So mama how’s your life going? (I’ve been prayer for you) (hope you’re doing doing okay)

I'm doing okay, things have been crazy and I had a scare at work about potentially losing my job, but we got it settled. i had to ask for time off because my pseudo-grandfather fell down the stairs and broke his hip (he's in his 90s) and he wasn't going to get released without a caretaker. Luckily, he ended up going to a rehabilitation clinic instead of home with me, because I was scared about how to take care of him. he's recovering now and back to walking, and he gets out of the hospital tomorrow, but my boss wasn't too pleased with the idea of me taking time off for more than a few days.

Other than that situation though, I've just been writing, doing some drawing and plodding along!

How are you though, my Bonnie Bonnet? I haven't heard from you in a good bit!

actually on the verge of tears thinking about how after calypso's birthday ed must have woken up wrapped in Stede's arms, all soft and warm and safe. He got to watch Stede sleep and listen to his breathing... and then eventually he must have decided he wanted to do something nice for Stede, to make Stede feel just as loved as he felt in that moment!!!! And im just thinking about him carefully untangling himself from Stede's arms and sneaking out of bed, careful not to wake Stede up and going to make him breakfast!!! And even though the breakfast was kind of a jumble of random stuff it was made with so much love and I just,,..,,.., ARGHHG AUGGGHHHH OOOOHHHHH!!!!

I'm sorry guys, no fluff today.

I started to working on this comic after the 3rd episode was released. Then I abandoned the sketches for more than half a year, until now.  I was thinking about the time between getting back on the board of The Revenge and the scene when Stede goes to see Ed’s body. And the second thing I had on my mind were the letters. We know Stede is a good captain, so I believe he helped the crew with things that needed to be done at the moment. Also, he definitely needed a moment to cope with the whole situation.  When it comes to letters, my headcanon was that he was writing them to Ed as a sort of daily ritual since he ran back to his family, and he did it even he knew Ed's body was on the board. It was a kinda heavy theme for me, and I was not sure if I would finish it, so I hope you will enjoy it.
