Long time, no read.
I haven't written anything on this blog for ages... *Nostalgically scrolling down my posts & remembering all the good times I had as a track runner.*
After a pretty successful 2016 summer season, I decided to take a break from track for a month or two, because I wanted to finally diagnose the pain and tension in my hamstrings I’ve been training and competing with for a year or so.
Well, no success. No “doctor” could diagnose me (or maybe they just didn’t take me serious). At that time (August 2015) I also created my HIIT workout “BodyBurn” and started working as a personal trainer. I was lacking time and energy, so I stopped investing it into track. It was hard for me to accept that fact.
The tension in my still hamstrings persevered, while I started hitting trails and fell in love with long runs, nature, peace of the forests, mud, challenging terrains... Long story short, I found a new LOVE. I discovered obstacle course racing.
In this post, I am sharing a video to give you a taste of what it looks like :)

I tried pushing myself harder each round by believing that I was lifting lighter than @bodyrocktv_lisamarie 😂 (Not sure if the "seven and a half on each side" of her dumbbells was lbs or kg! I had 20 lb 'bells.), so I had to at LEAST match her reps totals!
