day five ;; lee minho

minho was always there for you, supporting you, loving you, keeping you safe. and that certainly didn’t change when pride month rolled around.

he wasn’t too good with words, more opting to show you just how much he appreciated you and loved you through acts of service and physical affection.

you were at work the day the colorful month started, and so minho’s plan was set in motion as he got to work.

soonie, doongie, and dori were his victims of the surprise, the cute little boys even cuter in their outfits minho put them in.

and though they weren’t trained, he planned to have the kitties put on a little show for you, one he was sure you’d love.

the doorknob jiggled and unlocked as he was finishing up, placing the kitties in their spots. you stepped in and noticed the little scene of minho fixing up their specially colored bowties, and he swirled around to look at you, giving you a cute little smile and coming up to hug you, kissing your cheek.

“the kitties and I have a little surprise for you.”

you giggled and nodded. “okay, minnie.”

he gave a little grin, setting you down on the couch with a glint of excitement in his dark eyes and a kiss on your head. he moved to get the kitties in position, and he started the song that plays.

it was a fun song, but you didn’t realize it’s a song he worked on for you specially, and he moved the kitties around to dance to it, incorporating his own little moves in it.

but what made you truly smile is when the lyrics started to really convey his love for you, and the kitties were doing the cutest little jigs when you noticed the color combos of their bow ties.

soonie had an adorable ocean blue bow tie, doongie had a deep velvety purple, and dori’s was an adorable baby pink shade.

the bi flag, in the form of your favorite babies with bow ties.

the little number ended, to which minho bowed while you clapped and whooped.

you got up and came to scoop the kitties into your arms, pressing kisses to their soft heads, before setting them down and walking to your boyfriend, who was standing and watching you admirably.

“did you like it?”

“oh min, I loved it, thank you so much.”

he smiled. “anything for you, baby.” he wrapped his arms around you in a snug embrace as you wrapped your own around his waist. your smile said all that you couldn’t.

Ashley: (Fixes Up Lucas' Bow Tie) How are you feeling, Lucas?

Lucas: Nervous.....Shaky.... Maybe even a little terrified.....(Turns to Wario) I-Is there a word for all of this?

Wario: (Shrugs) I don't know. Fidgeted?

Lucas: Yeah. That's the one. Fidgeted. I am feeling definitely fidgeted right now.....(Turns to Ashley) Hey, how do I look by the way?

Ashley: (Smiles Softly) You look very handsome today. You really didn't have to wear the bow tie though.

Wario: Yeah. We're only having a picnic at the park.

Lucas: ('Sigh') I know. But Big Sis Ann insisted that I need to look my best for the occasion. This.... isn't too much, is it?

Ashley: It isn't. (Gently Grab Both of Lucas' Hands) And you have nothing to worry about here, Lucas. Everything is going to be just fine.

Wario: Ashley's right, squirt. I known these people for as long as I can remember. They're the most annoying and gullible- (Gets Startled Once He Notice Ashley's Dark Glare Is Pointing Directly at Him) I-I mean, they're the nicest people I know! A-And you don't need to worry about making a bad impression on them or anything. Just stay calm, be yourself, and everything will go good from there.

Ashley: (Genuinely Surprised) Wow, Wario. That's.... actually good advice.

Lucas: Yeah. (Smiles a Little) Thanks, Wario.

Wario: Eh. (Wave his Hand While Rolling his Eyes) It's whatever. I only did it to stop you from being a wuss. (Starts Picking his Nose)

Lucas: (Gets A Bit Grossed Out By Wario)

Ashley: (Gives Wario a Deadpinned Look on her Face) Stop picking your nose, Wario.

Ashley: ('Ugh') (Starts Rolling her Eyes) Horridness aside, you think you're ready to do this, Lucas?

Wario: Wahahahaha!- (Gets Stomped on the Toe By Ashley Before Wincing in Pain) YEOOUUCH!!! (Starts Hopping on One Toe) You.... little....yauughh!

Lucas' eyes begins in widened in genuine surprise at the sight of everyone present in the office. Each of which are as colorful, energetic, and lively as Ashley described them to be.

Lucas: Are they really the employees of this company?

Wario: Yep. Each and everyone of them.

Ashley: Pretty lively, aren't they?

Lucas: Yeah..... They're so cool.....

Wario: (Already Getting Impatient) Hurry up and say something already!

Lucas: (Immediately Comes Back to Reality) R-Right!....U-Um!

Everyone in the office came into a complete halt at what they were respectively doing while turning their heads at the timid boy with a bowtie.

Lucas: I...u-um...(Smiles Nervously While Waving Hello to the Employees) H-Hi. I'm not sure if Ashley and Wario told you about me beforehand, but....my name is-

Everyone: LUCAS!!~

Without any hesitation, the employees excitedly rushes over to Lucas and pulls into a group hug/gathering.

Ashley: (Sighs While Having a Deadpinned Look on her Face) So much for toning the excitement.....

Wario: Yep.

Mona: (Giggles Awkwardly While Making her Way to the Duo Along with Penny) Sorry about that, guys.... They've been excited to see Lucas since we first heard about him.

Penny: (Smiles Sheepishly While Watching the Scene Play Out) It's kind of changeling for most of us to maintain our excitement for this long, ya know?

