Back when I played OT1 the first time the year it came out, my best damage dealer was Cyrus who hit like. 6000-9000 on breaks, during the end game of his final chapter (and Ophelia's final chapter, which now that i think about it i think that fight is why i put the game down back then).

Currently only just started the chapter 3's in this fresh playthrough and I've already made Tressa deal 22,000 damage consistently.

Unrelated but I find it extremely annoying that in both games to get over the damage cap you're forced to drop the 4,630 JP for each character you want to deal high damage with to get all of the support skills for Warrior, and I think that's just. Annoying as shit. The mod I was playing with in 2 that just made Deal More Damage the first Armsmaster skill (and thus available to the entire party as soon as you unlock it) had the right idea. Not the best execution, just due to where the unlock for that job is, but the right idea.

#bought the forbidden blade and shes mastered the warrior class #i could definitely juice her damage more if i gave her both muscle belts i have and maybe some stat boosters #but still a lotta damage #lemon poaya #octopath traveler

the thing with autism right. is i know if i was having a full mental health crisis what i would end up doing is going to the emergency room and being like "hello, my name is (x) birthday (y), um i was hoping to talk to you about potential mental health inpatient care? i'm currently having a mental health crisis and don't think i can be trusted on my own" like if there's one thing i can be sure will live on in me no matter how hard the brainworms try. is my fucking customer service voice

#like itll be busted as fuck because ill be freaking out but you bet ill be sobbing my way through verbally drafting an email #ive done it before‚ like im a frustrated crier and once i start crying i cant turn it off so ive had a couple times where i had a breakdown #at work‚ cried about it a lot‚ and my lead pulled me into a meeting room after i calmed down to check in #and as soon as i started talking it just started again so i had to be like 'sorry th-this is just something m-m-my bod-dy does‚ i-i'm calm #m-mentally but i just c-cant turn this-is off‚ just try to i-ignore HIC it and f-f-focus-s on the w-wwwords‚#(tired of crytyping so just mentally fill it in yourself in everything else i say)#n they offered me more time to chill but im like no really i genuinely am calm‚ i calm down wayyy before my body does its gonna #keep doing this on and off all day‚ it takes hours for it to fully calm down and is on a hair trigger the entire time #so thinking about this will make it kick back up again no matter what unless we talk tomorrow‚ so if youre ok with bearing with me then cool #and theyre like. dang ok and just focused on what i said #or much more recently i was talking to my roommate‚ stopped‚ held up a finger + stood there silently for ten seconds‚#then was like 'sorry about that‚ i think i have to throw up. excuse me for a moment. what was that? oh gotcha yeah i'll message you if i #need anything‚ thank you'#and just typing it out like that it sounds like i was fine and just saw it coming a ways away. however that is not the case #i had had my covid booster and some other vaccine earlier that day‚ lost 5 vials of blood‚ eaten Nothing‚ drank only #acidic-ass apple juice‚ and had just hit my vape too hard #keeping it in once it made its presence known was a feat of will the likes of which have never been seen before #and still my sentences prevail

Soooooooooo guess who started crying in the doctor’s office bc she has to miss her labs tomorrow

#I have COVID apparently #despite testing negative twice before #they think it’s bc my first tests were too close to when symptoms started #but anyway I got told that I absolutely must stay in my room and not leave except for bathroom trips and like. emergencies.#and all I could think was ‘oh no I’m screwed I’m gonna have to miss so many classes’#told my roommates and they said ‘we cannot afford to get COVID. do not leave your room please’.#which. yeah. I also cannot afford to get COVID. and yet here we are.#my roommate brought up the food my mom got delivered for me so that’s nice #I’ll probably be full for a while and I got some juice so I could take my meds #which is nice bc I haven’t eaten since yesterday morning and I wasn’t hungry until like. noon today.#this does partially explain the intense brain fog yesterday #I spent hours just staring at the wall shivering trying to form a coherent thought #went to take a bath and almost fell asleep in it #and then had to crawl out because I was shaking too hard to stand up on the wet surface.#all of this to say #wear your masks and get your booster shots if at all possible #I was behind on my boosters and look at where we are now #Infected With The Plague #this is supposedly a mild variant and yet I feel like death #at least I can think better today. got more sleep anyway. been crying a lot tho. and coughing. and shivering.#Fuckign Miserable
