhood. Men can gain status and an identity as controllers of women by hurting “girls you can hit." They "protect" (white, cis) women in the same way that the police "protect" communities: by enacting violence on the underclass, they gain control over the "respectable" class of women.
The threat to the women they control is supposed to be implicit, not enacted: "Serve me faithfully and you will never be hurt the way | hurt those sissies in middle school." But the opposite side of the coin is that any "protected" woman who refuses to comply in a serious and sustained way can be threatened with degradation to the underclass.
WHY DO CISGENDER WOMEN OPPRESS TRANS WOMEN? IN OTHER WORDS, HOW DO CISGENDER WOMEN BENEFIT MATERIALLY FROM OPPRESSING TRANS WOMEN?
They get to not be treated like trans women, sex workers, and other "girls you can hit." Their respectable status is contingent on having an underclass they are not part of.
HOW DOES THE OPPRESSION OF TRANS MEN (AND NONBINARY TRANSMASCULINE PEOPLE, WHO ARE TREATED LIKE TRANS MEN) FIT INTO THIS GENDER CLASS STRUCTURE?
The greatest threat to a trans woman's life is being treated like a trans woman. For trans men and nonbinary transmasculine people, the greatest threat to their lives is being treated like a cis woman. We can see this play out in fascist fantasies of "correcting’ trans men to become cis women, and in the way that transmisogynists like JK Rowling claim that "trans activists [code for trans women] are seducing your daughters into mutilating their healthy, fertile female bodies in an impossible attempt to become men." In fascist and reactionary rhetoric, trans men are framed as deluded, innocent cis women who have to be saved from a horrible error. In the material world, this agenda often plays out in the form of corrective rape and other atrocities.
Trans men from colonized communities are treated much more violently, as in the case of the murdered Tony McDade; there is no prospect of forcing them to be "protected" women, so they are treated disposablly, like trans women.
HOW DOES TRANS WOMEN’S LIBERATION THREATEN THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE EMPIRE? IN OTHER WORDS, WHY DO REACTIONARIES WANT TO WIPE OUT TRANS WOMEN?
The reactionaries are not mistaken to see the liberation of trans women (and sex workers) as linked to the liberation of cis women from colonized communities, nor is their targeting of trans women a mistake.
The liberation of trans women and "girls you can hit" in general would invert the gendered class structure of the empire and strike a critical blow to the control of "protected" women that reactionary men depend on for both social reproduction, personal exercise of power, and identity formation.
WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR US?
We must center the liberation of trans women, sex workers, and other “girls you can hit." This will immediately help to liberate cis women from colonized nations, remove the hierarchical power of "protected" white cis women over other women, degrade the power of white cisgender men over oppressed genders, and remove the basis for treating trans men and transmasculine people as deluded cis women.

As a trans person. Why is my whole life political. Why is me wanting to do sports political? Why is me wanting to be an actor or an anything large or important political? What makes me so evil and scary? What about the girl who sits on her ass most days and nights is threatening “real women” nothing. I’m not evil. I’m not a threat. I’m not a ploy to make your kids trans. I’m not a marketing tool that movies use to make money. I’m a person. I am a human with feelings. I’m not a threat, I’m threatened. Threatened by the same people screaming that I’m scaring or harassing them. Sometimes even harassed by those of our own community. All while I watch my brothers and sisters killed in the street.
Brianna ghey.
Alexa Ruiz.
Selena Reyes-Hernandez
Brayla Stone
Serena valázquez and Layla pelaez
Briza Florez
Cherry bush
Pauly likens, only fourteen.
And many, many, many more
We are not political pawns. Or people of violence. We are humans killed and harassed for being ourselves.