Ashley: It's fine. (Starts Smiling a Little at the Crowd) I'm glad they're taking a liking to him at least.

Mona: Us too.

5-Volt: (Makes her Way to the Trio While Holding a Megaphone in her Hands) Do you mind covering your ears for a second, dears? I got this covered. (Clears Her Throat Before Screaming her Heart Out on the Megaphone) QUIIIIIIEEEETTTTT!!!!!

Everyone stopped what they were doing and have their attention directly towards 5-Volt while letting Lucas go.

5-Volt: ('Sigh') Look, I'm happy to see our guest here as much as you guys are right now, but could you please start settling yourselves down before you give this poor boy a panic attack?

Everyone: Yes, ma'am......Sorry, Lucas.....

5-Volt: (Gives Lucas a Hand With a Soft Smile on her Face) We're sorry about all of that, sweetheart. Are you okay?

Lucas: (Smiles a Bit Sheepishly While Getting Back up on his Face) I'm okay, ma'am. A-And there's really no need apologize for all of that. You all just took me by surprise is all.

5-Volt: Well, as long as you're okay, allow me to properly introduce myself: My name is Mrs. 5-Volt.

Mona: (Smiles Brightly at Lucas) And I'm Mona!

Penny: (Happily Salutes to Lucas) Penny Crygor, at your service! Ashley here told us quite a lot about you as of late~

Ashley: (Eyes Widened While Blushing)

Lucas: She has?

Mona: (Happily Nodded) Mmhmm~ She told us about how much of a sweetheart you are, how much she admires you since day one....

Penny: Ooh! She even told us she has dreams of marrying you som-

Ashley quickly comes back to reality as her eyes begins to widened before turning around to see Mona and Penny smirking at Her In a teasing fashion.

Ashley: (Groans in Annoyance While Walking Away) Let's just get this picnic over with.....

An Hour and a Half Later at the Diamond City's Picnic.........

Lucas: Wait. So..... You're telling me that Wario set an entire stadium contest, mistakenly stole a portable potty, and almost cheated all of you out of your money....just to order pizza?

Penny: Yeah.....It was pretty chaotic in those a two and a half days. But at least we had good time regardless. Even after Wario tried to steal our share of the deal afterwards.

Wario: Hey! In my defense, that Gold Challenge was all my idea from the very beginning.

Mona: Yeah, but we still helped.

Everyone (Except For Lucas and Ashley) Yeah!

Lucas: I...gotta agree with them, Wario. That was a pretty jerkish move on your part.

Wario: (Crosses his While Looking Away in Annoyance) Ehh Whatever! I can always scam you losers anytime I want....

5-Volt: (Place her Hand on Wario's Shoulder While Giving him the Dark Glare Herself) What was that?

Lucas: If you don't mind me asking, when was the first all of you have met each other?

Mona: On the day we first started working with Wario. It was supposed to be one time thing, but.....oddly enough, the more we started working on the company together, the more we got more closer to one another than we ever thought we would.

Ashley: (Nodded in Agreement) It's true. While Red and I met them shortly after, our entire relationship with one another has gotten more close overtime. In fact.....(Starts Smiling Softly) Besides the Smash Family, everyone here is.... practically like a family to me. Even if they do get on my nerves sometimes.

Penny: (Heart Begins to Melt in Pure Happiness) Oh, Ashleyyyy~ (Pulls Ashley into a Loving Hug) Thank you!~

Everyone (except for Wario and Lucas) begins to join in on the group hug. Showing Ashley how much she means to each and everyone to them as well.

Mona: (Frowns as Well) What do mean, Lucas?

Lucas: Well.....um....My mother and brother uh.... They're......gone.

Everyone: ('Gasps')

Penny: (Almost Speechless) G-Gone?

Lucas: Yeah...W-Well, I mean.... They weren't.... "gone" per say. They were....killed if anything.....

Everyone: ('GASPS')

5-Volt: (Covered her Mouth in Anguish) Oh my god.....

18-Volt: H-How!? What happened!?

Ashley: Everyone!

Everyone: (Stops at What They Were Doing and Turns to Ashley)

Ashley: ('Sigh') Look, I know all of you have questions in all of this, but... could you please not overwhelm Lucas here? He's been through a lot....

Lucas: (Gives Ashley a Sad Yet Reassuring Smile) It's okay, Ashley. I don't mind telling them what happened.

Ashley: Are you sure you wanna go through with this?

Mona: Yeah. You don't have to force yourself to tell us.

Lucas: (Simply Nodded) I'm sure. It's....not gonna be easy to tell, but... I'll do my best to stay strong throughout it all. (Takes a Deep Breath Before Speaking Again) Okay. So....it all started back in Tazmily Village, my hometown, it was morning time and.....

Regardless of how challenging it was in a few areas, Lucas continues to tell everyone almost everything that happened to him in the past. About Porky, the night that took his mother's live away, the disappearance of his twin brother and the sacrifice he took for Lucas in the later half of his tragedy adventure. As he told them each details, it wasn't long before tears begins to fall down on everyone's faces. Even Ashley started to shed a tear or two as she held Lucas' hand throughout the whole process. The explanation itself only lasted around fifteen minutes as Lucas mentally sighs in relief for lasting this long without breaking himself down.

