Howdy! I've finally set aside time to write my story with your BM and Rice pair. Beyond information and outlines anyways(its been... a hectic couple of years), but while I've started writing, I realized I don't know what it means for the Rice to be the dominant one in the pair, beyond him being the protector of the two.
I'm mainly asking how their dynamic works, and if this changes their actions/personalities at all, as I've read all I could find about these two and their pairing, I haven't been able to find a post where you go in depth on the differences between a Rice being the dominant one, and a BossMouse being the dominant one. This is all I need to really get the story going, as I really want to be accurate on this front.
Also, would being runaways from a fighting ring change any core traits? Like would a Rice still be a masochist, or would that be seriously toned down? Ive already put in my notes things like how its mainly only sudden noises they hate now, and how they can tolerate burning plastic smells more from their time in the dump, but its things like that I decided I might want to double check with you as well.
I also reblogged a post with some of these questions, but decided I should actually send in an ask, lol.
(This Post will be answering the second half about the fighting ring and how this effects them)
There will be two parts! (The first bit will take a bit longer at the rate I’m going ^^’)
Rice and BM definitely do change!!
Especially with a Dominant Rice or Bouse
The paranoia, aggression, and sadistic/masochistic levels will indeed increase, becoming more fight then flight, they will talk smack a lot more, be verbally and physically aggressive, size others up often and look for escape routs when vulnerable ( Dominant/Protector )
The Treasure, on the other hand will be more calculative, quieting down when in crowds, being more observant and far more nippy, they will always have things a certain way, will fidget with their jewelry, paws, tail or ears more often, and pick at their wounds. They will also have a tendency to not wear anything around the neck or on the ears, because they fear being choked or having the item ripped out. But they will wear things around the tail, probably sharp and prickly to prevent grabbing- as well as around the wrists and ankles, they do t usually wear as much jewelry as the average Bouse or Rice you will typically see and instead hide the items away only wearing them on special occasions.
Both, because they are hard of hearing, will be far more jumpy, by heavily tapping things nearby to get their attention you can ease them into your presence and prevent startling them too bad.
They will most likely detest the noise of angry shouting, loud bells, crackling, mic sounds in general, banging, barking large dogs, and even in some cases will even heavily detest or become stiff when hearing an announcer like voice.
Smells are a tricky subject, their noses can be sensitive so it is not uncommon for them to cover their mouths and noses with fabrics and other things that may help block the scents, strong herbs, charcoal, soap, flowers, salts, but NEVER perfumes!
Most BM and Rice are used to the smell of burning plastic though! Unless they are a newer pair, but because your pair is not you do not need to worry about that. However you are slightly right about a tolerance for the burning plastic since they are mixed with other substances and chemicals in the dump, they would definitely build up a better tolerance to it but not completely, chemicals can damage their noses after all- they would become so used to the smell that they might not even notice their loss of smell.
Rices do Indeed become much more masochist! As well as BMs become far more sadistic, each become a little more cruel because of the environment, and may act out these things without proper guidance. It will be your job to either help redirect or correct these behaviors so that you and others may not become hurt.
Protector and Treasure are supposed to balance one another out. And it will be explained hopefully more in the next post, but the main thing about them is that one
Protects, defends, makes shelter, creates safety, security and makes the treasure happy
The other, Redirects, Plans, Schemes, calculates, organizes, and heals their Protector
Now this can change, not every BM and Rice are the same, some pairs will actually swap traits, some will completely swap their dynamic in extremely rare cases despite one or the other being the Treasure or Protector. This is just the most common dynamic that forms.
Kind of like a Warrior and Healer party in a way ^^
More will be explained on differences in the second post!

Misunderstanding
Tommy x Evan “Buck”
A/n: i write a lot of Tommy and Buck. Imma write something different. Eventually.
Summary: Its Bucks off day and he decided he was going to bake some cookies and bring them to Tommy at work. When he arrives he spots Tommy talking to someone hes never seen before. Hes about to walk over to his boyfriend when the man kisses Tommy. Buck stops and turns around walking away before seeing or hearing Tommys reaction.
————
~Bucks POV~
I feel Tommys lips on mine as he gives me a goodbye kiss. “See you later.” He whispers. I hear the bedroom door click shut and drift back into sleeping.
When i woke up i made me some oatmeal and watched an episode of The Bachelor. When i was done i was bored. Eddie went down to Texas to vist with Christopher. I’m glad the two are making mends, i know it hurt Eddie when Chris left to live with his grandparents in Texas.
Maddie and Chim are taking a short trip to Long Beach. And Hen and Karin are dealing with the foster people to get Nia. So im out of options when it comes to hanging out with someone.
I decided im going to bake some cookies for Tommy and his station, so i get to work. I’m going to make a variety and an allergy free batch.
Once i finished i put the cookies in some boxes and loaded them into my jeep. I didnt text Tommy that i was coming because i want it to be a surprise.
When i arrived i parked my jeep and grabbed the boxes of cookies with a big smile on my face. I walked into the station and scanned the area looking for Tommy.
“Looking for Tommy?” Someone asks. “Yes.” I answer. Everyone here knows who i am. “Hes upstairs in the kitchen.” The person says. “Thanks.” I smile and make my way up the stairs.
When i get to the top i turn the corner and see Tommy talking to someone i’ve never seen before. Hes tall and skinny but well built, he has short curly blonde hair. I cant tell what color his eyes are but the way he is looking at Tommy is making me uneasy and hes standing really close to Tommy. Tommy is leaning against the counter just keeping conversation.
I was about to say his name when the guy leans forwards giving Tommy a kiss. That was all i needed to see even though thats not what i wanted to see. My heart instantly sank and i turned away and got out of there as fast as i could.
I threw the boxes of cookies in the trunk not caring if they spilled out and drove out of there as fast as I could.
I drove to my apartment because i obviously didnt want to go back to Tommys bouse where i’ve been staying at most of the time anyways.
When i walked in it was kind of cold but it didn’t bother me because i was flamming with anger. I cant believe Tommy kissed another guy. I tried not to cry but it was too hard to hold back. I really thought he was the one, that he wouldnt cheat on me. I guess i was wrong.
——-
~Tommys POV~
Everything was going fine at work, had a few easy calls. We got a new person his name is Kaleb Green, great young kid. Hes been doing really good.
We were in the kitchen just talking about why we wanted to become a firefighter and the craziest calls we have ever been on.
“So is your locker the one with the gay pride flag on it?” He asks me. “Yes?” I answer carefully. I dont think this kid is a homophobe or anything but im alway cautious when it comes to telling people. I have no shame in being a gay man but having such a masculine job some people may see me differently.
“Thats so cool. Another gay firefighter. I’ve never met another one. I dont feel so alone now.” He says. “Oh, well actually…” i was going to tell him about Evan but before i could finish my sentence he leaned forward and kissed me. I definitely was not expecting that.
“Dude! What the hell?!” I shout shoving him off of me. “Sorry. Too far?” He stupidly asks. “Yes way too far! Plus i have a boyfriend. He happens to be a firefighter too.” I snap. “Please dont report me. I really like it here” he begs. “Too late.” I tell him walking out of the kitchen.
I walk downstairs to report him when i see a familiar grey jeep leaving the parking lot pretty fast. I hope that wasnt Evan.
“Hey Kinard, what did Evan bring you?” Steven asks from a far. “Shit” i say under my breath that was Evan and he probably saw what happened in the kitchen because i never saw him.
I was about to ask if i could handle this when a call came through. I had to push down my anger and my worries about what just happened and focus on the call. God i hope its a simple call so it goes by fast.
It was not. It was a warehouse fire and the warehouse contained toxic chemicals so everything we did had to be done carefully and correctly. It took the rest of the shift.
We finally got back to the station at 11pm. I grabbed my bag and headed straight for my truck. “Hey Kinard.” I hear Kaleb call out behind me. “Dont talk to me. You most likely just ended my relationship with Evan and he was the best thing thats ever came into my life.” I snap at him. Which I probably said too much, based off his facial expressions, but i need to talk to Evan tell him what happened and pray that he believes me. “Let me talk to him, then i’ll ask for a new placement.” Kaleb says, “let me fix this.” He adds. “No you are not talking to him and yes find a new placement. Its not going to work for you here.” I tell him throwing my bag in the truck and drove home.
——
When i arrive home i dont see Evans jeep which means hes not here. I dont know why i thought he would be at my house after all. I mean yeah hes been staying here most of his time anyways but this would be the last place he would come after seeing another guy kiss me.
I try calling him and texting him but hes not answering, rightfully so. I drive over to his apartment next. I see his jeep parked in its usual spot so i know hes here.
I knock on his door immediately when i arrive. No response. “Evan its me. Please can we talk?” I ask through the door loud enough he should be able to here me. After a few more moments of knocking and asking nicely I threaten to do a welfare check and kick down his door.
I then heard the sound of locks unlocking and the door opened to a cold apartment and a tall Evan with a tear stained face and a angry blank expression.
“Evan please listen, i didnt kiss him. He kissed me.”i say, this is a lot more nerve racking than i thought. Its so hard not to stutter and to hse the right wording. “I saw you Tommy.” Evans voice cracks, he walks to the other end of the table while im at the other. Hes so close but het so far.
“Evan i would never cheat on you. Please believe me. We were talking and he asked if my locker was the one with the gay pride flag. Next thing i felt his lips on mine and i pushed him away. I swear.” I tell him the whole story but i cant tell if he believes me or not.
How do you convince your partner that you aren’t cheating on them when they saw another guy kiss you? I feel like im losing him and i really dont want to.