Birthday- Bruno x Fem! reader
In honor of my 18th birthday coming up on the 18th I decided to make this. I’m going to make Bruno 20 in this because that’s my guess around how old he is.
Also using my name in this fyi
Also Brayla as a ship name???
Taglist: @hyunjinbiased-blog
I awoke to the sunshine in my face as I slowly opened them rolling over to avoid going blind.
I sit up and let myself wake up for a bit before I remembered what the date was: it was my 18th birthday. I honestly lost track of the date since the apocalypse started.
I quickly got up and went into the bathroom and brush my teeth before going to pick out some clothes.
It was a bit too warm so I decided on a very cute dress that went down to my knees and it had flowers on it. I brush my hair and do one last through check through before I leave the room.
As I go to turn around I feel hands wrap around my waist.
“Happy birthday Mi amor” Bruno said as he kissed the top of my head
“Thank you baby” I said as I turn around and give him a quick kiss .
I grab his hand and lead him down the stairs and into the kitchen were Andrea, Emma and Sam were fixing up breakfast.
They all look up “Happy Birthday Makayla”
I smile “aw thanks guys” I walk over and hug them as others started coming in to get there fix of the delicious meal Andrea and Emma had cooked up.
It was a full English breakfast and it looked amazing and so delicious that it made my stomach hungry.
“Well look like I’m a lucky girl today, move so I can’t get my breakfast” I playfully push Bruno out of the way and he dramatically put his hand on his heart.
“Oh my heart, it looks like you don’t love me anymore” he said fake upset.
I rolled my eyes and laughed as I grab my food and sit down at the table with Bruno following suit. He sits across from me as we sat talking.
“So are you going out today or no?” I ask my boyfriend as he stuffs his face with bacon.
“Yo B chill with the bacon I don’t want you to choke” I said as he looks up at me and doesn’t say a word.
After a minute he goes back to his food but more slowly this time and I laugh.
“You remind me of a really hungry pregnant woman” I laugh because he really did.
Bruno stops eating and slowly looks up and locks eyes with me and says “are you calling me fat?”
I burst out in laughter not because of what he said because he wasn’t, but because it was the way he was looking at me still, with his eyes trained on me and not moving a muscle as he stared me down.
“I’m sorry babe I-“ I continued to laugh.
After a good minute I stop and a regain my breath before talking.
“You’re not fat B, I’m sorry for laughing I couldn’t help it”
He smiles “nah don’t worry about it, I love you anyway”
“But you didn’t answer my earlier question” I said
“No, doc wanted me to do something but I told him I would do it another because it was your birthday and I don’t want to miss it” he said
I smile as we continue to eat. After we finished we put our plates in the sink and I head up to me and Bruno’s shared room and put on a movie.
Halfway through one of my movies,I realised I hadn’t seen Bruno for a few hours and so I pause the movie and head downstairs.
I looked in every room and couldn’t find him. Maybe he changed his mind and went out.
Emma walked by me and I think she knew what I was doing because she said “Hey Mak we are about to do presents”
“Oh well I’m coming” I said and I follow her to the living room.
When I get in there I see everyone including Bruno who sends me a very loving smile.
“Open mine first” Emma said as she handed me the wrapped item.
I unwrap it and it’s a very expensive necklace with my initials on it.
“Aww thanks Em” I hug her
“Your welcome” she said “anything for my bestie”
Next was Sam and he gifted me a CD and music player he found.
As I continued to get nice presents from everyone else with cards, It was finally Bruno’s turn to give me his gift.
“ Bruno, are you going to give Makayla her gift” Emma said with a smirk.
“Uh yes I am…”he said as he handed me a tiny gift and i unwrapped.
But before I could see what it was Bruno took it off me
“Makayla, we have been together for a little while and I’m very thankful that I met you. We have definitely had our ups and downs but we have overcome them together.”
I start to cry and Bruno smiles with tears in his eyes too as he wipes my tears.
“I love you with my whole being and I’ll be damned if I don’t do it so”
He gets down on one knee as he opens the box up to a beautiful ring.
“Makayla, Will you marry me?” He said voice shakey
I nod my head and laugh through tears “Yes of course I will Bruno”
He smiles and gets up gently sliding the ring on my finger and pulls me into a kiss.
Cheers erupted around us and Emma even shouted “Yay for Brayla”
“What’s Brayla?” Sam asked confused
“It’s their ship..well their couple name, it their names merged into one” she explained and he understood quickly.
“I love you” Bruno said sad hugging me close
“I love you too Bruno” I replied back
“Happy birthday mi amor” he said

