How's the Jaya situation in FYWH? Is it just not a factor because Jay and Cole have known each other much longer than they've known of Nya, or does a situation similar to the show play out (or some other way lol)

i think jay is not really concerned about a love triangle thing with cole because he and cole are bffs. he KNOWS that man is gay. but the situation does end up tying into jaya breakup because Nya keeps the results of the match maker test (or something similar) a secret and when jay finds out from someone else, they have a serious talk where he's like, "A relationship is about trust. We can't be keeping any secrets from each other, okay?"

...and then nya starts going behind the others backs to join in the fight à la samurai x in canon (albeit in a different way since we already have a sam x...) and lying to him. their romantic relationship comes to an end when that truth comes out...

Zane and Nya except the ‘braincell’ part of their ship name is only in name. When together they’re the stupidest mfs ever and lay on top of each other.

You have Nya flopped down on top of a Zane who gave up trying to untangle some of his inner wires, so now he’s just sat staring at the ceiling like a star fish.

And then Nya and Zane both stare at each other in confusion when they same the same exact annoyingly smart and complicated but also really useful thing.

Nya liking ice creams and popsicles, Zane likes any sort of drink like flavoured, fizzy, juice, and just water on its own.

They’re both cat people who don’t mind dogs, they’re both annoyingly self sacrificial, they both will die for their country and the people they love. They both died in front of their lovers, they both sacrificed their body and mind for it all, they both are associated with the colour blue, both in its symbolic way and in their gi. They both were considered weird and out of place until it was too late.

And they both would absolutely randomly freeze people into cubes whilst riding on bicycles.
