thinking about some of the jjk men and their fragrance preferences….

because gojo probably smells really good all the time.

and like, normally it’s obnoxious when people go overboard with their fragrance, but there’s something about the way his cologne lingers that’s absolutely delicious. it’s sweet, maybe with some hints of cinnamon, but there’s also a spice in it that complements his brazen demeanor. it’s probably high quality- it has lots of natural elements without that artificial sting that comes with lots of big name brands. if you’re his partner, you’ll carry around his shirts or wear them whenever he’s away, sniffing them every once in a while to remind yourself of him. and, because he’s satoru gojo, it’s the one thing he gatekeeps too; you’ve asked dozens of times where in the world he’s found such a unique scent, and he only answers with that self-assured smirk and a casual shrug. “sorry, that’s confidential.” what you don’t know is that he doesn’t tell you because he loves seeing you wrapped up so adorably in his clothes; it makes that infinity-guarded heart of his fill with a new kind of warmth, and he doesn’t want that scent traveling anywhere else.

and don’t get me started on nanami. oh, this man prides himself on always smelling good.

you’ll watch him get ready for work every morning and before date nights, noticing how meticulously he spritzes his cologne on at his pulse points, how he’s careful to pat not rub the fragrance into his skin because it dulls the top notes that way. (he explained it to you one time, because of course he would know information like that.) the scent lingers in his car, in his office, and he definitely invested in it. it’s a simple yet clean fragrance- i’m thinking linen meets vetiver with a hint of mint. however, the price tag doesn’t mean that much to him; he’d happily douse your pillowcase or sheets with it so you can think of him while he’s out working overtime- anything to always associate that fresh, clean scent with him and only him.

and choso? you might’ve had to help him pick a cologne out at his quiet request, only because that little brother of his told him that most guys wear it and that there’s a ton he can choose from.

you held the practically endless sample cards up to his nose that day in the mall, only for him to visibly wince at over half the new scents that filled his darkly marked nose. it was a funny and almost endearing scene, up until he finally settled on one that he really liked and still uses to this day. it’s a little smoky, probably with some jasmine notes and sandalwood, and you think it fits his reserved personality pretty well. he didn’t quite get the concept of “a little goes a long way” at first, but now he knows just how much to apply. if you ask, he’ll spray it wherever you want to be reminded of him- your plushies, your pillows, he’ll even let you wear it. you joke that if he keeps using the cologne as often as he does, it’ll start to seep into his blood; he simply tells you he can make that happen if you like it that much.

Politician au brainrot!

Ok so I originally pitched the idea of Jack and Bitty as representatives who have to come together to work on a bill and don’t get along but form a begrudging working relationship that turns into respect that turns into love, BUT I keep thinking about it and now I raise you:

Jack, Chief of Staff to Senator Byron Knight, notable for coming from a politically dynastic family frequently referred to as the Republican Kennedys. EXCEPT now Senator Knight is rattling political cages by running for office as a Democrat and SWEEPING the competition.

There’s a speaking engagement – a party – and Shitty gets the speaking role. Jack staffs, and while there, gets run into by someone who spills their drink on his white shirt by accident (critical faux pas), but keeps going. The speech goes off without a hitch but Jack is like “man reporters suck!”

But Senator Knight is new! And they need a strategy to get him in front of cameras. So they hatch a plan to get a reporter to buy into a story about the Knight legacy and what their office is doing to change the direction of politics and push progressive policy. AND GUESS who they get to bite on the story? IT’S NO OTHER THAN THE WINE-SPILLER HIMESLF, budding political journalist Eric Bittle.

So then they’re obviously working on this story about the bills Shitty is running, and Bitty is following them to events and hanging out in the office, and then there’s POLITICAL SCANDAL and doctored footage comes out of Shitty apparently saying some stuff about he’s only running to co-opt the party and it’s. NOT GOOD. But good thing they have an investigative reporter waiting for his big break! So Bitty and Jack are suddenly working in tandem to figure out who is doctoring footage and trying to get them in big trouble (and hooking up in hotel rooms the whole time both trying to assure themselves it Isn’t Going to Be That Serious while failing that assignment)

There’s definitely also a potential for a little Jack/Kent backstory here – maybe Jack also comes from a politically dynastic Democrat family, and was a budding star until he dropped out of the spotlight. BUT GUESS WHO DID RUN FOR OFFICE?? Kent MF Parson. And then tapes come out about HIM too, and they have to team up with his office too to figure out who is running all these crazy campaigns.

Y'know I've only just thought about how prey and predators were split into the two category's.

Like, are prey and predators both just humans/The same species? If so, why is one person randomly selected to be either a prey or a predator?

Or is it more like convergent evolution? Did they just evolved to be similar?

Or is it like a related species thing? They both descended from the same ancestor?

Maybe you just gotta be lucky and hope you inherent the right gene.

It's just fun to think about this stuff.

Granted Isla is in the bubble also with Enderian and its cracked so maybe she can also reach out

I had ideas for them and they were intended to be my practice for writing and story building ;;w;;! There was even going to be an introduction to the power of megas and dynamaxing! I even made this back in 2022, as a way where there is a discussion of immerse uncontrollable power to have when two items are combined!

Why am I suddenly bringing this up? Well... A friend recently dm'd me, asking of these characters and said how they miss hearing how happy I talk of these particular ocs, how I've always wanted to make a practice writing-base ask blog of them, and want to send these stinkers to others ask boxes just to faun over how my ocs interact with theirs ( and they meant these in particular because, uh... Well... I admittedly talk to this friend of how I'd imagine how others ocs interact with my ocs base on the asks I imagined -/////-. Can you tell that I obsess about this community but feel too shy about it? ) because this was brought back to me and even encouraged to try to give this idea another go ( This time not feel afraid ), I have just been overall debating about it ;;w;; If I do try it, I will at least need to fill up the main guild missing roles. Like... I don't have a guild leader to this story yet xd. I have yet to decide on species. Ofc the blog will focus on bipedal and anthros pwp. No ferals this time around! ( This does not mean ferals dont exist in my world for this! They do, but are very rare! Even rarer if it is a non-hybrid feral! ) I will have to replan an intro because uh... Just finished rewatching Avatar by James Cameron ( just to refresh the old memory box and let me tell you ,nine year old me definitely did not have the mental capacity to appreciate said movie) and I'm just over here buzzing with a new au for the hermits/empires crew and if you can't already tell it's 100% inspired by said movie.

The Hermits and emperors would be like the Na'vi while the watchers/listeners would take the place of the "sky people"/humans.

Grian, Jimmy, and Pearl would be the three with Avatars known as Shells who are sent down as spies for the watchers and listeners in order to gain information on how to take what they want from this new strange plant/server. In this au the watchers and listeners don't refer to what they are but to what they are allowed to know about combat by the void. The Void is the compound in which they work for whose main mission is to find planets with powerful energy sources so that they can take it and sell it to the highest bidder.

Jugavians are what the hermits and emperors species will be called and they are a bird like race that can't fly without the help of elytra ,another native species to Hermpier. Jugavians are tall beings with large eyes ,winglike ears, tails that fan out with feathers at the end with a pair of small wings on it right before it fans out, and a large blue gem in the center of their chests (lapis). They are generally kind and welcoming people but ever since the takers appeared have become suspicious and aggressive. Jugavians are all one species with the type of birds they are based off of as different types of subspecies.

Shells are the lab grown Void versions of Jugavians made specifically for their hosts in order to gain the trust of the jugavians so that they can figure out their weaknesses and take what they want. They appear to be exactly like jugavians but are missing the pair of wings that can be found on the tails of real jugavians.

Down below is a list of all the hermits and emperors. I've already decided what birds some of them would be based off of as well as the roles Grian Jimmy and Pearl each have working for the void. I'm open to suggestions for anyone without an assigned bird already. I'll also be drawing up an example for what Jugavians look like.

Grian: Watcher: Head researcher and the one who picked both Jimmy and Pearl to be part of project Shell. He has some combat experience due to his watcher status. Is twin brothers with Jimmy. His shell is a, you guessed it, Red Macaw variant.

Jimmy: Listener: one of the few Negotiators working within The Void. As a listener he isn't really allowed to know combat other than the bare minimum. Twin brother of Grian and is actually the younger of the two. His shell is a Canary variant.

Pearl: Watcher: Pearl is a soldier and the cousin of both Grian and Jimmy. As a soldier she has the most combat experience of the three and is meant to protect both Grian and Jimmy while they do their jobs. Her shell is a Snow owl variant.

darlin hasn’t asked sam to bite them because quinn was a punishment. they knew he was bad for them, he knew he didn’t think they were anything more than a ‘thrall.’ They knew that someone who loved them wouldn’t be so enthusiastic as the prospect of hurting them. They may not have known love, but they knew that much at least. So of course they haven’t asked Sam to bite them. They don’t need to self destruct anymore. They don’t need to hurt anymore.
