anywayz boys,girls, and anyone out or in-between! YouTube boycott rundown.

we've got a YouTube boycott on our hands and I'm ready to fan the flamez

Quick rundown of the situation (as short as I can manage) : basically fam theres a new online censorship law dubbed "Kosa" or "Kids online protection act" (AND BEFORE YOU GO TIPPING YOUR HATS CLAIMING THIS IS A 'GOOD THING' THINK AGAIN). This law has already been implemented in the UK and it been restricting some rather random things (like Wikipedia and other sites that aren't even related to porn or "hazardous" media) now politicians in the US are pushing for this law, and as of late YouTube is now planning on using Ai to determine whether a user is underage via the content they watch (gee I wonder how that could go wrong/ sarcasm) and if ai mistakes you for a minor you'll have to use your ID and implement your personal information, offer the ai verification system a photo of yourself, maybe a fingerprint scan, your driver's license etc. To me this just sounds more like a data collection scheme meant to track down who spreads what kind of content, track down online protesters, etc.

NOT. A. GOOD. THING. TO. HAVE.

This whole situation Is like some mega surveillance systems and it's horrifying to think about considering the fact that this fucking reminds me of n@zi Germany back in the day, y'know when THE man with the silly mustache restricted journalists and Germany's connection to the outside world???

I'll stop here cuz it shouldn't be that hard to put 2 and 2 together to realize this is a scheme for control of the the mass populace.

The point of the YouTube boycott is to STAY OFF OF YOUTUBE FOR ATLEAST A MONTH inorder to restrict youtube's monetization off viewers and youtubers so that YouTube itself (or it's moderators idk) are obligated to form some sort of compromise against this whole thing.

My way of contributing:

Since a long month of not watching YouTube videos or shorts could take a toll on the Patience of those participating in the boycott I am here to deliver alternatives for entertainment to help y'all's endure this trial.

Alternative's:

Daily motion (video streaming platform. It runs decently and is well organized despite the ads)

Disneynow.com (I know this one is a rather childish option But it's entertaining has plenty of shows, episodes and games to keep you occupied for a while)

Hdtoday

Hianime.to (good anime streaming site)

Gomble.com

Stay safe and be careful with whom you share this to.

I have an entire FAT notepad full of drafts.

I've fed that notepad with far too many sticky notes, daydreams, index cards,tons of ink (half of the words smudged but legible).

Hey! Ninjago tumblr! I have a question for you.

So! While going through my storage recently, I noticed something in my files. I used to use the files app to listen to music by screen recording videos, and apparently, there was one in there I forgot about:

Diisdoodles's song, "what happened to you, snow?".

So! This led me down a rabbit hole trying to find the original post, and unfortunately, I still can't find it.

But now I'm wondering: if the original post really is lost to time, should I reupload the song for archival purposes? I wouldn't want to cross any boundaries or anything, and I don't know much about the whole diisdoodles situation, so if someone who's better informed could give me some advice, that'd be great!

Took a while for me to answer bc after a solid minute of evaluating both options my mouth started leaking.

Both pastries are mainly made of egg ,flour ,sugar, milk (or water) ,ect so not much difference there

Both can be covered in side snacks like m&M's , strawberries, blueberries, other fruit bits, or down right drenched in syrup ( like how poseidon downed ody's crew).

Both can be soft an fluffy when cooked with care and crunchy when slightly burnt (tasty either way)

Now honestly my fat ah wants to choose both options presented to me simultaneously and call it a day. But no, only one may remain and I make it my duty to nominate the absolute best bc why not :

Though I personally want to continue infodumping about food my stomach is on the verge of fighting me bc I forgot to eat breakfast.

Pancakes are a good food for leisurely eating and taking your time; absolutely perfect for weekends or sick days (or dinner if you're bored).

but waffles are better for faster snacking and easier clean up bc the little holes serve as syrup holders and make you waste/ spill Less of the syrupy goodness, the crunch of a waffle is sure to wake you up-

Dr. Julien headcannons & lore 4 au story project (featuring his life before moving into a secret underground bunker)

Author's notes: sorry :D, I kinda died for a while but I'm back? School bummed me out a bit and I have regents testing next week but I'll try to be a bit more active (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠).

additional note : dr.julien having npd was inspired by the Npd Zane blog I saw floating around tumble (even tho Zane doesn't rlly have Npd in my au?) and I also absorbed some of @artzrblg 's works into my brain and got hooked (ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ). (Seriously tho her writing style is addictive as hell! Even tho I can't find the fic that inspired my Npd Julien craze, all her other works are delectable yum. (I also kinda look up to her & her writing talent but you didn't see that--- and if u did don't snitch)

Anyway onto my headcannons /Lore:

° his full name is Julien Julian (he doesn't really like his last name because "A" it's repetitive and "B" he disowned his family (I guess his parents and brother) before they could disown him. (I'm still deciding on what the family dilemma is)

° at the time Julien is a 23 year old who's stuck working for a questionable company because he did the stupid mistake of signing his life away in a moment of desperation.