Lucas: ......And that just about sums up everything that happened. It was.....a rough time for me back then. Losing love ones, getting out of a near death experience....It was a miracle dad and I managed to pull through till the very end without losing our minds. But....on the bright side....(Starts Smiling a Little) It....did taught me to be more brave and mindful over the years. And in a way, I'm kind of thankful for that, cause.... I don't think I would've become the person I am right now it weren't for that and all of the new friends and family I've made along the way. Kuma, Duster, Ness, Red, the Smash Family....(Smiles Down at Ashley) Even you, Ashley. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me.

Ashley: (Smiles Softly at her Boyfriend) It's really no problem at all, Lucas. If anything, I should be thanking you for being my friend to begin with....(Starts Blushing Again) A-And for being my boyfriend afterwards~ I love you for that....

Lucas: (Smiles Brightly) I love you too, Ash-

Before Lucas could finish saying his girlfriend's name, him and Ashley suddenly gets pulled into a hug by Penny, while she's still in tears.

Lucas: P-Penny!?

Ashley: (Glares at the Gender Girl) What has gotten into you!?

Penny: Sorry! ('Sniff') Didn't mean to ruin the moment. ('Sniff') My emotions are already running all over the place. So....('Sniff') I thought maybe hugging it out....('Sniff') Would help it go down a little, you know? ('Sniff')

Ashley: (Sighs While Rolling her Eyes) Whatever helps you feel better, Penny....

Penny: Thank you! ('Sniff') And Lucas?

Lucas: Y-Yeah?

Penny: ('Sniff') I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that in past and I'm so happy you're doing a lot better now. ('Sniff') And I know what it feels like to lose someone who's close to you, so....('Sniff') If you ever need someone to talk you, I'll always be there to listen and help, okay?

Dr. Crygor: (Joins in on the Group Hug) That goes for me as well, young man.

Mike: And me.

Doris 1: And for I as well.

Young Cricket: We would be honored to help you anyway we can as well.

9/18-Volt: Don't forget about us!

Kat/Ana: And us!

Lulu: And me!!

Mona: And me as well. We'll always be there for whenever you need us, Lucas. Promise.

Lucas: (Already in Tears) I know we just met and everything, but.... ('Sniff') I'm so glad.....('Sniff') THAT WE'RE FINALLY FRIENDSSS!~

Penny: Oh buddy! Don't cry!~

9-Volt: Yeah! Of course we're friends!~

Ashley: (Sighs Once More as She Hears her Friends Rambling on About Their Newfound Friendship) (So this is where my life has gotten to at this moment.... Being surrounded by a bunch of hyperactive fools and a cute, emotional boyfriend.....) (Smiles Softly) (I love it already.)

5-Volt: (Smiles Tearfully at the Kids Getting Along) ('Sniff') This is do sweet.....

Mantis: (Happily Nodded in Agreement) Agreed. I believe this will be a start of a beautiful friendship together.

Dribble: (Noticed Wario is Sniffing Right Beside him) Hey man, you getting emotional there too?

Wario: N-No! ('Sniff') I-I'm not crying! ('Sniff') I just got something in eye!

Spitz: Yeah? Like what?

Wario: ('Sniff') (Finally Burst Out Crying) YAHHHHHHHAHHHH!!! WHY DOES THE TWERP HAS TO BE SO SADDDDDD!

Dribble: (Starts Snickering) So much for not caring.

Ashley: (Sitting Next With All of the WarioWare Crew While Giving Ness Simple Nodded) Yes. All of them.

Mona: (Smiles Softly at the Boy) I hope you don't mind.

Ness: N-Not at all! I was just.... surprised by how many of you are there, you know? But....(Sigh Slowly Turns to Wario) Are you sure letting him join is a good idea?

Wario: (Glares at Ness) HEY! I can be nice and trustworthy as much as any of you losers in this stupid mansion! (Starts Eating his Chips While Looking Away)

Mona: (Smiles Sheepishly) W-We'll make sure he's on his best behavior.

Previous Conductors of the BBs, an incomplete list

These are not in chronicle order. I just wanted to write about some previous Conductors because why not.

Rikard Sunbäck/Erik Sunbäck - The Sunbäcks were the first "Conductors" (the role of Conductor wasn't created until after their deaths) and co-ruled the Bowtie Bastards. They fonded the Bowtie Bastards in the city of Gothenburg around the 1850s, after being thrown out of society for various reasons.

Rikard was the brains, a very calm, rational, and head strong man. He worked as an actual Conductor before creating the BBs, which gave him the ability to steal a train to act as their base. Although, he struggled with expressing himself and could fall into self-isolation at times. 

Since these were early times, Rikard didn't have a personal Bowtie. Instead, he was the sole bearer of the Conductors Cap. He died due to an infected bullet wound a few years after the creation of the BBs.

Erik was the heart. He was compassionate, caring, and determined. He also shared a calm attitude with his husband, although he was more emotional and stubborn. Erik was a tailor before the creation of the BBs who specialized in bowties, and he was the lad who crafted the earlier bowties by hand, including the Conductors Bowtie. 

