Visiting Boulders Beach Penguins Colony, Cape Town, South Africa

Hi Friends, Boulders Beach is famous for the magazines' photoshoots along with a colony of Penguins which does enjoy the time getting photographed in their home. They are all over on this beach and human-beings are not allowed to enter their beach. They do come over to the part where people are bathing in the cold Atlantic Ocean in Cape Town, South Africa. You have to pay certain entrance fees to come to check out the Penguins from up close and this beach is not free at all hence the reason, a lot of magazine shooting takes place at this beach. It was so windy when I last visited that I had to mute the sound as it was all noise. I hope you will enjoy the shots and videos that were done using the Canon 77D DSLR camera. Cheers!!! These penguins roam free at Boulders Beach in Cape Town. The secret is to follow the path down to the beach - don’t stop at the visitors center! We saw hundreds of these little guys and got to be so close to them! Hanging with penguins was just one of so many once in a lifetime experiences I’ve had this week. South Africa is beyond magical and I still can’t believe I’m here. If you haven’t been following along on stories, then you’ve missed so much! Just hangin’ on the beach with my friends! — South Africa is definitely one of our favourite countries in the world. The landscapes are epic and the wildlife seems like it is everywhere. — I really had to reach back into the vault for this shot. It was taken just after we cycled 12,000 km from Cairo to Cape Town and we were enjoying a little R&R afterwards. — We rented a car and headed to Simonstown, where we heard there were penguins. — Penguins in South Africa? Right! — Sure enough there they were. South Africa Cape Town Day 1-2

...prima di dirigerci verso Boulders beach. Quest’ultima spiaggia ospita una colonia di 2100 pinguini che si possono avvicinare attraverso una passerella di legno. Il pinguino quando nasce é coperto di peli per resistere al freddo poi crescendo perde il folto pelo e prende le sembianze del famoso pinguino che tutti conosciamo. Troppo simpatici.

Rientriamo a Cape Town direzione Green Point e Waterfront passando dalle strade centrali commerciali di Loop Street, long Street e Bree Street gremite di negozi e centri di ristorazione. Parcheggiamo nei pressi del Cape Town Stadium costruito a forma di un cappello tradizionale africano avvolto da una rete di teflon.

Con una passeggiata lungo il porto arriviamo al Victoria e Alfred Waterfront che ospita un gran numero di attrattive pensate su misura per il turista. Passaggio obbligato al Greenmarket Square mercato di souvenir e di oggetti di artigianato.

Subito fuori le statue di Nelson Mandela, Gandhi e altri due premi nobel, anticipano la clock Tower i quali rintocchi alla precisa ora serviva agli abitanti per sincronizzare gli orologi.

Cape Town: moderna e ospitale una delle più belle città al mondo con degli ottimi vini da assaporare.
