So years ago now, like over a decade, my parents life thrifted an arc copy of a sci fi book in which *evil flying manta rays* were plotting *world domination*. There may have been something about alien interference to increase the manta ray intelligence. It was like a low budged sci-fi channel original in print.

Does anyone in this app know what this book was? It was returned to the thrift also about a decade ago.

I was talking to a friend about Cave Finders and they asked me something very critical... are there any animals? The answer is... no not really. Just a few spiders and some others. But there could be more!

hiiii!! there is book where the main character is a girl and it's set in a future where the earth is dying and she is having a crisis abt whether or not to go on the ship that will travel the stars at the speed of light (dont remember why) and while she's having this crisis in a park an elderly lady sits next to her and convinces her to go because it'll be an adventure and she goes and somehow travels for so long that she witnesses the death of the universe while never aging/aging slowly and then the universe loops back again and by the time it's the same day she left on the ship SHES THE OLD LADY IN THE PARK??? i can only remember the bench scene really because it stuck with me but it was def published in the late 1990s or early 2000s and had a pink cover this is my white whale of a book