——-
~Bucks POV~
I listen to what Tommy is telling me and my brain is telling me not to believe him but my heart is telling me that hes telling the truth. Because Tommy is the first person to ever so me the type of personal affection, how it feels to be loved. Even though we haven’t said it yet we can feel it when we cuddle, when we get intimate, and when we say the same thing at the same time.
But in this case what do i go with my brain or my heart? Part of me wants to just believe him and go back to how things were but the other half wants to kick him out of my apartment and never talk to him again.
“Evan everyone in this situation had a misunderstanding.” Tommy says. “How am I misunderstanding this Tommy?” I ask in anger. “Okay, okah, im sorry. Wrong words here. Kaleb had a misunderstanding with what i said and he didnt let me finish talking before he kissed me. I was literally about to tell him about you when he kissed me.” Tommy explains.
“Thats what they all say.” I mumble under my breath. “Say what?” Tommy asks. “That the other person kissed them.” I answer. “Evan….” Tommy says, he can tell hes losing me.
It was quiet for a few moments as each of us trys to think of something. “I’ll come get my stuff tomorrow.” I say finally breaking the silence. “W-w-w-what?” Tommy stutters. “I said i’ll come get my stuff from your house tomorrow. While your at work so we dont see each other.” I repeat. Evans face goes into panic mode as he runs a frantic hand through his rough hair.
“Evan please. Im telling the truth. Listen Kaleb said he will talk to you. He’ll tell you everything i just said is true.” Tommy says all in one breath trying to convince me. “Please leave Tommy.” I ask. I’ve been hurt by too many people that are supposed to love me to try again and risk getting hurt again and again and again.
“Evan, baby please.” Tommy begs. “Stop. Get out Tommy. Get out before i call the police.” I command. Tommy rubs his chin with his hand as he turns to the door. He looks back at me one more time before he forces himself out the door.
Now im all alone, again. I should just stay single the rest of my life clearly everyone is going to hurt me when i get close to them.
——
The next day i wait intil i know Tommy is going to be at work so i can go get my clothes from over there.
When i arrive i dont see his truck which means he went to work today. I walk up to the door and i go to type in the code to unlock the door when the door opens. I look up and see the guy from yesterday. Kaleb.
I wanted to punch the guy so bad. He messed up the one good thing i had in my life. “Evan, right?” He asks. “So you’re Tommys new side piece huh?” I snarl. “Please let me explain myself. I never ment for any of this to happen. Can we just talk?” He asks stepping aside for me to come in. I roll my eyes and walk into the house.
I took a seat at the island in the kitchen as I listened to Kaleb talk. He basically said that it was his fault that he made the move and he ruined his chance at the firehouse. He said that he’s been transferred to a new one.
“So do you believe Tommy now? That he wouldn’t cheat on you?” Kaleb asks. “He was going to come tell you instantly but we got a call. You know how it is.” “Yeah.” Is all i say. “Well i have to get going. I really hope you can forgive Tommy. He really loves you.” Kaleb says as he lets himself out.
I sat at the kitchen island with my head in my hands thinking about what to do when i saw Tommy standing in the entrance of the kitchen leaning against the wall frame.
His body language was soft and his face was filled with regret. Hearing both sides of the story and that basically Tommy was telling the truth made it a little easier to go with my heart. But still knowing another guy kissed him hurts a little.
——
~Tomms POV~
I stood there and watched Evan as he proceeded what Kaleb told him. I can’t believe i caved and let Kaleb talk to Evan but its the only thing I could think of that could save mine and Evans relationship.
“So its true.” Evan finally says. “Yes.” I say. “A lot of people hurt me in the last Tommy.” He says. “I know. I never wanted to be one of them.” I try to control my voice to keep it steady.
“I know.” Evan says, “it still hurts that another guy kissed you.” He says. “It wont happen again. I swear to you Evan.” I promise him. “I know.” He says, a small smile spread across my face.
I walk towards him keeping an eye on his body language. “So do you forgive me?” I ask when im standing in front of him. I feel like im shaking as i wait for an answer. “Yes.” Evan tilts his head up and makes eye contact with me.
A smile spread my face as i lifted his chin up with my finger and connected my lips to his. God it felt so good to feel his lips against mine again. “What were you bringing me yesterday?” I ask out of curiosity. “Cookies. They are spilled in the back of my jeep.” He answers. “You taste better than cookies.” I say shrugging my shoulders. He smiles at that.
“I missed you so much.” I say against his lips resting my forehead against his. “I missed you too.” He says. I cradle the back of his head with my hand as i take his mouth back into mine.
I have him back and im never letting him go again.

Pervy OM! Brothers or Perv Sahed (*ノ▽ノ)
Tehehe im so evil >:3

Bro I'd rather do perv Sahed 'cuz he my fave of them all
word count: 692
---
Sahed the perv.
Sahed knows he shouldn't spend time in your personal chamber without your presence, but he couldn't help it. Today was laundry day, and he was just helping out!
He completely ignored the already filled basket with your clothes, instead opting to look through your drawers to look for your pantsies, but then he saw it. A set of lingerie, all black and blue, with blone stripes.
It reminded him of his colors. His blue eyes, his blonde bangs and his black hair. He felt his own breath grow ragged as he panted, fighting with the throught of touching your set or not.
He was a weak man, and imagined your boobs filling the bra instead of the structure of the metal inside of it.
Big mistake. Suddenly, the doorknob twisted, and Sahed jumped outside the window. Fortunately, the chambers were small, so Sahed only had to do two big steps before he jumped outside, and climbed upwards and to the left, where his room was.
Sahed hated himself. He hated himself that he brought your set with him. His hands couldn't let go after the satin fabric of the set, and without opening his hands, he managed to climb into his room, where he panted.
He sighed before he groaned as he sat up. So did his boner as he whimpered, but when he opened his hands, he loved himself and would just pat himself on the shoulder proudly.
That was, until you demanded a raid for every male's room because someone stole your lingerie set. He reluctingly brought it back with magic, but not before touchinf himself before handing it back anonymously.
it had some stains and you looked at the set in confusion.
...
It was a hot day today, and the circus rested near the beach for the people to have a nice beach day. That also meant that you'd be wearing that new swimsuit you've been bragging to rainah the other day, and Sahed was, well, excited.
And...he couldn't really hide his boner except sucking in his legs and when you looked at him with a raised brow, asking him if he'd like to go to the water with you, he only shook his head with a charming smile of his. "Wanna enjoy the hot sun on my skin, doll."
"But you're crouching underneath the umbrella, Sahed..", you muttered before you shrugged your shoulders and went away, effectively hurting his dick as he got a nice view of your ass and legs as you waded into the soft water.
When you came back, Sahed was still resting on his stool as he let himself get a bit tanner. You looked at the food before your hand came in contact with a light blue ice stick.
You took it into your mouth and Sahed looked at you through his sunglasses. It didn't help that all the people were eating in front of him, you sideways in front of him as you sucked and licked at the cool and sweet stick, and Sahed grit his teeth in jealousy as he glared at the treat which went in and out of your wet cavern.
He subconsciously flinched when you suddenly bit off half of it. Luckily, you mistook his reaction to having a jump scare in his dream.
...
Sahed can't help but look down at your body whenever you speak to him, because you never wear shirts or bouses which don't show your cleavages. So, he enjoys your two mounds pressed together when you hug his arm in excitement when you wan tot show him something, or when you look up at him.
you don't know that he's looking further down on your body than you think because of his three eyes, but Sahed knows where he's looking, and that's the only time where he's shameless.
He's basically having a staring contest with your tits as you ramble to him about something, and he always responds with "uh-huh", "oh no" and "that's nice" (probably at your boobies, perv😒)
and when you think he does, he just goes: "whaaaa? I'd never do that, my love." like yes you do Sahed stfu.
---
Okay that's all that I could come up with at the moment, and I've barely took half an hour to write this!
Read you in the next post!

Do you think the Lumi would do well with a Bossmouse and Rice pair from them?
I asked them and they said this.
They suggested a rescue bitty pair, but that was mainly to let them be okay with loud noises. They explore about what the two might need in the second link.
I certainly agree with the shopowner's opinion, it's a bit uncertain considering the differing personalities, but I believe that there may be a Lumi that can handle a Bouse and Rice!
Lumi bitties can vary in personality quite a bit from "Blueberry" to "Swap", though you'll most commonly find Lumis more in the middle of those two!
Lumis are very respectful of boundaries once they are set, so there is no concern there, however they do have their own little hoards and may not like if the other bitties try to take from them! They will defend their hoards. However! If a friendship is struck up between them, a Lumi may consider trying to find trinkets and such they think their companions may enjoy!
Slow introduction would be quite necessary, and it may be a small concern of the Lumi being a bit too extroverted for any Boss or Red bitty types... but I don't think it's impossible!

I was fully expectinflg ghe hag to have lair acrions, after all that warning eith the door and the myltie stage descent into the lair. Though I guess having the duplicates fulfilled the same role re action economy, and a party of four isnt so big, its not like a cr or d20 party of 6-8. Ive played in bigger groups and its not great.
I wasnt feeling fantastic today so I noodled around unfinished act 1 quests. I found the letter to Kagha. Im torn bc its super fun to have a secret backstory of shadow druids but like. She cant just be a bitch, she has to be 'evil' too? Idk.
Curious if Ill get a dialogue option to tell Halsin about it and how he'll react. I still cant seem to add him to my party. Does he just hang out at camp?
I also found the Harpers lookout. Ive found the scuffed rock, and a similar significant rock by the bridge on the Risen Road but neither Laezel or Larlach can throw them, shoving does nothing, shatter does nothing. Do I specifically need thunderwave? Or a telekinesis spell? What am I missing?