Time and time again, the thoughts and prayers of conservatives are written in the blood of marginalized people. I am sick of seeing young trans people killed. I am sick of seeing young queer people killed. I am sick of seeing young black people killed, but more than that, I am sick of watching conservatives pretend that it is not an epidemic of violence. More and more, we focus on our geriatric politicians and their slow slog to death than the young people being murdered for who they are. Nex Bennedict did not deserve to die. Paulie Likens did not deserve to die. Stephon Clark did not deserve to die. Botham Jean did not deserve to die. Tamir Rice did not deserve to die. Michael Brown did not deserve to die. Brayla Stone did not deserve to die. Brianna Ghey and Ariyanna Mitchell did not deserve to die, but at the very least they all deserve change. I have yet to see anything change.

On the eighth of this February, 2024, Nex Benedict, a 16 year old non-binary student from Oklahoma passed away in hospital, a day after being beaten severely in a school restroom by a group of their bullies, and sustaining significant physical trauma to the head. This comes eerily close to the anniversary of the horrific murder of Brianna Ghey, who was the same age as Benedict at the time of her passing. The investigation of Benedict's death is still ongoing, but the facts are clear; our children are not safe, anywhere in the world. This is not just two instances of coincidental circumstance, this is a pattern of violence, transgender adolescents are targets of violence. So remember their names, say them out loud, spend a minute in silence for each and never let the world hear the end of it until the list stops getting longer.
Gwen Araujo
Nireah Johnson
Mercedes Williamson
Nikki Kuhnhausen
Brayla Stone
Ariyanna Mitchell
Brianna Ghey
Nex Benedict
And many, many more, who were not granted the dignity of coverage on their martyrdom.
Those whom the gods love die young.

every year, pride month (coincidentally also the month of my birth) rolls around and i am inundated with a flood of hatred and erasure. so, to the people out there who believe that my sexual orientation or gender identity dictates whether or not i am deserving of existence: what is the point of a life spent hated? and for no other reason than identity. it's akin to being hated for your eye color or for having an allergy to nuts. it is an immutable aspect of my personhood, yet people would rather me disappear than exist in my natural state. maybe i will disappear, falling down the void until i land in nothingness. circling the drain. I'm sure you'd like me better then. or perhaps you'd finally realize that WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS JUST. LIKE. YOU. but i doubt it. you didn't come to that realization for brianna ghey or cherry bush or ariyanna mitchell or doski azad or briza garces florez or ebeng mayor or brayla stone or selena reyez-hernandez or alexa luciano ruiz or nex benedict. you didn't care when it was o'shae sibley or club q or kaylen schulte and crystal turner or pulse or mark carson or cece mcdonald or august provost or justin goodwin or lateisha green. if you aren't killing us directly, then you fight every day to force us into killing ourselves. you are hurting people so deeply thay they would rather not exist at all and you are CELEBRATING this. what's worse is more than a few of you think you're doing this in the name of god. the very same god who tells you to love your neighbor, judge not lest ye be judged. the same god who said "let he among us who is without sin cast the first stone." so i ask, are you without sin? my people are vibrant and beautiful and joyous until some asshole who only skimmed the old testament grabs a bunch of his skinhead friends and casts his pale darkness over us. we are not the sinful ones here. you are supposed to be showing us love, always. just as we have always tried to do with you. i ask again. are you without sin?