The Conductors Bowtie was his personal bowtie, the one he got married in. He wore it around his neck. Erik died of typhus only a few months after his husband passed away, but many bowties throughout the years have believed and still believe that he died of a broken heart, with the typhus just speeding up the process.

Harris Miller - Harris was the first person to bear the title of Conductor after the Sunbäcks deaths. Many of the traditions the Bowties Bastards now hold dear started with him, and he's viewed as one of the best Conductors they've ever had. He was a bit of a hothead but also had a knack for devious plans and negotiating. Harris treated the Bowties as his children, as he always wanted to be a father. He never got that wish due to a genetic condition and never having the time to adopt a kid. Although he is viewed as one of the greatest Conductors to have ever lived, he was very close to becoming an actual dictator. Harris was authoritarian and a bit of a control freak, a fact often swept under the rug. 

His personal bowtie resembles pieces of coal, which represents his hotheadedness and ability to put pressure on an enemy for a fair amount of time. He didn't wear his personal bowtie during his Conductor years. He died of a single gunshot to the head after sacrificing himself for another member.

Dory Geraldton - The first female Conductor and the one to introduce the Young Soul/Old Soul system to bring peace between the old and the young, with the help of her partner Isitshalo Dube. (more about that here) She was a very traditional woman with a very motherly aura, making her a great domestic Conductor. Despite being very feminine she had a sharp wit and a love of bar fighting. It wasn't uncommon to find her dresses ripped och damaged. Even if she loved to clob idiots over the head with a beer bottle, she struggled with planning heists and leading high-stress situations. She's seen as a pretty good Conductor and her name is spoken positively. 

It became a tradition to shout out "DOOOORY" when engaging in a bar fight. If you invoked her name and won the bar fight you'll have to shout "THE LADY STRIKES AGAIN!" as is custom. Although if you lost you get to shout "DAMN YOU GERALDTON!". Dory never lost a single barfight so invoking her name is like a lucky charm.

Her personal bowtie is made up of two dropping bits of cloth that interlinked with each other just below her breasts. Small patterns of bottles were sewn into the fabric, and it's said the cloth was from one of her dresses that got torn up. She wore her personal Bowtie around her left arm during her Conductor years. She died of injuries sustained from a bad fall.

Stirrin Doorsnee - Stirrin was a pretty bellow average Conductor, and is mostly remembered for a few small things. They were Conductor when the precious Portuguese Purpurnite was brought into the organization's hands, which has become one of their greatest treasures. They also increased the budget for The Doves and The Metallics (more about them here) which caused an intellectual boom for the Bowties. But Stirrin was way too overly careful and suffered from an undiagnosed iron problem, which was never detected because the lad was terrified of doctors. They often fell asleep during important times and were often tired in one way or another. So he didn't bring much to the BBs, not that he put much effort in any way. 

His personal bowtie resembled two mugs with a bottle cap in the middle since he almost always had a mug with him and he collected bottle caps for fun. He wore his personal bowtie around his left ankle.

The most famous thing about Stirrin however was his death, as it introduced a new policy for future Conductors. They died in their sleep due to strangulation when the Conductors Bowtie got caught on the bedframe. After that, the Council implemented a new rule where a Conductor isn't allowed to sleep in the Conductor gear for their safety (something you can read more about here)

EXE - EXE is recognized as one of the worst Conductors in the history of the Bowtie Bastards. They were bratty, harsh, a bad listener, and barely cared about the family they were supposed to protect. They struggled with severe anger issues as well, but they refused to be treated. They did bring a fair amount of riches to the Bowtie Bastards with their brutal yet somehow well-coordinated raids and heists but at a major cost. So many Bowties perished in these attacks that EXE is referred to as "The Barney Bucherer" inside the organization. The reason for EXEs uncaringness towards the Bowties was that she wasn't a Bowtie. She was a Toppat spy bribed into power and used the Bowtie Bastards as a lesser part of the Toppats. They never wore the Conductors Cap, choosing instead to wear their iris tophat. 

Their personal bowtie was also based on an iris, because EXE had one hell of a stare, and most of their emotions were expressed via their eyes. Said bowtie was worn around her tophat. They perished when the Bowtie Bastards decided that they didn't want a leader that threw away their fellow bowties like nothing and cared more about being a high ranking Toppat then being the Conductor of the Bowtie Bastards. They kicked their ass hard enough so they wouldn't be able to escape and then dropped them off in a crocodile-filled river located in a remote area of Australia. They got eaten alive not long after.

Jessie Clarin - Jessie was the Conductor before the current Conductor, Elg, took power. There are very mixed opinions on her as she died so recently compared to other Conductors and her legacy hasn't been fully established yet. But she'll go down in the Bowtie history books for being the women behind a new subclass creation, the Tactical Bowties. (which you can read more about here) the Tactical Bowties stand alongside the Metallic Bowties and Dove Bowties as being groups with special duties compared to your average Bowtie. For Jessie herself, she's a pretty mixed bag. She was a very careful leader and could usually come up with complex plans to get as few people as possible hurt, although she wasn't as good at being a domestic Conductor. She got a lot of critique about how she was uncaring and cold, something that caused a few bowties to fear her. She was also a bit of a flirty smooth talker, which was a bit taboo for a Conductor. Nevertheless, she was a good Conductor when it came to bringing the bowties into a new age.