While trying to work out if Wyll can learn thunderwave (seems not) I discovered he has Gaseous Form so I tried using that to investigate some of the burrows Ive come across. The risen road one behind the bouse just leads into the crllar. Havent actually looted that yet. Went into the owlbear cave but couldnt find the burrow in there. And then I remembered Auntie Ethel and got caught up in that quest area.
Thr guy hunting Asterion is interesting. Left him peacefully. Astarion doesnt like me much. I wanted to ask who was huntong him but instead he asked where he was to be taken. Baldurs Gate of course. All roads lead to Baldurs Gate. Excepting that I have quests in thr city like finding Dammon and Mol, Id be starting to believe getting there is the end of the game. I want to buy my people nice clothes! Especially Karlach! And I took Wyll out of armour so he could use mage armour and he was suddenly rather naked. Switched him to showing camp clothes but it was a bit silly.
Mm at one point I directed Wyll to eldritch blast a redkap and instead he used arms of hadar on my bard. I dont know if I misclicked badly or if his patron is messing with him but it didnt happen again. I did swap him out soon after.
Slaps BG3 thus bad boy can hold so many entrances to the underdark! Theres the selunite temple, the drop from the spider lair, the elevator from the zhentarim hideout (considering gaseous form to loot those juice treasure rooms), the feather fall portal from Ethels lair, am I missing any? Presumably the moon towers/baldurs gate exit.
I was partway through the arcane tower when I started today but I wanted lighter questing. And geez area/act 2 has so many magical weapons. Im tempted to keep them all for some super specific cirumstance but id probably do better to sell them. Slowly working out what can be sold.
Im actually kinda mad that rope isnt practical. I got into a dumb pickle in the caravan cave with the gnolls. Jumped down to loot an area and two of my guys couldnt jump back. Grabbed rope and...its useless. So I took a long redy and fed em potions of giants strength and they made the leap easy. (Speaking of I am so tempted to open the case but those letters were very strict about not opening it and idk who its for and what their significance may be. Maybe its treasure. Maybe its a chest full of eye-yeerks. Who knows?)
Im also not absorbing the other eye slugs. Was it the narrator or dream guardian, the first time I used the illithid power, who said "You have lost something you will never get back". I do nooot trust it. Probably second playthrough Ill do it just to play with the game mechanic. Also romance Minthara maybe. I dont trust the sleep guardian but I dont super distrust her either. Idk what her deal is. But we're not absorbing more slugs losing more of ourselves no thanks. Back to the yeerk pool with them.
I do really love the quest diamonds that tell you where to go. "Find my missing husband please" oh there he is he got quite lost huh. Im still laughing at "and dont try ransom him back to me or you'll be skiny and stuck with an old man". The dialogue is really good. Laezel doesnt say shes monogamous, she says "I was interested but all the dogs have been picking you over. I prefer fresher meat". A little degrading, but at leasy shes not doing some weird jealousy thing. Usually I face with my bard. But then I used Karlach to talk to Dammon and all the dialogue options are perfectly in her voice, its great.
Im also loving the map design. Theres plenty going on and plenty to do, but not so much that you get lost in the weeds. Enough that it feels like a big grand world full of history and places to explore that arent directly plot relevant. Its a delicate balance of referring back to main events and keeping things tangential. (The women dealing w the hag for her husband. I never got to tell her about her brothers?? I thought it would be the first dialogue option but no zomvie busband abd off she goes to find their corpses on the fucking path?! Hut the devs cant think of *everything*, its ok).
Also the little things, undergrounds start getting spidery consistently, underground lairs lead to the underdark its very....verisimilitudinous???
Im also wondering if I can fo the underdark and the mountain pass righer in serial or at the same time. I do need to find the githyanki for Laezel that was our very first lead. Plus double the xp double the loot but I was forced into telling Halsin one or the other so idk if the game forces the issue.
K I think thats all I have to infodump today. Oh except seems like Shadowheart was a selunitr kid and thats pretty fucked. She likes me a lot. I dont think I reciprocate to that level. But astsrion doesnt like me much so yknow. Win some lose some.

🚨LONG(ish) POST ALERT🚨
First of all.
I did not expect to cry today. So congratulations on that 🥺😢😅 I don't know who my heart breaks for more, Bex or Mouse. I mean, Bex at least has all her friends gathered round her for support. And can I just say i loved getting to see more of the group dynamic, i kind of missed those bastards (completely forgot about the group name they gave themselves🤣) and their group chat bit was hilarious. But, anyway, Bex has no idea the real reason behind Mouse saying no and after finally getting the courage to ask, after all we've learnt about AJ, I'm just glad that she and Emery are able to be not okay together.
Not to mention that through all the heartbreak, she's still thinking about making sure Mouse is okay, which just shows how big a heart she has. Including how true it is that once you're part of the Hermann circle, you're stuck. Although I will admit that had hoped Bex found out about the bet at a happier time, not having just been "rejected"(putting in quotes because we all know that if Mouse hadn't spoken to Jay he would have said yes, because that's how he really feels) but good on Bex for threatening to withhold cookies. She knows her family, and how they definitely would go after Mouse if needed (even though he's family) for hurting her, but that the only way to stop them would be to go right for the jugular - no cookies 🍪 - they wouldn't know how to survive and would definitely be freaking out at that threat!
And Mouse. Poor Mouse. He was finally ready to confess his feelings, only to have his best friend tell him it would be a mistake. And then, just when he's starting to get a handle on pushing his feelings away, the person who is everything he wanted admits that she feels the same way. But he has to break her heart. Or at least that's what he thinks he has to do to avoid losing anyone should anything go wrong. No wonder he looks so bad when Jay goes to check on him, he's just had to hurt one the people he cares about the most, only for her to then turn around and comfort him. And send someone to check on him. Except, unknown to her, that person is also the one who convinced him that them being together would be a mistake. Which must have hurt just as much, seeing Jay after having to say no to Bex. Poor Mouse 🥺
At least Jay is starting to realise that he may have fucked up. Can't wait to see how that all plays out. I still really want to see someone hit him upside the head for that...okay so maybe I'm still feeling a 'lil violent towards him, especially after this chapter.
On to more positive notes. WILL AND CONNOR HAD THEIR DATE!!! And I loved all of it. From Will getting ready and texting clothes options to Bex, to Connor being too excited to wait in his apartment and then to the KISS at the end. Oh my 🥵 they were definitely feeling it after that. We love seeing Will happy. And then he came home and just wanted to spill everything to his sister, only having to settle for gushing to Kol (does it count as 'settling' if it's to Kol? I mean, Kol can't give a verbal response, but the cuddles and wiggles would be just as good right?). Also, I loved the "language" call back to the previous chapter, that was brilliant. And the wiggly ball of snuggles (I'm never going to get over that description 🙂) really should learn to watch his language 🤣
Overall, this was just an amazing update. It took me through all the emotions, though I can't wait for the below not to be one.
But that won't be until Bouse are happily together. And I can wait until that happens, because I know when it does you'll do it justice ❤️ Anyway, as I was saying, brilliant as always 👏👏🙌🙌
Wingman? Wingwoman? Wingperson. (Chapter Four)
Summary: This is Part Sixteen of my series A Herrmann/Halstead Production. It is an AU where Christopher Herrmann's mom had an affair with Pat Halstead resulting in a baby. The series follows this OC character (Rebecca "Bex" Herrmann) as she grows up and gets to know her brothers and the various Chicago teams. It is very much an AU, just to underscore that. It doesn't follow the same timeline and characters will follow different paths.
Click here for the Series Rundown where you can find the links to read all of the previous installments (which I highly recommend you do so that this one makes sense.)
Rating: Teen and Up
Relationships: Christopher Herrmann & Original Female Character, Jay Halstead & Original Female Character, Will Halstead & Original Female Character, Jay Halstead & Will Halstead, pre-Greg 'Mouse' Gerwitz/Original Female Character, Will Halstead/Connor Rhodes, Assorted OC Couples
Warnings: Referenced Domestic Violence and Threatening Behaviour (these are warning tags for a brief scenes with Ty), Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Rejection, Self-Sabotage, Swearing, and I'm adding Emotional Whump because writing this one hurt me, but also on the flip side - Connor and Will still being too freaking cute to handle.
A/N: To underscore my previous note, this is an alternate universe so things have unfolded differently. This will not follow the canon arc exactly by any means. But I hope you'll still enjoy it!
Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three
Chapter Four
Bex
Will called them back in the middle of the afternoon and it was pretty much the best phone call Bex had ever received. Top five for sure.
Her brother was giddy and the two of them were just as bad, drawing stares as they did a happy dance in the middle of the sidewalk. He couldn’t talk long since he had to go back to work, but promised to tell them the whole story later that night.
After his date.
“You’re next, Bex! You got this!” Will’s whispered cheers echoed out of the speaker phone. “I’ve got to get back to work, but I believe in you! Love you, bye!”
He disconnected before she could respond, leaving her standing there holding the phone and giggling as soon as she made eye contact with Emery.
“I would love to be a fly on the wall there for the rest of the day,” Bex said, still chuckling. “He is so spun.”
“That’s going to be you soon enough!” Emery knocked shoulders with her. “Got a game plan yet?”
“Still a work in progress,” Bex mumbled and Emery shook her head.
“Take your own advice, Bexie Babe,” she said. “And breathe.” She linked arms with Bex as they headed back toward the car. “What else was it you said to Will? You’ve already got something great and this is just taking a step toward something even better.”
It had certainly worked out for Will.
“Speak from the heart,” Emery continued. “You’re good at that.”
Breathe and speak from the heart. That seemed straightforward enough. “Okay, yeah,” Bex said, taking a shaky breath. “I’ve got this.”
“Say it again with confidence,” Emery demanded.
“I’ve got this,” Bex yelled.
“Yeah, you do!”
They high-fived and climbed into the Tin Can 2.0 to finish off the rest of their errands. High on Will’s success, they managed to zip through the remainder of the list and soon enough, Bex was dropping Emery off at Kira and Malia’s.
She waited until Emery was safely inside before getting ready to pull out of the parking and just as she was about to leave, her phone went off with a series of dings.
Picking it up, she swiped the screen to see a bunch of messages from Emery.
Pep talk texts before you go! Breathe! Be brave! Remember – horrible, horrible honesty.
And the last one was a bunch of emojis: lips, heart hands, and—
“Seriously?” Bex laughed as she dumped her phone back in the cup holder, ignoring the string of eggplant finishing off the message. Mission accomplished in any case.
A game plan was starting to form…
She felt lighter.
She felt ready.
Well, she needed to grab one more thing and then, she’d be ready.

Adam
As far as work days in Intelligence went, this one was actually kinda boring? With a break between cases, Voight had declared it paperwork day which sucked, but at least Adam was all caught up now.
Unlike Halstead, Atwater, and Upton who were still upstairs typing away. Dawson and Olinsky had ducked out awhile ago—no idea how they’d managed to be so fast.
Al typed with two fingers.
Kim was finished too so they’d made plans to meet up for pizza and a beer. He jogged down the front steps of the precinct, whistling to himself and feeling pretty pleased with—
“Adam.”
“GAH!” He flailed away, nearly falling off the last step when Bex popped up out of nowhere.
Where the hell had she come from?
“You’re awfully jumpy,” she said mildly, leaning up against the railing with a tray holding two iced drinks in her hands.
“What are you doing here?” He looked around, trying to keep one eye on her and the other scouting for traps. “If you’re looking for Jay, you’ll be waiting awhile.”
“I’m here to attend to…other business.” She maintained eye contact with him while picking up one of the drinks to take a slow sip.
Other business. Like…revenge business.
“Right. Cool,” Adam said, keeping a careful distance away from Bex as he navigated around her on the sidewalk. “I’ve gotta go, but I’ll see you around.” He kept her in his sights, walking backwards toward the parking lot.
“Not if I see you first,” she called out.
Yeah.
He was inspecting every inch of his car before he got in it today.
***
Bex
That was fun.
She watched Adam scuttle off with a smirk.
“Bold move terrorizing folks outside of a police station,” a familiar voice said.
She spun around to see Mouse standing on the steps behind her, mouth quirked in a crooked little grin.
“They all know it’s justified,” she said, waving a hand at the precinct in general.
Mouse chuckled for a moment until his gaze met hers. All the good humour slowly faded away and tendrils of doubt started to creep into Bex’s mind.
He cleared his throat and adjusted his bag on his shoulder. “So, uh, you looking—you looking for Jay?” He jerked a nod back at the door. “I think he’s gonna be an hour or so still.”
“Actually, I came here to see you,” she said and his gaze snapped back to her.
“Me?” He looked like a deer in headlights and Bex wished she could hear what he was thinking because this one-eighty in his behaviour lately was giving her whiplash.
***
Mouse
Mouse couldn’t breathe.
He’d been trying so hard to keep his distance—to take some time so he could be around Bex and not want…fucking everything.
But now here she was. Standing there looking beautiful with a smile of pure sunshine and she was here for him.
And he couldn’t.
Breathe.
How was he supposed to do this?
“I got you one of those iced caramel monstrosities you like,” she said with a teasing grin, holding out a cup with a familiar logo. His favourite coffee shop from three streets over.
He unclenched a hand from the strap of his bag and reached out to accept it with a jerk. “Thank you,” he managed to say.
“Soooo…” Bex tossed the tray in the trash and rocked back on her heels, taking a small sip of her drink. “You busy right now?”
Say yes and walk away.
Say yes.
Walk.
Away.
“Well, I’ve got this monstrosity to work my way through now,” he said instead, clearly not in control of his own mouth anymore.
“What do you think about taking a walk with me while you do that?” Bex asked, fingers clenching on her cup as she bit at her lip.
If he was a better man… a stronger man…he would say no. Mouse could see where this was headed from a mile away. It had been building for weeks. Months really.
There was never any real possibility of hiding from it. Distance was never going to stop it.
Inevitability made him a weak man. He needed to live in this fantasy for a few moments longer and pretend that this was his life. That he and Bex were taking this step toward something more.
Something great.
Instead of a mistake.
He wanted a few more minutes to pretend he could have this because when it ended how he knew it was going to end…the fantasy would be all he had left.
Mouse wanted to hold onto as many scraps as he could.
“Yeah,” he murmured, hating himself for giving in to this desperate need. “I could go for a walk.”
***
Bex
Bex and Mouse walked down the sidewalk together, bumping arms occasionally as they drifted into each other’s space. He filled her in on the boring day of paperwork they’d had and she told him about Emery’s progress.
Easy chit-chat that barely masked the humming tension between them.
She was doing this. Bex could hardly believe it, but she was doing this. The first part of the plan—get Mouse’s attention with a tasty beverage—has been successfully navigated and now she just had to make it through step two.
Set the stage.
There was a little garden park a block south of the precinct. Erin had actually introduced her to it one time when they met up for coffee. It was fairly quiet, nicely shaded, and had the added benefit of being relatively neutral ground that she and Mouse could both escape from if things went seriously south.
Plus a nice little bench they could make out on if things went seriously well.
…way to get ahead of yourself, Bex.
She deftly steered them into the park and made a beeline for the bench, patting the spot beside her for Mouse to take a seat.
He veered left instead, taking a spin around to look at the flowers.
Okay.
That was fine. She could pour her heart out while standing just as easily.
Well, not easily either way, but whatever.
Bex left her drink on the bench and wandered over to Mouse’s side. He was staring hard at a bed of daylilies, jaw clenched.
He looked stressed.
…maybe this wasn’t the right moment.
But what if there was never a right moment? There was always something going on and finding a perfect time was probably never going to happen.
And if he was freaking out about them getting closer, then there was never going to be a moment unless she took the initiative.
So.
Time to leap.
“Mouse,” she said quietly, but still managing to startle him. “Sorry. Um, I came looking for you today because there’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”
His forehead furrowed into a deep frown. “Bex—”
“Just let me get this out, okay?” She said in a rush, holding up a hand to ward off whatever he was going to say. She’d come too far to stop now.
“We’ve known each other for…a long time now,” Bex said with a little laugh and he smiled back at her faintly. “You’re one of my best friends, but I feel like lately, we’ve been getting even closer and it feels like we’re moving toward something—something more than friends.”
Oh, god, could she be any more awkward?
Focus, Bex.
“What I’m trying to say is that I would like that. And I’ve been getting the feeling that you would too,” she said, voice going up in a questioning note. “So, would you like to go on a date? With me?”
Bex held her breathe as all her hope and fear and excitement swirled in one terrified vortex.
Mouse’s eyes went wide. “Bex, no—”
Her brain stuttered to a halt and the vortex stopped.
Everything was silent.
Then that crack, the one deep inside that had been patched up so crudely, split and opened its jagged maw.
She—
She’d done it again.
What the hell was wrong with her?
To think that Mouse could lo—that he might—
“I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I think I misjudged what was happening here and—oh, gosh. I’m so sorry, Mouse, please forget I said anything, okay?”
“No, Bex, no—” He grabbed at her arm to stop her very necessary retreat and she couldn’t look him in the eye because she was two seconds away from losing it.
“Not no no,” he said and what did that mean? Did he not know any other words right now?
“I’m trying.”
Oh. She’d said that out loud.
“Bex, please look at me,” Mouse said and it was the desperate note in his voice that had her looking up. “Not no, I don’t want to, but no, I can’t. We can’t.”
“What do you mean, we can’t?” Bex halted her escape attempts and now Mouse wouldn’t meet her gaze. “I need a little bit more here, Mouse, because I’m so confused.”
“You didn’t misjudge anything,” he said softly. “There was something there.”
…was.
“I thought about being with you. Wanted that so much.”
She reached out to lay a gentle hand on top of his. “Me too,” she said. “Don’t you think it’s worth trying?”
Mouse shook his head in a rough jerk. “It would be a mistake,” he said flatly, stepping back.
“Or it could be amazing,” Bex said. “And honestly, I’d put better odds on that outcome.”
“No, it would never work—”
“I think you could give us both a little more credit.” Frustration was starting to edge out the shock now.
“It wouldn’t be you,” Mouse said, looking out at the garden with a thousand-yard stare. “I would mess it up, Bex. There are things you don’t know about me—”
“But I want to know—”
“I could never be who you need me to be.” He tapped a fist against the centre of his chest. “I can’t give—there’s no way it wouldn’t end in disaster, Bex and then—I’d lose you.”
She didn’t know what to say. How to break through this horrible imaginary scenario he’d spun for himself. “Mouse, no—”
“I’d lose you,” he said, firm now in his conviction. “And I’d lose Jay and I can’t do that, Bex. You and Jay are the most important people—you’re my family.”
Mouse moved back into her space suddenly, gripping her hands in his. “I can’t risk it. Do you—please understand, Bex,” he said, voice breaking. “Losing you and Jay would be it for me. I couldn’t survive that. I can’t—it would—”
“Okay.” Bex fought to keep her voice level as the reality of things finally settled in. “It’s okay, Mouse. I understand.”
There would be no convincing Mouse that his fears were unfounded.
She couldn’t say with one hundred percent certainty that they weren’t because no one could predict the future—although Mouse seemed to think he could—and maybe they would end in disaster.
She’d rather try and see how it went then never try at all, but it took two of them to make that decision. Bex liked to think that their friendship could survive a break-up, but maybe that was her being naïve.
Maybe Mouse was saving them from a broken future, but that thought didn’t do anything to fix the widening crack of pain and grief spreading through her.
They were trading possible, imaginary future heartache for very real heartache right now.
How was this better?
Bex dug deep and forced a small smile on her face. Mouse looked like he was careening toward a panic attack and she knew how hard it must have been for him to get all of that out.
The last thing she ever wanted was for him to lose his family.
For them to lose each other.
For them both to fall apart.
At least she had more people to help her pick herself back up.
Mouse had Jay.
And he had her.
She could suck it up and hold them both together for now.
“You are never going to lose us, Mouse,” she said, squeezing his hands back. “You’re my family too and I don’t know if you’ve noticed this about us Herrmanns, but once we latch on to you, you’re stuck with us for life.”
They both chuckled a little wetly at that.
“We will always be friends,” she said. “We will always be family. Nothing could ever happen to make us lose each other.” She shifted their hands into a pinky swear. “I promise.”
He stared down at their joined fingers as she shook them. “I’m so sorry, Bex,” he began.
“Shut up.” She released his hands and pulled Mouse into a hug. He held stiff for a moment before putting his arms around her and holding tight. “Believe that we’re going to be okay,” she said. “That’s all I want from you.”
“Okay,” he whispered into her hair.
She’d try to believe it too.
They had to be.
***
Mouse
Bex left shortly after that, saying she had to pick up Emery.
Mouse stayed in the little park, sitting on the bench and peeling at the edges of the label on his cup thinking that if he waited long enough…the ache in his chest would go away.
That the knowledge he’d done the right thing would kick in and he wouldn’t feel like he’d gone ahead and destroyed everything that mattered the most to him anyway.
But deep down, he knew.
He knew—
This wasn’t how doing the right thing was supposed to feel.
***
Bex
Bex sat in her car outside of Kira and Malia’s building.
She’d somehow found her way back to the Tin Can and driven all the way there without noticing and that was definitely not good. She was lucky she didn’t get into an accident.
The sun was beating down on the windshield making it rapidly more uncomfortable in her sweat-sticky seat, but she couldn’t move yet.
Not when moving meant facing people and facing people meant telling them—
She couldn’t move yet.
Her phone buzzed and she fished it out of the cupholder to check the message.
Will.
Checking in to see how it went.
Oh, god, she couldn’t tell him. He’d totally cancel his date with Connor and he was so excited for it. She didn’t want to be the one to ruin that.
She’d had her fill of ruining things today.
BEX: I chickened out.
A laugh slipped out at the keyboard smash he texted back. Another rapid fire set of texts followed it.
WILL: We’ll work on your game plan. WILL: It’ll be GREAT!!! You’ll see!
BEX: Sounds like a plan. Have fun on your date. Emery and I will be at Kira and Malia’s so you’ve go the apartment to yourself. 😉
WILL: a;lsdfa;ds
BEX: How red is your face right now?
WILL: STOP WILL: IT’S OUR FIRST DATE
BEX: I’m just saying…
WILL: 😩😩😩 WILL: We’re taking it slow, okay? WILL: I don’t want to mess this up.
A lot of that going around.
BEX: Sorry, I’ll stop teasing. It’s going to be great. You guys are perfect for each other. BEX: Have fun, okay? I can’t wait to hear all about it.
WILL: See you tomorrow
Yeah. She definitely was going to hold off telling him the truth for a few days. He deserved to have this time right now.
They could deal with her disaster later.
Bex took a deep, bracing breath and headed up to Kira and Malia’s apartment.
You’re okay.
You can talk about this.
You’re fine.
She knocked on the door and Kira answered immediately, Malia and Emery peering over her shoulder from behind.
Kira took one look at her face and reached out to pull her inside. “Oh, sweetie.”
Bex bursts into tears

Isaac
Their crew was assembled at Kira and Malia’s within twenty minutes.
He wasn’t quite sure what kind of scene they’d be walking into—everyone remembered AJ—but Bex seemed remarkably composed.
That was actually more disconcerting if he was honest.
She was teary as she gave them the run-down of her conversation with Mouse, but every time her voice started to break or she got choked up, she stopped and tamped it all down before continuing.
A quick glance around at his friends told him they were growing just as concerned.
“I’m so sorry, Bex,” Emery said, reaching over from her spot beside her on the couch to rub her back. “You must be crushed.”
“It’s not like we were even dating,” Bex said, looking down as she knitted her fingers together in her lap.
“That doesn’t make what you feel any less real,” Faith said softly. “It didn’t have to be official for there to be a real relationship there.”
Bex nodded, swallowing hard. “I just—I feel like I should have realized that’s why he wasn’t making a move, you know? And now I’ve pushed it and freaked him out and what if it’s all ruined anyway? I shouldn’t have said anything—”
“Bex, stop.” Isaac made his way over to the couch and wiggled his way in between her and Kira. “Anyone who saw the two of you together could tell there’s something special there and you’re not a mind reader, okay? Don’t beat yourself up for putting yourself out there.”
“I’m worried he’s going to pull away even more now—”
“You don’t let people get lost, Bex,” Emery said with a gentle smile. “Not for long and never forever. Mouse is in the Herrmann orbit for good and he’ll figure that out soon enough.”
“Okay. Yeah, I guess we just…see how it goes.” Bex sniffed and rubbed at her face before glancing around the room. “Please tell me there’s junk food in those bags you hauled in.”
“So much!” Devon hopped up and started rifling through them. He tossed Bex a bag of salt and vinegar chips first. “We’ve got you covered, girl.”
Isaac used the food distraction as a chance to slip away. His phone had been buzzing non-stop with people wanting to hear how it went.
Wanting to hear the good news that didn’t exist.
As far they knew, it was a sure thing so what was the harm in a few—many—playful check-ins.
They had Bex safely squared away, but he had no idea where Mouse was and he didn’t want to risk anyone making a playful comment to his face.
The guy had made a mistake, but he had to be hurting just as much as Bex right now.
Taking a deep breath, Isaac unlocked his phone and opened up the message thread that had been hopping all day.
He said no. Still getting the details. Best if everyone just forgets about this for now.
Two seconds of silence and then…
The Bouse group chat erupted.
***
Bex
Isaac’s phone was going crazy. He’d muted it, but she could see him peeking at it every once in awhile and a flood of notifications flashing across his screen every time.
“Okay, what is going on?” she finally asked, not able to take it anymore.
Whatever it was, maybe it would be a good distraction.
“Hm?” He quickly flipped his phone face down again, not looking at her. “Oh, nothing. Sorry. Work stuff.”
Right.
“Isaac,” she said and he hummed, still not looking her way.
Her friend was wonderful at so many things, but lying to people’s faces was not one of them.
“Isaac, look me in the eye and tell me that’s work stuff.”
He looked her in the side of her nose as he picked up his phone and started to get up off the couch. “It’s work—oof!”
Bex leapt across Emery to snatch the phone out of his hands. “You forget I know your unlock code,” she said.
“No, Bex!” He tried to grab it back, but she already had it open and more notifications were flashing across the screen. “I’m so sorry,” he said, flopping back on the couch. “I—”
“Is this?” She swiped through the messages. “There was a bet going on me and Mouse?” She looked up to see a room full of regretful nods and Emery rolling her eyes.
“For the record, I was not involved,” she said. “I haven’t even been here.”
“Who is?”
“Pretty much all of Fifty-One and a good chunk of the precinct and Med,” Sam admitted. “Not Chris and Cindy or Jay and Will. Or Connor actually.”
“Are you mad?” Isaac asked in a small voice. “We didn’t mean for it to get this big.”
Bex sighed. She wanted to be, but she didn’t have the energy. And honestly, she wasn’t even surprised. Fifty-One had been betting on everything for as long as she’d known them. And she knew how easily their shenanigans spiralled out of control. They couldn't help themselves.
Part of her wished they’d managed to curb those impulses for this particular situation though. She didn’t need it to get any messier than it already was.
“I’m not mad.” She waved the phone at him. “I’m more concerned about these reactions because you know how my family is. I don’t want anyone saying anything to Mouse.”
Well-meaning or not, it would make things ten times worse. None of them could possibly understand all of the layers at work. They’d just see her hurting and want to take action.
“I’m gonna—” She motioned toward the screen of Isaac’s phone.
“Oh, for sure,” he said. “Go ahead. It’ll be better coming from you I think anyway. More effective.”
Oh, she could do effective.
Bex opened the group chat and started a voice message.
“Hello family and friends. This is Bex. Yes, I know about the bet. I hope you all lost money. By now you’ve heard that ‘Bouse’—who thought of that by the way? Never mind. Not important. Bouse isn’t happening and the most important thing to know here is that it’s no one’s fault. It is what it is, okay? Under no circumstances is anyone to say anything to Mouse. Not one word. If you do, I will know and I will make your life a living hell. And on top of that, I will never make any of you cookies every again. Think about that. If one of you steps over the line, no one gets cookies. Forever. So please just…try and be cool, okay? Love you. Bye.”
She closed the chat and tossed the phone over to Isaac before leaning against Emery with her eyes closed. Everyone was quiet for a minute. Emery stroked her hair.
“Chief Boden is backing you up in the chat and telling everyone to behave,” Isaac reported and Bex sat straight up.
“Uncle Bo was in the chat? God, you really did get everyone.” Bex shook her head. “Okay, no, we’re officially done with that little side quest. It’s too much. Food and drink and snuggles, now, please.”
Her friends leapt into action and she let them do all of the fussing. She was going to let herself be a mindless slug for the next few hours.
Except—
She should do one last thing.
Bex picked up her own phone and sent a quick text to Jay.
Would you mind going to check on Mouse? No questions asked, please. Just do me a favour and check?
He immediately asked a bunch of questions, but when she didn’t respond just wrote “Okay.”
There.
Now Mouse had someone too.
*** Shay
She stared down at her phone. “Don’t say it,” she said, holding up a finger to Julie, knowing she was giving her a look without even having to check. “I know, okay? I know.”
“I wasn’t going to say I told you so.” Julie cuddled up beside her on the couch, hooking her chin onto Shay’s shoulder as she checked out the rapid fire messages being exchanged in the group chat. “I was going to ask if anyone has actually talked to Bex. Do we know how she is? How she really is?”
Shay shook her head. Isaac had been light on details, but she could read between the lines. Plus, Bex sounded awful in the voice memo she’d left in the chat.
They needed to start organizing. Figure out ways to support Bex.
If there was one thing she knew about heartbreak—hard won through her years and years of experience with it—
It always got worse before it got better.
***
Jay
He made his way over to Mouse’s place in record time.
Bex had sent him that cryptic freaking message and then refused to respond to him so he had no idea what he was walking into.
A prickle of fear crawled up the back of his throat as he thought about past situations he’d walked into with Mouse. Things he thought his friend would never come back from.
“Mouse!” Jay banged on the door. “You in there? Open up!”
He kept on banging until the door finally opened.
Mouse stood there, looking like shit and blocking his way in. What’s up, Jay? You’re gonna get me kicked out of the building if you keep yelling like that.”
“What’s up?” Jay tried to move forward, but Mouse wasn’t budging. “You tell me what’s up? Bex sent me a text asking me to check up on you—”
Mouse’s face did something complicated at that before settling back into a blank stare.
What the fuck was going on?
“Why is she worried about you? What happened?”
“She’s probably just worried because I’m doing what you said.” Mouse focused on a spot on Jay’s shoulder as he talked, voice slow and flat. “Pulling back a bit. Keeping my distance.”
That wasn’t—no, Mouse had got it twisted somehow.
“I didn’t mean don’t hang out with her,” Jay said. “I want us all to hang out like we always do. I just meant it was a bad idea to date.” He started to dig his phone out of his pocket. “Look, I’ll text her and we can have a movie night or something and get some pizza—”
“Jay.”
His tone stopped Jay mid-screen swipe. Jay looked up to see Mouse watching him with a pain in his eyes that he hadn’t seen there for awhile now.
“You’re not getting it, man,” he said. “If I can’t—you said it would be a mistake, right? And I get that. I do. So, I’m trying to walk it back, but it’s—it’s hard.” Mouse’s hand gripped at the door as he took a breath. “…I just need a bit of space.”
“Mouse—”
The door was shut and Mouse was gone before he could finish his sentence.
“Shit,” Jay whispered to himself as a voice in the back of his head started rumbling that he may have seriously fucked up.
***
Will
Will had been counting down the minutes until his shift was over, racing home as soon as he was free. He fed Kol, took him out for a walk, and then hopped into the shower.
Then he stared at his closet and really wished Bex was home.
He settled for sending her pictures of his outfit options until she and her friends helped him narrow it down to the perfect one.
Will felt like a teenager getting ready for his first date. It was a little bit ridiculous.
But fun?
He decided not to examine it too hard.
One final check on his hair and he was out the door to pick up his date.
Connor was waiting for him at the door of his building, but Will managed to get out to open the car door before he made it there. “I would have come up to your apartment,” he said. “Knocked on your door for the whole nine yards.”
“Okay, don’t laugh,” Connor said, pointing at warning finger at him. “ButIgottooexcited.”
“What?” Will laughed, hearing enough of that mumbled mess to get an idea of what he said.
“I got too excited to wait upstairs and decide to come down to wait for you here,” Connor said, rolling his eyes. “Happy now?”
“Yes, actually,” Will grinned at him as he got in the car. “Very.”
They had dinner at one of Will’s favourite restaurants—an Italian place that was more hearty, than fancy. They stopped at a bar afterwards—not Molly’s because neither of them was interested in that level of scrutiny on a first date—for some after dinner beers and a few rounds of darts.
Will kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and for things to take some kind of turn, but it was…
Amazing.
Conversation flowed easily between them with lots of laughter. They stuck to fun and interesting things. Kept it light. They’d had plenty of heart to hearts already so there was an unspoken agreement to lean into the levity of a first date.
And then there was the flirting.
Apparently Connor had been holding back before because Will was overwhelmed in the best way possible. Although he liked to think he was giving as good as he got if Connor’s heated glances were anything to go by.
They stayed out until midnight. Hours later than they should have considering the day they’d both worked, but neither of them had been ready to say goodnight too soon.
Will took Connor back home and walked him to his front door.
“I like the whole nine yards,” Connor said, quirking a smile at him before leaning in. “So…where does a goodnight kiss fall on the taking it slow spectrum?”
He pretended to think it over. “It’s allowed,” Will finally said, moving to close the distance between them.
It was tentative to start, in the way of first kisses, until Connor tilted his head just so and everything slotted into place. Will felt the sparks down to his toes as he deepened the kiss.
He chased the feeling until Connor made a surprised noise and Will pulled back to see he’d somehow crowded Connor into the wall of the building.
Oops.
“We should probably stop before we break the spectrum,” Connor said, sounding a little breathless.
“Right,” Will released him with an embarrassed chuckle. “Sorry about that.”
“Don’t be.” Connor darted forward to give him one last peck. “I liked it.” He smiled at Will before saying goodnight and heading inside.
Will’s phone went off as he headed toward his car and he knew before he checked it would be Connor.
CONNOR: What are you doing Friday night?
WILL: Going on a date with you?
CONNOR: My fancy car and I will see you at seven.
WILL: I’ll be waiting on the sidewalk.
He knew he was grinning like an idiot the whole ride home, but he couldn’t find it in himself to care.
He’d gone on a date with Connor Rhodes.
And it was awesome.
Walking back to a Bex-less apartment was less awesome. He wanted to tell her every single detail, but that was going to have to wait until tomorrow.
At least he wasn’t completely alone.
“Kol,” he said, as he flopped down on the couch. “Come here and let me tell you about the wild day I had.”
***
Bex
She and Emery made it back to the apartment by ten the next morning. Well after the time Will would have left for work so at least she wouldn’t have to face him until that night.
Or so she thought.
His stuff was all hanging by the door when she opened it and she could hear humming coming from the kitchen.
“Will?” She called out, sharing a resigned glance with Emery. “What are you doing home? Everything okay?”
“Yeah,” he called back. “Somebody needed a switch so I don’t go in until noon. Glad I still get to see you…” He trailed off as he came out of the kitchen and got a good look at her as she stood in the living room.
She tried to look normal, but—
“Oh, Bex,” he said, face falling as he made his way over in two strides. “What happened?”
“I’m fine,” she said, but her voice breaking on the last word didn’t help her cause at all.
Kol lifted his head up from the couch and whined at her.
“Kol says that’s bullshit,” Will said.
“Language, Kol,” she managed to mutter before Will had her wrapped up in a gigantic hug. He maneuvered her toward the couch, getting Kol to scoot over to make room. Emery murmured something about making tea as she headed for the kitchen.
“I really am okay, Will,” she started to say before he cut her off with a flat look. “I will be okay,” she amended. “Talking with my friends last night helped a lot.”
“You can talk to me too,” he said earnestly and she loved him for it, but—
“What I really want to do right now is talk about your date.”
“Are you sure?” He didn’t look convinced by that plan of action at all.
“Oh, my god, yes,” she exclaimed. “I need the serotonin, okay? Do not leave a single detail out. I want to hear about the date. I need to hear about the asking! I mean, I know it went well, obviously, but I want to hear it all from you.”
“I did the sleeve thing,” Will said, already blushing.
“I knew it would work,” Emery yelled from the kitchen.
“Yeah, definitely not how you thought it would though,” Will said, rolling his eyes. He proceeded to tell them the whole hilarious story and Bex sat back, letting herself bask in her brother’s joy.
***
Bex
Later that night, when it was dark and quiet and Will was still at work, she and Emery sat on the couch with Kol between them.
“How are you really doing?” Emery asked her.
“I could ask you the same thing,” Bex shot back.
Silence filled the space between them as neither one moved to answer the question.
But—
Horrible, horrible honesty, right?
“I’m not okay,” Bex whispered. “I feel like I’m walking around with my chest ripped open and I’m trying to hold it together and it shouldn’t be that hard, but every step keeps dragging me down.”
Emery nodded, reaching over Kol to grab her hand. “I’m not okay either,” she said. “I thought I could keep busy and distract myself, but I’m—I’m scared all the time, Bex, and it’s so exhausting. I hate that everything is such a mess, but I can’t find my way through it.”
Bex shuffled around to fully face her on the couch. “I don’t want to talk to my brothers about this right now,” she said. “It’s just too complicated—it’s too much, but—”
“You need to talk about it,” Emery said.
“We both need to talk,” Bex countered. “About all of this stuff. Without pretending we’re okay.”
“So, we’ll be not okay together for awhile.” Emery squeezed her hand and Kol grumbled, rolling over on the couch so they could give him belly rubs. “I can handle that.”
Not okay. Together.
Sounded like a plan.
If you need something to make you smile after reading this and you haven't spotted it yet, I rewrote the break room scene as a little ficlet from Connor's perspective. It's called I'm Looking Disrespectfully, Sir and you can read it here.

Stout hearted
(Adj): having a brave heart
Hanma x older sister reader x Black dragon founders
Warning: mentions of abuse, fights
Age:9
“You’re going to be a big sister, so promise to care of him okay?”
(Y/n) remember the day, her mother announced that she would be getting a little brother. She was really excited to be an older sister, she always clung onto her mother and had been following her around since the pregnancy was announced.
She rushed home after school every day to go help her mother around the bouse, she didn’t want her mother to overwork herself or the baby.
(Y/n) remember the gloomy weather on the day Shuji was born, she hated the thunder and the rain. She still does, it reminded her of the day everything changed. She remembers the bitter scent of the antiseptic lingering in the air, it was clean. It was busy with nurses running up and down, people talking and whispering.
There was so much blood
“Do you wanna go get a snack?” The sweet voice of the elderly nurse brought her back, (Y/n) shook her head her hands gripping onto the bench “Is mom going to be okay?”
A sudden wave of nausea hit the young girl, trembling hands moved to rub her teary eyes “w-what about Shuji? Will he be okay?” She needed to know, the room felt suffocating. Her hearted ached and she couldn’t breathe. She didn’t remember much after learning about the loss of her mother, other than waking up to a baby crying.
She rushed off the bed, stumbling as she ran to the crib. He looked so small laying there crying “it’s okay shu… Nee San is here”
Age:10
She never understood how a parent could hate their own child, Shuji didn’t have anything to do with their mother’s death. Ever since her mother passed, her father spent most nights working or he was out with his friends. Yes she struggled with school and Shuji but she preferred it this way, her father would leave Shuji crying and would scream at him if he wouldnt keep quiet.
She remembered the first night he came back angry, the anger was directed toward Shuji this time. (Y/n) had gotten into a physical fight at her school when the boy kept on saying how she and her family were cursed. What caused her to jump the boy was when he brought Shuji into the mess and blame him for the curse. She didn’t know how but in a matter of seconds, she was on top of him throwing punches. That night was the first time she witnessed her father’s true anger.
She moved Shuji to sleep with her that night and the two of them celebrate his birthday, locked away in her room. She curled up around him while reading books to him, petting his head to help calm he down after the events of the day.
Shuji remembers the first time he had gotten into a fight, he didnt care about the rumours or insults that the kids whispered about him. What triggered the boy was when an older kid grabbed the lunch (Y/n) made for him. He promised her he would behave and eat his lunch, the boy and his friends laughed.
He remembered how his sister rushed into the office and apologised bowing down to the parents and teachers. She endured every insult while bowing and keeping her pose, the poor six year old feared that he may have upset her. That she would she that he caused nothing but trouble wherever he went.
“Are you okay Shu?” She asked bending down to his height placing a hand on his head “You cheek is swollen…” he should have know that she wouldn’t have been upset, she never showed any anger towards him. “Can you tell me why you hit him?”
“ ….”
“Shu?”
“He throw my lunch… ”
She let out a soft sigh flicking his forehead which earned her a glare and pout “…idiot”
He shouldn’t have caused trouble, he promised to be good. This was his fault, he watched with tears as (Y/n) continue to stand infront of him
Blocking their father from getting close to him, she looked determined and refused to move. “I WARNED YOU TWO NOT TO CAUSE TROUBLE”
“..I told Shuji it okay to stand up for himself”
He hated his father, how he seemed to hate the two of them, how he never bother to check up on them. He despised how kids in his class had caring fathers and received hugs from their mothers. He hated that (y/n) had to work to care for the two of them, she was always busy making sure that there was food. She didn’t hang out with friends like other girls, she always made sure to be by his side.
Shinichiro stared at the girl in shock watching her take down a guy twice her size. "I told you to fuck off" she said boredly staring at the rest of the group. She had come out of no where while he was cornered by a group, told them to move and the one had grabbed her wrist. She had ordered that the male let her go or she'd break his nose, when he laughed and to her to try it. She sighed punching his nose causing the male to stumble back.
When another guy came up to her grabbing her shoulder, she grabbed his wrist twisting them while ordering the other to leave or they'll get hurt. While the male hissed in pain trying to escape her hold on his wrist.
Shinichiro moved to help the girl fight of the group but he was grabbed by the leader mocking him for letting a girl fight for him. Shinichiro choked swinging his wrist punching the leader.
(Y/n) had a reputation around school of seeming cold and distant, she didnt want to risk involving anyone with what was going on at her house. That when a boy started following her around asking her questions after she pulled him out from getting hurt in a fight. He had some ridiculous hairstyle and walked around acting like a delinquent.
“So what class are you in?”
“…”
“…are you in any clubs?”
“What’s going on with your hair”
“Eh! I think it looks great”
“It looked stupid ”
He let out a gasp grabbing his heart, she shook her head at his behaviour. The ringing of her phone brought her back. “Hello”
“I’m sorry, I’ll be right over ” She hung up and turned towards the boy. “I’m sorry I have to go, stay out of trouble” she said before running off.
“Wait I never got your name!” Called Shinichiro out watching the girl run off, he huffed pouting he didn’t get the mysterious girl’s name. She was definitely interesting and he might have to ask Takeomi about the girl. Maybe he knew her?

Blue Flames of a One Night Stand
(18+) Dabi + (y/n fem)
part 2 part3 part4
www.wattpad.com
It was never meant to be like this. The one-night stand should have ended hours ago but some how the sun rose with you tucked in his arms. He just wanted a night to unwind with a few drinks and a quick release but somehow you came home with him and spent the night.
The light flowed in from the window between the holes of the old curtains. Your body curled up under his blanket trapping one of his arms underneath you like a pillow. Dabi took his free arm from over you to rub the sleep out of his eyes. After blinking a few times to adjust to the early afternoon light his gaze traveled over your sleeping form. Dabi smiled at himself seeing your ruined mascara streamed down your cheeks. Memories of your screams flicked in his mind.
“Fuck.” He whispered to himself. Dabi fell back onto the bed tossing is arm over his face with a low grumble. Out of the corner of his eye he sees you still peacefully sleeping. Slowly he dragged his palm over his face in frustration.
Slowly he pulled his arm out from under you trying not to wake you. As you rolled away the blanket fell away from your chest revealing your perked nipples. Deep bite marks over your chest and neck reminded him of his actions last night in his drunken haze. Dabi’s cock twitched at the sight of you exposed. He softly watched you sleep on his bed for a moment before snapping himself out of his trance. Slowly he pulled the blanket back up over you before sliding out of bed.
Enjoying the feeling of the cold floor beneath his feet he took a step only to feel silky fabric bush across his toes. Looking down to the floor was the dress he burned off your body. A sinister smiled graced his lips at the memory of how the dress hugged your curves until his blue flames helped him rip the fabric from your body. He let out a groan as he picked up the burned fabric. When he stood back up, he began to feel painfully aware of his arousal. Letting out a huff of air from his nose Dabi made his way to the bathroom.
With a twist of the lock, he felt secure with in the small space. Quickly discarding your mini dress into the tiny trash bin. He was not sure what you would wear when you got up, but he tried to convince himself that it was not his problem. You should never have let him burn your clothes in the first place if you did not have anything else to wear home. His sadistic side absolutely loved the way his blue flames danced across your skin and how you moaned when he would use his quirk.
Leaning over the sink his eyes slowly trailed up to meet his reflection in the mirror. Your bright lipstick smeared over his own lips with matching kiss marks down his neck and chest. A ring of faint lipstick remained at the base of his shaft. Giving himself a slow stroke of his length with only the memory of how you took him deeply in your mouth in the dirty bathroom of the club last night. As his eyes made it back up to the mirror, he noticed that in the same lipstick color on his body was your name and number on the glass. Dabi checked darkly to himself knowing he had completely forgotten your name if he even bothered to ask at all in his drunken haze.
Dabi stopped his hand to reach for the shower faucet. Quickly stepping inside the shower to enjoy the cold water running over his burned shin. Dabi placed his left had on to the tile wall as his right began to stroke along his hardened length. The metal of his piercing rolled along his palming action. He began to breath deeply into the cold water that flowed over his face. Quiet curses and deep grunts escaped his lips at the memory of your body bousing on his old mattress. With a few final strokes his chest hummed as he found his release. Dabi’s mind began to clear as he watched the water swirl down the drain. With a deep breath he finally grabbed the soap and washed away the possessive love marks and dried bodily fluids you left on his body.
With a feeling of slight mental clarity Dabi walked over to his secondhand dresser. Aloud squeak from opening the drawer caused you to stir. Realizing you are finally waking up he quickly pulls out a pair of black jeans and old white shirt. Once clothed he reached to the top of the dresser for his cigarettes placing one in his mouth to light with his quirk.
Slowly he walks over to the bed. Seeing your bare bottom peeking out from the sheets with is handprint lightly branded into your skin began to fill his head with pleasant thoughts. ‘She left her number maybe she wants to meet again. Of course, she does, sluts like her love getting dicked down.’ The thought of you staying slowly turned into thoughts of his villainous life. ‘Wonder how that dusty Tomura would feel about her? He would want to share her as if that dusty virgin would know what to do with a piece of ass like that.’
The bed squeaked as he sat on the edge next to you. Leaning an arm over your body to hover over you he let out a puff of smoke away from your sleeping form. “Going to wake up at some point doll face?” Your face scrunched up as you let out a groggy groan soon to peak up at him with one eye.
“Coffee?” your voice comes out strained and scratchy.
“Ya, I got some,” there was a sarcastic chuckle in his voice, “anything else you want princess?” With a satisfied moan a smile crosses your face. You stretch your arms above your head and wiggle your body beneath him. You reach your hand over to clasp the hand Dabi held the cigarette with and pulled his cigarette into your mouth while he held it for a drag.
