Proof I can write prose, if nothing else:

Why do I do that? Just hoping it can give people one more reason to donate. You are helping people in need and get some of your school work or an email you've been putting out for forever taken care of or just a silly little story out of it. And you donate the money yourself, so you can be assured they're going where you want them to.

So how does it work?

1. Pick a GoFundMe and donate a minimum of 10 USD *

2. Send me a screenshot as proof (no personal data, I feel like this goes without saying but better safe than sorry)

3. Pick one of the following:

- short original story

-short story using your world and characters

- fanfiction one-shot**

- an oratory piece on a given topic

- an essay

- a school assignment

- up to five official/business emails***

4. After you DM me we can discuss details like when you can expect the finished piece, what you want it to be like, etc. Do let me know if you want to get updates during the progress before you get the final product.

DISCLAIMER: Expect an initial reply in an about 24-hours window, but keep in mind I am a college student so I apologise for the iffy replies.

PLEASE read the clarifications under the cut:

* If you can't donate 10 USD, that's alright. Donate what you can and I will fill the rest. However, that's the preferred amount.

** If I am not well-versed in the fandom I might either turn that down and offer for you to pick something else or need additional time to make myself semi-familiar with the characters.

*** I myself am an introvert and know how daunting emails can be, which is why that's one of the options. Please don't send me any private information about you or the receiver (like names, addresses, company names, etc.), I will add blanks for you to fill. I feel like it goes without saying BUT I feel like it's still important to mention.

To answer the first post - yeah, basically! The run-down is:

The USA media being given a strategy on how to present the situation so Israel remains the "victim" and Palestinians - all "terrorists". It includes spinning everything around October 7th and pointing blame about any civilian casualties away from Israel ("misfires", aiming for underground tunnels, "human shields" (a neighbourhood. An entire neighborhood is not a shield), you name it).

Since the USA is a big political power, the West follows suit and so do the EU.

Alright, so Artistic Antics has "adopted" (as in helping them get money and talking about them constantly so that can go to more people) Nagham's family. She is amazing and helps multiple Palestinians Fundraise to evaquate, actually. Check out her videos and also - there are days she doubles the donations she receives so you can make double the impact with what you have. Money spent from engagement ALSO go towards fundraising.

I recently watched a video of a Palenstilian boy who could be no older than ten years old, sobbing on camera about the horrors he'd experienced during one of the Israeli air strikes.

In his words, he was trying to get a ball from under the car to his little nephew right before one of the bombs dropped upon them, resulting with the boy's nephews back being injured and him having to carry the injured boy back home.

He'd also had to bear witness to the gruesome death of a young boy named Saleh al Qaraan, who had his head exploded and his brains all splattered out.

That boy shouldn't have to experience horrors like that.

His never shouldn't had to experience those horrors.

Saleh al Qaraan shouldn't had to the in the gruesome way that he did.

They're just children.

They should not be bombed and have their lives risked or forcefully stripped away from them.

Seeing the tears and terror in that boy's eyes and hearing his wails sickens me to my very core because I know for a fact that none of them deserve this.

The hundreds of other children just like them who's lives have been forcibly taken during the Israeli air strikes did not deserve this.

The deaths of the estimated a thousand children to to the Israeli bomb strikes is in no way justified by Israel wanting to "defend itself."

This needs to stop.

Free Palestine does not mean "worship hamas."

It's an outcry to stop innocent deaths like this from continuing in Gaza and the West Bank.

We do what we can to help the survivors, we spread the word as much as possible and we do our best to step on the ringleaders' necks. Admittedly, there's not a lot a single person can do or even lots of people can do. But the key here is consistency and numbers. And what's important for consistency is finding your hope when you lose it and pushing through because to fight is to hope and they need us fighting like hell. Make some noise, help as many families as you can by donating and sharing their campaigns, sign petitions, contact your representatives if you are able to, go to protests, do what you can. Another thing you shouldn't forget: be angry as all hell. And use it not to fuel your hatred but your compassion and your demand for justice.

So that's what we do. It's not much, it's not enough, but with time it's gonna make a difference. Already has, even if it's not what we are striving for. But the tables are turning, albeit slowly and we must persist.

Boycotting companies DOES work!!!! Just recently McDonald's sales have tanked and they have been trying to change policies to save face but thankfully no one's buying it, keep boycotting!!!

The most important thing to remember however is to post about boycotting and to do it with hashtags! Example:
