I love the little AU that skinny people live in where they have the same problems as fat people and can relate to the Experience. artists references are only for fat bodies, artists that do draw thin bodies are getting DMs from people going like "omg I'm so happy I discovered your art, it's so rare to find an artist who draws small bodies!!!!! for the first time I see people who look like me 😭😭" skinny people going "omggg I finally found a clothing brand that sells nice dresses in XS, I wish they weren't so so overpriced though" skinny people getting home from the doctor's office and collapsing on the couch to tell their roommate that their doc spent the whole appointment quizzing them about their diet and they were told they need to gain 40 pounds. but the doctor didn't want to check out the weird scraping sound they make when they breathe in, just that they should probably gain weight first. skinny celebrities and influencers spending thousands of dollars getting plastic surgery to transfer fat to their stomachs and jawlines. all the main characters in tv shows are fat. when you watch cartoons as a kid, there's one skinny character, and they're really dumb and annoying and get laughed at by the other characters. they're a loser and never get a boyfriend/girlfriend. the same clothes that are stylish when worn by fat people just get you made fun of. desirable romantic leads and manic pixie dream girls twirl their hair and say "yeeah I've just been fat my whole life, I just never lose weight no matter what I eat hehe" and this is an extremely endearing and attractive trait.

I know you have lots of questions about mattresses, so I'm really hoping this doesn't bother you, if it does it's totally ok if you don't answer it! You're just the only person I'm aware of who knows anything about mattresses who isn't actively trying to sell me something. Ok so, for the first time in our 5.5 year marriage my spouse @diagnosedgremlinenergy and I got a new mattress (because of reasons of which we had to get rid of all our fabric furniture and bomb our house). The first one was terrible, I already have chronic pain, and I was waking up sobbing every morning or not sleeping at all because it was causing so much pain. So while we had the option, we paid 100$ to switch the mattress, and we chose to get the queen version of our partner's new bed which he'd had for the same length of time and we'd laid on several times and it seemed ok. It's been 5 months now since we got it in November, and it's not ok. my love and I are still waking up in so much pain. I'm not sure what to do, but we can't afford to buy a new bed again. It's a bobs discount furniture bob-pedic gel mattress that was supposed to be very similar to a tempurpedic or purple mattress, and it was a very big purchase at 1100$ for the mattress and base, and our first new mattress ever. Is there anything we can do to make it slightly better, more comfortable, less pain causing, and maybe a little cooler too?

Unfortunately your best bet might be trying to resell it? If this was a box bed then it’s probably got no back support but it’s hard to diagnose whether a bed has no support or not enough comfort. I’ve never met a Tempur knock off that actually held a candle to the back support and pressure relief of the real deal.

Adding a topper could make a lack of support worse and make the bed hotter.

It’s worth reaching out and telling them you’re unhappy. Most small businesses really don’t want negative reviews and will try to make an exchange policy exception if you just ask.

uh oh forced to draw furniture guys but thankfully nothing exploded too much. realized early on that I really messed up the scaling and stuff when I initially had the table further back in a way that made it seem like it was pushed right up against the kitchen counter and stove and very nearly was too lazy to fix that but alas. really went crazy with the disaster of a title that was originally going to be syrup before I decided to make it look like the words themselves are pancakes and idk how they got so decorated with everything except syrup but yeah that's a thing

decided I wanted to draw store shelves apparently and promptly spent way too much time making the boxes and generic names because that was obviously the most important thing to add. these don't look much like supermarket colors but let's ignore that because it was either this or like boring white so I took my pick

for anyone who's curious (which is exactly no one) here's all the knockoff brand designs I came up with, most of which are based on irl brands but remastered because I think I'm funny

Red Devil one quart liquid clear varnish (flat 52) flat finish.

The lid is quite a bit rusty. I am not planning on opening it because a) It most likely is no good so I'm not using it for anything but show. b) might damage the lid beyond repair which isn't worth risking to smell some 1930s varnish. I'm thinking 30s is around the time they were in full swing and just moved to NJ changing their operations from Oklahoma.