Her personal bowtie resembled two dropping wings with a beak in the middle, a reference to one of her most famous moments as a Metallic. There was a hawk who made a nest in the train's engine and she managed to both fight off the mother hawk on her own, fix the engine, and save the babies. She got a big scar across her eye from the whole thing, but she bore no ill will to the hawk. Jessie wore her personal bowtie around her shoulder.  She died during a surprise Government raid, where she was shot fatally in the chest.

👖 What type of clothing does your OC generally wear? Why? Do they have any “signature” accessories?

JD values comfort and a good range of movement above all else when it comes to his outfit choices, so he tends to lean towards soft cotton t-shirts, well worn jeans, and cozy flannel shirts when it comes to his everyday look. Pair those off with a solid pair of sturdy cowboy boots and he’s good as gold.

Sometimes he’s gotta dress formal for fancy events, in which case he’ll put on a white dress shirt, black suspenders, and black slacks. He avoids suit jackets as he finds them too stiff to properly fight in. He goes for a bowtie over a normal tie because the bowtie is harder to grab. As for shoes, the only way you’re gonna get him outta his cowboy boots is by pulling them off his cold dead body. He’s got a black pair for formal occasions.

Basically, so long as his outfit isn’t restrictive and doesn’t prevent him from protecting the boys, he’ll be fine.

As for accessories, he wears a wristwatch, a braided leather bracelet, and a stud in each ear. He’s also usually got a bunch of hair elastics on his wrists so the boys can put their hair up at a moment’s notice. Dethklok leaves the elastics with him because otherwise they’ll end up launching them at each other when they get bored.

JD’s hands are strong and calloused from years of working on the family farm. They’re a bit rough to the touch, but JD tries to be real gentle with ‘em. The hands that fire his gun, hold a shovel, and dig out the garden’s weeds are also the hands that deliver calves, calmly pet horses, and carefully hold little kittens while they’re being bottle-fed.

Everything about JD’s big (😏), so naturally his hands are fucking huge. Him and Nathan have about the same sized hands, though Nathan’s are a lot smoother.

Nathan’s made himself JD’s personal nail tech, so most of the time JD’s sporting black nail polish that Nathan painstakingly applied. JD keeps his nails fairly short just so they don’t get in his way

👤 What is your OC’s skin like? Is it unblemished, or are they prone to breakouts? Do they have any scars, tattoos, or other skin markings? Does their skin tend to be sensitive to things that get on it (lotions, cleaning products, etc.)?

JD was prone to acne as a teenager, but he doesn’t have that many breakouts as an adult. Sometimes he’ll get blackheads on his back, which either Toki or Pickles will squeeze out for him. He doesn’t usually notice the blackheads so it’s mostly just the boys picking at him for their own entertainment.

Scar wise, JD’s sporting a bullet wound on his left shoulder, a long scar down his right side, and a tiny little scar on the bridge of his nose that’s you wouldn’t see unless you were right up in his face for some reason.

In the tattoo department, JD’s got a black stag gear on the back of his neck, twin bluebirds just under his collarbones (representative of Dory and Dolly), and a half-sleeve on his right forearm of a forest/mountain scene, with a deer silhouette in the scene that respresents his mother. JD eventually also gets a falcon tattooed on one ankle and a horse on the other (representing Toki and Skwisgaar respectively.)

I can also deffo see him getting a little flower tattoo on his hip to match with St Cecilia. Eventually he’ll get little tats that represent all his friends ‘cause he likes them a lot

In light of the death of a legend, Doris Day, I'm going talk about one of my favourite films 'Calamity Jane'.

It is amazing, the songs were good the plot was good, the singing was good, it was funny, all the other stuff.

And, the bit that I enjoyed most, the bit that I wanted desperately to happen to me as a little kid, is the bit where two women go and live in a cottage together away from men and become better people because of it.

Doris Day begins the film as a woman who is "one of the guys" in an American western town

She goes about her life just fine and the people of the town respect her for it. There are songs, and she annoys her best friend a bit as tends to happen.

Then some stuff happens and she goes to the city and comes back with a woman pretending to be a big star of the stage, well, she waltzes into this woman's dressing room while she's changing and tells her she is amazing and needs to run away with her. Basically. Anyway some stuff happens, the plot of the film ensues and by some miracle they end up living in a little house together, alone. Without any dudes at all. As best friends, something that appealed to me a lot as a kid (we now know why)

During this stay Katie tries to teach Jane how to be a "real" woman and puts her in dresses

Not being used to this however, the first thing calamity does upon leaving the house in a dress is fall in some mud because she can't walk properly. Which is a mood.

This embarrsses her in front of both potential love interests (men) and it's all very sad.

They then decide to not go the whole way with the dresses but that she needs to look like a human person and not an old cowboy man who lives in a one bedroom shack and sleeps with his horses and Jane gets put in suits, more or less.

Throughout the time living together there are some lovely songs and this happens,

And they both fall in love with men (this isn't relevant to me)

So, in conclusion, due to the extreme lack of lesbian representation I had as a child I have developed a strong affinity for films of this era, because women live so closely together and sing and wear suits and sing together. This film is one of a few, and I know it's not really gay, but I like my imagination. :)

“And this, Doctor, would be my office.” Kate gestured around the room, smiling with pride and content as she watched the baffled Time Lord have a look around. Only a few weeks after the slow invasion, and he had come back, asking for a better view of the grounds. He had claimed he wanted to learn to get to know the new UNIT facilities, and Kate had been quick to please.

“I like it.” The Doctor answered looking around the bland walls and simple furniture. It wasn’t much for the eye to behold, but somehow it felt fitting. “It’s very…you-ish” He fumbled with the words, trying to find a good reply when he barely knew the woman, and decidedly did not wish to comment on how it reminded him of the Brigadier’s. At the stage they were at, it was too presumptuous, and The Doctor didn’t want the woman to feel as though she was nothing but a bleak copy of her father.

“I’m glad. I rather like it myself.” Kate smiled, and The Doctor took in her every detail, despite himself calculating how many of them he could clearly tell had come from her father. Kate Stewart had a lot of her father in her, but there was other components too, and for the first time, The Doctor started to consider who Kate’s mother might have been.

At the same time as the thought hit him, his eyes latched onto a framed photo standing on Kate’s desk. It seemed to be the only personal item in the room, and The Doctor was instantly intrigued. Walking closer, he could soon see that it was a picture of Kate, quite a lot younger than she was now by the looks of it. She was in a bikini, lying on top a towel on a beach somewhere. Lying next to her was an older woman, with a fifties-style swimsuit and graying red hair that fell in soft waves over her shoulders. The two women were leaning against one another, smiling at the person behind the camera.

Though years had past, and she had aged, it was still impossible for The Doctor to be mistaken about who the woman beside Kate was. From the frame, the answer stared back at him in the form of kind, dark eyes and a reserved smile. “Elizabeth Shaw?” He asked, confused and surprised. The Brigadier had always had a fondness for the woman, he knew, but this …

Kate laughed, seeing his confusion and enjoying it. “Yes, brilliant brilliant Doctor Shaw. Liz and dad made each other very happy those last few years.” She smiled sadly, feeling just a slight twinge of pain deep within her chest. Almost a year onwards, and she missed her father still.

The Doctor’s head shot up, eyes looking away from the photo to meet Kate’s. “Is she…? Did she…I mean I haven’t heard but…” He stopped, the words stocking in his throat. The pain of losing The Brigadier was still quite fresh, and he wasn’t  sure if he could handle losing Liz, too. It’d be too much.

Quickly understanding what The Doctor was trying to say, Kate shook her head defiantly.. “No. God no. She’s still alive and kicking, thankfully. She is too stubborn not to hold on. The trips to the moonbase will have to wait, though.”

The Doctor let out a sigh of relief, relaxing. Liz was still alive, after all. Refusing to give up, refusing to give in, just like his Liz had always been. “Good, good. But…the UNIT moonbase?” The last part of what Kate said surprised him. He hadn’t known Liz had been at the moonbase, nor that she returned to UNIT, as she must have done in order to have something to do with the moonbase.

"She came back to UNIT, Doctor. Found her way home in the end. Cambridge could only hold her for so long, and after she and dad married…well, I think it only made her want it more. The moonbase project ended up being her little baby, and I doubt we’d have made it without her.” Kate smiled, taking in the look on The Doctor’s face as even more question appeared in his head. He was so adorable and innocent this go around, and Kate cherished it.

The silence stretched out between them as The Doctor thought and Kate waited for him to finish thinking. Evidently there was a lot going on in his mind, and she saw no reason to rush him.

“The Brigadier and Liz married?” Finally The Doctor was ready to ask his next question,  and now Kate felt surprised, too, because she had never realised that The Doctor didn’t know. “And I thought…what about Doris?” He fiddled with his bowtie, apparently anxious as he looked at the photo again. It seemed today was a day of revelations, and every question set him back another ten as he realized how much it was that he’d never known about those he loved the most.

“She died, Doctor, in the nineties. Nothing else to it. Dad found Liz afterwards and they married in 2005. I reckon at least one of your incarnations was there, if not more.” Kate smiled kindly, leaning against her desk. She didn’t mind filling in The Doctor on the missing information, even if she was surprised he didn’t know.

“Hmm, I can’t remember it, so presumably it’s all in my future, and any past self’s of mine in attendance has had their memories blocked due to the paradox.” The Doctor tilted his head to the side, not feeling much wiser than when the conversation started. Instead, he observed Kate, measuring her and trying to figure out how much of Liz he could see in her. They certainly had the same kind of smile, and those eyes…

Could Liz have been Kate’s mother? The Doctor didn’t know. He knew it wasn’t Doris, for Kate must have been born by the time she and The Brigadier had become a couple in the early eighties. But Liz? They may have married later, but they had had a thing while Liz was still UNIT employed, which, he was beginning to realise, could technically have been the making of the woman before him. Swallowing dryly, The Doctor decided that it may not be the right thing to ask if she was the result of a secret affair by two UNIT employees which had technically not been allowed to date, and tried to think of something else to talk about.