Brayla swallowed the anxious feeling as best she could. She was a former fucking widow, how was she getting nervous?! She scratched at the back of her hair trying to quickly think of something to say but nothing came to mind.
She couldn't lie to him even if she wanted to. She was use to lying to everyone else. Hell even Natasha. But staring at Steve, at her dad........ it was like a lifetime of training just flew out the window.
"It,.... It's a friend's. I'm just crashing here for a little while." When he started looking around she crossed her arms and tried not to look like she was about to have an aneurism.
"As,... grateful as I am for Fury and miss Romanoff, I don't need baby sitters. I can take care of myself."
@brooklynbred-a
For a long while Brayla just stared at the blonde. Her eyes giving away how nervous she was for the first time in her life. The old her would have been stone face, like she was trained to be, but now? Staring at her father and trying to figure out what the hell she was suppose to say, there was no way she wasn't panicking.
"U-Uh Captain America. Wow. C-cool, hi,...." If she had to guess Natasha was the reason he was here. But did she tell him who she was? She didn't have enough information to play this off. So she was going to have to wing it.
"What are you doing here?" She said scooting her backpack over the blood stain next the the door. Hoping he hadn't seen it.

The murder of trans people has served as an impetus to the establishment of the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR).[1][2]
In 2019, the American Medical Association called the violence against trans people an "epidemic".[3][4][5]
In 2020, ABC News "independently confirmed 34 violent deaths of transgender and gender non-conforming people in 2020 at the time of publication." This was published by Good Morning America.[6] According to the Human Rights Campaign, at least 57 transgender and gender non-conforming people were killed in 2021, surpassing the total from 2020 of 44 people.[7]
2022 - Cherry Bush, a homeless 48-year-old trans woman, was shot to death in Los Angeles. Her alleged killer has been charged with a hate crime.[95]
2023 - Brianna Ghey was stabbed to death in Culcheth Linear Park on 11 February 2023. Transphobia was recognised as a secondary motive for the killing by one of the two killers
2020 – Alexa Luciano Ruiz was fatally shot in Puerto Rico on 24 February, after an incident in a local restroom.[84][85] Carmen Yulín Cruz called attention to her death before the 2020 Puerto Rico gubernatorial election. Ms. Luciano was killed while the assailant men laughed.[86]
2020 – Selena Reyes-Hernandez, 37, was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois, on 31 May by a man she went home with, after telling him that she was transgender.[87]
2020 – Brayla Stone, 17, was murdered in Arkansas in June 2020 by a man seeking to conceal his sexual relationship with her. The killer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 50 years in prison.[88]
2020 – Valera (name is changed in the report), a 46-year-old man, a janitor, was killed on 10 February in Chelyabinsk, Russia, by his dorm roommates after they learned he was a transgender man.[89]
2021 – Ebeng Mayor, a trans man from Batasan Hills, Philippines, was found raped, mutilated, and killed on 20 May 2021, after being missing for three days.[90]
2022 – Briza Garces Florez, a 40-year-old Colombian trans sex worker from the Netherlands, was stabbed to death by her 32-year-old boyfriend of Greek descent in a hotel in Wassenaar.[91][92]
2022 – Doski Azad, a 23-year-old Kurdish transgender woman, was murdered by her brother for being transgender.[93]
2022 – Ariyanna Mitchell, a 17-year-old Black trans girl from Virginia, was shot and killed by 19-year-old Jimmy LeShawn Williams with an assault rifle, after he asked her if she was transgender, and she replied, "yes".[94]

Geeta who's kind of winded up being a parental figure to Stella, visited her uni-housing out of the blue one evening. I guess it was kind of nice.. BUT I WAS GRADUATING IN A FEW DAYS. The sentiment was still appreciated!
Finally graduation, and a night out for the final time with our study group. Eric, Jennifer, Brayla, Anahi, Rhea, hopefully we'll all see each other again.
Luckily, Miss Stella's in need of a new roommate, and Rhea's been wanting to fly from the nest and move to the big city. Maybe a part of the study group can still stay intact ^^
