Ring Ring! I'm stealing words out of my friend's mouths again and calmly reshaping them!
The Astral- (According to the A&A gang) is semi-subjective. I wanna kinda dig into that.
So, I firmly believe and uphold that the astral (and via extension, magic) comes with rules. But those rules are more.. specific?
Time invested Brings Quality. You cannot destroy or create energy. Everything feels.
Stuff like that? hard rules. you not noticing them doesn't mean they aren't true. But like.. how magic works? I know a lot of people on various sites are like “don't use X for Y” but all you're doing is asking an archetype for a subconcept, and then using that subconcept as a channel for your energy. If someone is like “Lemon Sour. No like Sour. Sour is Hex!” THAT'S FINE! the only thing they miss out on is the cultural egregore of what lemons are used for in witchery. And that's TRADITIONAL CRAFT to me. What about the act of biting, or hiding? thousands upon thousands of ways to lawyer such a deeply intricate target. Like.. it's complex enough there can be two “Avatars of Magic” because one might be magic, but the other might be the spellcaster.
I know pretty well where my lines are, and that's why I judge so specifically. I try to keep a broad idea of what magic really is and can do.

“Irresistible Resistance and Where It Comes From” (Change Management Course Submitted Paper)
Note: Clearing up storage thus why not share it here? Hope you find this insightful. I did this paper once for a class I had last year. Reading this today makes me cringe because I can’t write or do things like this any better now, I guess. (*cringing humility hanging on a debris hahahaha*)
IRRESISTABLE RESISTANCE AND WHERE IT COMES FROM”
The paramount twists and turns of modernization has drawn out changes from various scopes of life that people nowadays find themselves either in delight or anxiety. Carrying the badge of change as a constant companion in life still doesn’t disqualify that human instinct has the tendency to pull a mask of acceptance in the earliest point when change is introduced. And that after a considerate amount of time, or even immediately right after putting this mask on, it eventually slips off in in either confusion or defiance just when change is causing internal – and even external – pandemonium. With this, acknowledging that as humans, we cannot just whisk away into nothingness.
But to prevent being whisked away into nothingness, various companies, organizations, and even small groups of people have already been aware that the need to carry on this badge of change is crucial in order to keep up and stay playing in the game of life. Corporate survival is only attainable if this badge is worn with pride and might. Change has turned itself as a tempting luxury, promising greater advancement, influence, and gross, that companies have been devising ways in incorporating it over various twists and turns of their nearly archaic systems.
But even with the wonderful advantages change has in store, people still find themselves declining support and developing a beat of struggle against change. Resistance then grew as a trend. Resist. Resist. Resist. Resist in the most obvious way, resist in the most silent manner, resist by slowing down, resist by expressing a feat of quitting, resist by pinning down all the negative things that could possibly happen, resist even with a smile, resist after all the phases are even completed. And this has been irresistibly occurring across all levels and kinds of organizations or companies.

Here lies the challenge for the Change Agent: prepare to defend the plan to change by understanding first that resistance is normal and that it has a source. Just as preventive care is always better than a curative one in the medical field, successful change management relies in the crucial preparatory stages wherein resistance must be strategically handled before it evolves into an irremediable problem. Change agent’s first quest: Find the sources of possible resistance. Where can this unavoidable, irresistible state of resistance come from? What roots should be unearthed? Below are three top sources of resistance that we should be mindful of if we want to guarantee successful changes in the future.
 Fear of the Unknown
As complex as human beings are, people, even at work, would rather have a clear idea of what’s about to happen. Something unanticipated could cause anxiety and stress. Unpredictability has always been equated with unreliability. Not being able to predict what’s to come takes people’s control out of hand and having unreliable information on what’s about to come could draw mistrust, loss of commitment and double-mindedness of employees.
They may say that ignorance is a bliss, but inside the workplace, or generally speaking, ignorance mutually brings out either a positive or a negative outcome. And as innate as it is that people fear the unknown, people also has the tendency to dwell on the negative side – being pessimistic – just so they can create a defensive shield that may or may not even help them at all. Fear of the unknown drives people to anxiety and anxiety drives people to use defense mechanisms and most of these only precedes resistance.
           Loss of security or stability
Changes in the workplace could involve office space relocation, reorganization, use of newer technologies and other alterations that the company would deem necessary to upgrade and excel its developments. Drawing forth from the first identified source of resistance, fear of the unknown, follows this sense of loss whenever employees suddenly doubt their security and stability in the workplace. It has been noted that employees are adversely interested in changes if their place in the company is being threatened and put to a point that their status and rights are unstable and unsecure. And this covers security in job tenure, position and roles, an anticipated promotion or salary raise, and the established work relationships which they are already accustomed with – which are essential factors that determine how they can function and perform effectively and efficiently.
If changes in the company creates self-doubts and threatens their economic status, more so their capabilities, resistance may turn out as an deterrent cover and as much as the changes are foreseen as a way to improve things, these may be questioned and rebutted all together.
  Individual Susceptibility on Change
Levels of resistance exhibited by the employees could vary as each and every one of them has their own predisposition on the concept of change. Some employees may be open to it, some may find it intriguing and others may even perceive it useless. Some may be adaptive to change and see it second to their nature and others may have had traumatic experiences derived from changes which made them totally resistant. We cannot deny the paradox that while change is constant, human personality is constantly deviating itself from one situation to another but it may or may not be fitting to what is expected in the workplace. Past experiences and environmental factors mold each individual on how they perceive and handle their stresses – how they will agree or disagree to the changes set before them in the workplace will be affected by these individual perceptions and demeanor.
Some people are born to enjoy variety while others were meant to enjoy routinary. It’s predisposed and should not be overlooked as a factor that may overrule important decisions of changes in the workplace in the long run.
There are more sources that can ignite the irresistible nature of resistance in the workplace but it is good for the Change Agent to take note of the three sources discussed above, specifically because it is normally experienced by every employee and what better way it is to prevent resistance than to target the very individual who will adjust in the process – the employee? To assure them and clearly define to them the boundaries where change will be applied while placing forth their individual needs as significant elements can help the Change Agent push through with the twists and turns of change and overpower the irresistibility of resistance at the very least.