“Shower if you don’t mind.” You lock eyes with the bright blue that stole your attention all night. You were not sure what he was thinking but you enjoyed how intensely he was staring down at you.
“Water only runs cold princess.”
“Well after last night I could use a little cooling off.” Dabi frimly grabbed your ass cheek with a satified hum in his throat. You could feel a low heat from his palm made from his quirk. After a moment he release you. Standing up from the bed he put out his cigarette in the ash tray on the windowsill next to the bed. He started to walk to the door and your eyes followed his movement.
“If your going to eye fuck me this early in the morning, we could just go another round.” Dabi glanced up and down your barley covered body with a grip on his belt buckle as if he were waiting for you to invite him back over.
“Shower first need to get your kids out of my hair.” As Dabi tried to hold back his laughter you managed to roll out of his bed. His blue eyes drank in every curve of your naked body in the light of the day. The bruises, hickeys, scratches, bites and burns only made you look more attractive to him. “See something you like?” You say with a sarcastic tone as you bend over slowly giving him a full view of your ass while you pick up you purse.
“Just admiring my handy work babe.” You slowly strut across the room lust filled blue eyes follow your every step. You arch up on your toes to place a chase kiss on his lips. Tossing your bag over your shoulder you walk into his bathroom.
You walk into the kitchen hair wet and up in a messy bun. Glasses on your face because you needed to rest your eyes after wearing contacts late into the night. Thin short pink running short and a tight white tank top with matching thin flimsy sandals. With each step closer to Dabi the smell of coffee makes you let out a satisfied hum.
“So, your name is Dabi?” You had noticed he taken your lipstick and wrote on the bathroom mirror as you had to what you assumed to be his name. Dabi slowly turned around with a mug to his lips grunting confirmation to your question. He handed you a mug of black coffee and took the moment you were distracted by your beverage to take in your appearance.
He was surprised that you had a change of clothes in your small bag, but his face showed no emotion. Part of him was hoping you would walk out in only a towel or the hoodie he left on the bed for you. Dabi thought you looked so normal and innocent in your day clothes making him wonder why you were here with him. You made the aggressive advances on him the night before and now he was starting to question your motives. The bitter taste to his coffee was nothing to the bitter feeling of being used. He sucked down another gulp of coffee trying to harden his already shielded heart. Dabi placed his mug down, crossed his arms over his chest then lean back on the counter.
“(Y/n) right?” His tone was dark and sarcastic when he spit out your name. You felt an unpleasant chill run down your spine. Trying to place the mug down without showing how intimidated you were by his sudden change in attitude was difficult. You smiled tightly and hummed out a yes to show he had your full attention.
Dabi enjoyed the fear in your eyes it gave him a deep satisfaction. He pushed himself away from the kitchen counter in two quick steps he was toe to toe with you. His height difference was clear as he looked down at you. His grip was tight on the tip of your chin when he pulled your gaze up to meet his. He leaned in close with an intimidating look in his blue eye.
“What is a sweet little thing like you doing playing round in a hole in the wall bar with a thug like me?”
You felt frozen in place as you tried to steady your breathing. You could hear your heart pounding in your ears. It was obvious you planned to sleep with someone you even packed extra clothes. You could not blame him for the question, but it was the deep threatening tone that he asked in that made you want to choose your next words carefully.
“So, what is it, were you board and needing someone to spice up your perfect life? Or do you get off on using people?” You try to respond but only a few low squeaks escape. Your throat feels try and legs weak as you try to look away from his sharp glare.
When Dabi goes to release your chin, he pushes you head to the side nearly knocking you off balance. With a huff he is back to leaning nest to the counter arms folded over his chest. He will not even look at you and the sour expression on his face fills you with guilt.
“Just go.” With those harsh words you felt tears filling your eyes.
You storm off to his bedroom to grab the last of your things. While in there you take the time to mentally collect yourself. This was not how things were meant to be. You needed to tell him the truth even if he did not believe you or care what you say. A rising determination was fueling you to go back out and tell him why you hooked up with him last night. Straightening up your stance to toss your bag over your shoulder as you turn around you find Dabi filling up the door frame and blocking your way out. Your body slightly jerks back in response to not expecting him to be behind you.
“Umm Dabi,” you stuttered shyly as you spoke up, “Look its not like either of us were planning to have more than a one night.” He squinted his eyes at you but said nothing. Inside he was slightly offended after how softly he thought of you this morning but over all he did agree with you. “Yes I did pursue you .. rather hard last night but I can explain.” You began to twiddle your finders nervously along the hem of your shirt. Dabi still stay silent, but the quirked eyebrow seemed to you as an indication to continue. “Well, you kind of look like a villain.” You were not wrong, but Dabi still felt like he had a right to be offended plus he was starting to enjoy watching you squirm.
“Is that supposed to make me feel better being called a villain because why? My scars?” Dabi stood tall in the doorway radiating off an intimidating presence.
“Ok I know that came out wrong, but I needed someone to ruin my reputation.” Well, that was an unexpected answer. Dabi felt taken back as he tried to understand what kind of a woman would willing let a man ruin her reputation. Dabi took slow strides towards you closing the distance and still blocking you from the door. You backed away in a slow shuffle as he approached until the back of your knees met the bed nearly knocking you off balance. Dabi leaned his head down slightly and placed a firm grip on your chin tilting your face up at him.
“I -I just wanted my ex-boyfriend to leave me alone.”
“And how did I fit into that little plan of yours.”
“We broke up 6 months ago, but he won’t let me move on keep saying I’m good for his reputation because he’s some mid rank hero.” That peaked Dabi’s interest. He loosed his grip on your chin and took a slight step back wordlessly signaled for you to continue explaining with a flick of his hand.
“We broke up 6 months ago, but it was more like I dumped him because he is an abusive jerk.” You took a deep breath to try and suppress tears of the memories of your past relationship. “It got to the point I wasn’t allowed to have friends because I needed to always be available to him even though he was cheating all the time. When I called him out on the cheating, he just claimed they were very affectionate fans.” Your tone got bitter the more you spoke. “So even after I broke up with him and moved, he would still fallow me or have another hero friend follow me. He broke into my home and would constantly call me even when I was at work. He continued to tell people we were together and because other people never saw the abuse I was labeled as an ungrateful girlfriend.” You could no longer hold in the tears your voice was starting to crack from crying.
“Shhh Shhh- princess don’t waste anymore of your tears on a guy like that.” He tried hard to make his words sound sincere. Dabi knew all too well how corrupt heroes were and so he quickly thought of a way to help make you look more ‘ruined’. At least he would get another taste of you before ridding himself of unnecessary drama. He really did not need more heroes following him around but if his idea worked, even a little, there might not be one following you. It was a win, win, to him.
“You need to save all those tears for the punishment I’m about to give you.”
“Punishment?”
“That right, punishment. You have been a very naughty girl using people like that for your own needs.”
“But I- “
“No buts.” He guides you slowly to lay back on the bed with your feed dangling off at the knees over the edge. “You need to show me how sorry you are for what you have done and take your punishment. Got that?”
“Yes…sir.”
“Good girl.”
Dabi lightly nudged you to sit on the bed by putting his hand atop your shoulders. The bed made a loud creaking sound as your weight caused it to sink. His fingers slowly traced down your body until he finally placed his hands on either one of your thighs. As he leaned in, he pushed your legs apart. His nose ran up the length of your clothed slit the sensation caused you to let out a breathy moan.
“Wet already and I’ve barely touched you. I told you doll face this is a punishment.” Without wasting a moment Dabi smacked his hand hard on to the top of your feminine parts. You let out a loud sharp scream from the sharp pain. He quickly found your clit and started rubbing slow circles adding pleasure to the dulling pain you felt. His free hand crawled up towards the elastic band of your shorts hooking his fingers under the elastic. With a few shimmies of your shorts your bottom half was soon bare.
“Ooo!” Dabi leaned in and kissed the red handprint he left on your sensitive flesh. For a split second he felt guilty about how hard he hit you but the thoughts of what he was still planning to do was causing a sinister smile to form through his stapled face. “I’m starting to think you enjoy pain.”
“No, it’s not like that I..”, Unable to finish your sentence as a wave of pleasure was building up in you. Dabi no longer cared what you had to say he was more focused on the moans he could pull from you.
Your chest was slight blocking your view of fully seeing Dabi’s face, but you could feel his fingers slowly pumping into you. His lips and tongue swirled and sucked on your hood and clit. The combination was quickly pushing you towards an orgasm. After how long the two of you were intimate the night before your body was already sensitive.
You started to moan out what you though were words saying how you were about to cum but suddenly everything stopped. You sat up slightly in shock to see Dabi licking his finger of your juices with a sinister smirk. It was very quickly obvious he was not going to finish.
“I told you this was a punishment. Now get your things and get out.” With those cold words he stood up with your shorts in his hand. He lazily tossed them at you so dumbfounded by what just happened you nearly loss balance catching them. Dabi walked away from you as you put your clothes back on. He pulled out a cigarette and leaned near the partly opened window. Everything about him was cold again and it twisted you up inside far more than before.
Despite the aching in your shorts and the twisting pain in your chest you managed to gather your bag without crying again. You looked over at Dabi hoping to see some kind of emotion from him, but he turned his gaze away from you. With quick strides you made your way across his tiny apartment and out the front door. To make yourself feel a little better you slammed it shut behind you causing the cheep walls to shake.
Your angry pride filled power walk slowed after you made it a few blocked away. Slowly you shuffled to the nearby bus stop and leaned on the street sign. As you waited for the bus you allowed yourself to quietly let out tears. A mix of regret filled you as you replayed the last 24 hours in your mind. “Dabi..”