“Doctor, is everything alright?” Watching him carefully, Kate could see The Doctor drifting away into thought. His forehead wrinkled and he gnawed away on his lips as something seemed to concern him. The more he thought, the more it seemed to concern him. Finally, Kate felt as though she had to ask if he was alright.

“Huh?” The Doctor startled, realising he had drifted off completely as he thought about what to say to Kate, trying to separate his thoughts from what was actually coming out of his mouth. “I was just…thinking”

“About what?” Kate lifted an eyebrow, observing The Doctor critically. Her arms crossed and she took a slightly aggressive stance.

“Who is your mother?” Finally, it slipped out of his mouth. The Doctor had been holding on to the question for so long, trying to be respectful and nice, before it finally escaped from his mouth.

Kate laughed, too surprised and shocked to manage anything else. “What? Doctor, why…” She trailed off, not sure how to complete the sentence. Not sure why he’d even ask.

“I…I just wanted to know. You look so much like The Brigadier, but there is something else, and…and I don’t know.” The Doctor waved his arms in the air, trying to convey his message but having run out of words to use.

Kate sigh. The Doctor always got what he wanted, no matter what. “My mother’s name was Fiona Lethbridge-Stewart. My dad’s first wife. They separated in 1970. I was 5. Haven’t seen her since I was 17.” Kate tried to smile, but it was hard, because she hated talking about her mother.

Hearing this, The Doctor laughed, his whole face lighting up. He kept laughing for a while but didn’t explain it.

“What’s so funny, Doctor?” Kate frowned, crossinng her arms and taking on her defencive stance once more. She had shared something personal for his sake and he was laughing her straight in the face without reason or explanation. Though Kate didn’t want to be mad at The Doctor, it hurt.

“I thought Liz was your mom.” His grin is ridiculously big, and he is clearly stifling the rest of his laughter as he finally explained was was so funny. “Kate Stewart, I honestly thought you were the child of Liz and The Brig?”

Hearing this, Kate’s face lit up as well. Fruitlessly, she attempted to stifle an entirely undignified giggle. “Be careful of what you say, Doctor” Kate warned, smiling. “She’ll kill you if she hear you!”

“You’re right, Kate, I just might” An all too familiar voice echoed through the small office, and when Kate and The Doctor finally dare to turn around, they are faced with the woman who they knew the voice belonged to.

Standing in the doorway, hands on her hips and an amused smile on her lips, was Doctor Elizabeth Shaw. Though years had passed since The Doctor last saw her, it was impossible to doubt who the woman before him was. One look at Kate’s surprised face confirmed what he already knew, and The Doctor coughed awkwardly as he tried to think of something to say.

“I didn’t mean it.” Was the first words to slip out of his mouth, and he blushed bashfully.

Liz laughed. Her stern face opened up, and she laughed heartily. “You don’t need to apologise, Doctor! There has certainly been worse things than people assuming Kate to be my daughter.”

“You have the same attitude. And smile. And eyes. Really, that stare of your. You sure you’re not related?” Finally having found his words again, The Doctor started blabbering away, hardly able to help it.

“Sorry Liz, The Doctor does what The Doctor does.” Kate smiled, not really embarrassed but apologising nonetheless. Considering the subject of the conversation they’d just had, she deserved it.

“It’s fine, Kate, I know what the man’s like.” Liz smiled at her step-daughter, before looking back at The Doctor. He looked nothing like her Doctor, of course, but then again - she probably didn’t look anything like his Liz anymore either. “She is not my daughter, Doctor. At least not biologically. Me and The Brig started dating long after the ‘having kids’ stage in our lives passed. The closest thing I ever did was marry myself to someone who had one.” She glanced at Kate, before quickly refocusing on The Doctor as she held up her left hand to show him her wedding rings.

“Oh, yes, talking of that… I apologise in advance for any inappropriate behaviour I may or may not have displayed at the wedding. As it seems, it is in my future still, and I can’t say I remember it very well. Or at all.” The Doctor grinned, and the other two women laughed.

“Well, I remember it clearly. “ Kate cut in. “And i doubt Liz is going to forget it in a long time yet.” She smiled smugly, giving Liz a knowing look, making The Doctor wonder exactly what he had done.

“Oh, yes, but I think that’s a story for another time.” Liz agreed, looking at straight at The Doctor, who nodded along without knowing what they were referring to.

“Yes I do believe it’s a tale for another time.”

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure

Okay y’all knew this was comin’ since I’m a FrozenFreak™ and I too am freaking out.

- My baby girls look on point in their new outfits!! I love Elsa’s floofity-floof fur collar and Anna looks really good in blue! ;3; And their hairpieces, yaaas.

- “Breaking and entering: okay on Christmas!” / “You chop down a tree and decorate its corpse with candles...I LOVE IT!” Olaf gives zero fucks

- I honestly love how Elsa still has her guilt complex, despite it being as sad as it is. A lot of people complain about Elsa’s constantly blaming herself for things going wrong and being anxious, saying that it’s repetitive and annoying. Well...that’s how mental illness and post-traumatic thinking works in her case. Just because she came home again at the end of the first film doesn’t mean she’s going to get better overnight and she’s going to be hunky-dory about things and forget the accident and the thirteen YEARS of isolation. She’s still got a lot to learn and she’s going to need reassurance and support. Kudos to the team for depicting her realistically. It’s okay, Elsa; we love you, baby girl. Go at your own pace. You’re doing fine.