° he's like passively suicidal but doesn't outright try anything because he knows he can't afford a decent funeral. As a result he entertains the idea of death whenever he has time to himself by indulging in cigarettes and scotch till his guts burn (he claims it makes him feel alive & gets blood flowing to his brain which increases his productivity "improves the flow of ideas" -julien ).

° even though he hates his job he can't quit it either because Exhibit A ; where he lives it's considered socially unacceptable to quit your job once hired because it makes you look like an irresponsible person and a poor planner unprepared for adulthood which makes others look down on you (something that Julien would also rather die that to deal with.) Then there's Examples B ; he's legally bound to said company at the time via contract, and lastly; Even if he could quit his chances of rehire anywhere else would be below zero because of his "lack of experience" and his negative credit score due to student loans.

° He's beyond broke ; his fate was pretty much sealed the moment he was born into a low income family but he was stuck in denial up til the bitter end.

Also Thanks to his enslaver "employer" Julien is paid 8.18$ an hour, that's 327$ a week which adds up to a measly sum of 1,308$ a month -IF his boss didn't dock his pay out of entitlement or because Julien simply "isn't grateful enough".

° since the cost of living is ever rising, it's clear julien can't afford an actual apartment,much less a house or car--

He did however manage to strike a deal with a local superintendent whom allowed him to rent out a basement for 400$. The basement itself was rather spacious and Julien didn't have to worry about heating since the boiler room was right above his space, the only downside was the rat colony that the landlord/superintendent could never seem to successfully exterminate, whenever he'd bring it up the grubby old man would always concoct some pathetic half-assed excuse for his incompetence or threaten to raise Julien's rent as the bastard claims to be a "merciful and considerate" man who's "kindness" was being abused by Julien .

Don't worry Julien always found a way to shut him up whenever the grouch got that way,the old Grinch never raised the rent either because Julien had meticulously gathered some dirt on that guy and the guy owed him plentiful favors lest he illicit Julien's wrath.

Quote from one of Julien's comebacks: " the wife ain't fooling anyone (*old guys full name*) I know you like boys and that you like em young!

° sometimes if Julien doesn't have the total rent payment he makes up for it by repairing any broken radiators, boilers or circuit breakers in the apartment complex to secure his stay.

That meant the superintendent has to "waste" less of his earnings on repairs and Julien doesn't get evicted because he is considered Useful (Julien takes full advantage of this fact whenever mr landlord threatens to kick him out)

Julien with his smugass face : "now, you wouldn't bit the hand that feed you would you?~)

°though their little arrangement isn't legal because of Julien's lack of a permit, Julien sure as hell wasn't going to let his skills go to waste,after all if he has a doctorate degree he sure wasn't going to let them gather dust.

° Julien has several doctorate degree's in various fields due to being conditioned by his mother to "be great" and that if he wasn't great he was "a waste and a shame"

°Julien was an overachiever, and going "above and beyond" is second nature to him at this point.

°he is overcritical of his work since he knowsb"he can do better" and expects the best from himself because he deserves the best he can manage.

UPDATE!note. or apology? I dunno mixed signals

Hello. I'm back? It's been a while? Or maybe not ADHD makes time move funny.

Sorry I disappeared school work made my brain short circuit. But that's not really the only thing on my mind.

I wanted to pick up a new hobby. Writing (y,know fanfics, au's, fantasy worlds/realms.) and I'm still working on it but I think i've hit a wall?

I felt so much motivation starting and daydreaming about said project...but now I'm burnt out? Its weird because I'm too tired to do the things I actually like? Not only that but when I'm writing I don't feel that my stories turn out too good- or good at all actually.

I'm writing but the finished products feel weird or not right they almost feel cringe even. I know The word cringe is unkind and I hate it to oblivion- but that's the only word I can use to describe my scrapped works.

How do I start liking my works?

How do I get better at doing the things I love?

Truth is I don't know.

I have no clues either.

But I'm still not giving up either, I'm going to continue trying, reading, analyzing and trying until I get skilled enough to create a Story worthy of my own Admiration!

But until then I'll continue to be 'cringe'. Even if my works suck right now I've gotta start somewhere!

If I accidentally make a mistake, use some terminology wrong or something I can't think of yet. please correct me or educate me instead of arguing or tryna attack me online. (Though I haven't got into any trouble of that sort during my time here I feel as if this is a necessary rule to set early.) I am an open minded individual and I choose to respect anyone whom shows me respect. If there were to be any situation I cannot resolve with logic or simple explanation I'd rather agree to disagree instead of blocking someone.

I am here to have fun, and to make friends or connections. Not fights.

I Am NOT pr0shipper. I do not condone ships with actual abusive relationships (they make my guts squrim in a very uncomfortable way). I also don't condone pedos/ chromo's (believe me I've had uncomfortable encounters with such folks before.)