- Kristoff better sing. Reindeer Rockstar needs to sing.

- I also wanna point out that they’re not just observing Christmas??? I saw Hanukkah, Lucia, and a few others?? It’s such a nice touch to show that, yeah, there IS more than one holiday around Christmastime for different religions and cultures. Really nice to see that acknowledgment.

- Can we have an opening presents scene? Pretty please?

- I was honestly kinda irked when I saw that this 21-minute long special was given a theatrical run with Coco, but apparently, it was too cinematic to air on ABC like previously stated. I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda on the fence about whether or not this is a cash grab. Not that I’m not excited about it, it just surprised me.

- You guys saw Olaf’s little bowties, right? ;3;

- For the timeline issue: I personally believe that OFA takes place BETWEEN Frozen and Frozen Fever. FF is stated to take place nearly a year after the original film in that following summer, so this must be the first Christmas after Elsa and Anna’s reunion.

- Idina and Kristen’s voices never fail to astound me at how pretty they sound together.

- Final thing: THE ANIMATION LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER?? It looks like there’s a ton more detail put in there in comparison to Frozen and Frozen Fever, like clothing and hair and lighting and stuff? Is it just me? Keep this up, then Frozen 2 is going to be animation porn.

Blue for sad, deep blue for calm, gold for energetic/confident, cyan for floaty, silver for dissociating?

28- ggggg gosh i cry all the time in books and movies, i cried at finding dory, and at guardians of the galaxy vol 2, and at swiss army man, and at steven universe a lot, and at attack on titan sometimes when i used to watch it (not anymore) anything i read that has a major character death makes me cry, i cried at the Dragons overwatch short for hanzo and genji, im big baby :/

29- i think i had a crush on a girl in elementary school when i was still straight and she was the most popular pretty girl in school, boring het stuff :/

30- marriage sounds really nice! Not that important tho it just seems leik part of the whole big thing of the different levels of “making it official” but it would be nice and fun!!! Kids are scary! Too much responsibilty and i, kinda dont leik them :/

31- im very superstitious sometimes, a couple years ago i saw the picture of the russian sleep experiment creepy pasta and its haunted me and my halfasleep mind until a few months ago last year thats not really superstitious i guess but im always very irrational about things leik that, leik if a noise happens at night then my brain goes: “its the [a creepy picture i saw that day] monster here to get you” and it really sucks sometimes but ive been a little bette with it lately! (Ps, Do Not look up the russian sleep experiment, it might not be the same for you but it was terrifying for me and had a lasting effect)

32- my 3am thoughts are ollie!! Its much better thinking about cuddling them instead of thinking about if everyone i know hates me secretly or wat went wrong on that particular day (although ive been doing better on that too)

33- i leik candy a lot!! My favorites are snickers, swedish fish, cinnamon gumdrops, chocolate (either chili or caramel), jolly ranchers, skittles, and sometimes airheads, i used to l o v e poprocks but i dont see then around anymore :l

34- halloween!!! Its my favorite time because its not too cold to have to stay inside and still cold enough for cool fashion options and also halloween itself!! Its fun! :D

35- my favorite season is winter!! It lets me stay inside and watch the pretty snow while i drink hot cocoa and play video games :3 fall is a close second!! Most of fall is cool enough to still be outside and the cold weather suits me even if its sometimes gives me colds!

36- i feel leik a dog would help me be happier because they generally more energetic? But a cat suits my personality much better and i feel leik we might get along a little easier , both are gud and no preference tho!!!

37- im really quiet i think!! I try not to talk at all unless its with people i already know, but the more comftorable i am with someone the louder i am with them!!

38- my favorite time period is medeival or far-future! Medieval only when in fantasy with dragons and magic and stuff because Real medieval times kinda sucked but: the knights! The samurai! And far future because space travel and sightseeing on distant planets!!

40- hhhhh i never remember my dreams but the worst nightmares are where i wake up and cant breathe leik sleep paralysis im pretty sure (that combined with russian sleep experiment is h e l l but thankfully that doesnt really happen anymore) and the best dreams ive had are when ollie is in them!!

41- i used to be really afraid the dark but im still sometimes just as afraid so i guess that doesnt count? I used to have dreams where the little one eyed dudes id make out of my erasers would turn evil and stand on my chest and id wake up with sleep paralisys so? Thats something i guess :/

But not as often

46- hell yeah i blush!!!!!!!!! Sometimes i blush when people are really nice to me but most times its from romantic stuff because i get flustered and blushy So Easily!!

47- every once in a while my depression comes back and most of the time it doesnt stay for lomg but while its here i feel everything at once while wanting to feel nothing and its so overwhelming or i feel nothing at all while wanting to feel at least one thing and it makes my heart hurt, most of the time tho i lean more on the side of feeling everything! Feelings are gud and i leik them!!!

48- im definently a crier! Cried basically for 3 years straight, but ive only cried happy crying a couple times, definitely a few tho, i smile a lot! I think!
