Bob laughed at the first time you called him squishy he thought it was kinda funny calling him that. I mean- blobs are kinda squishy I guess so it makes sense

He got used to it in the end and he just thinks it's a wholesome harmless nickname nothing to bad.

Sometimes you'll poke his cheek and say "squish" or "squishy" maybe even say "marshmallow blob" and he'll just laugh/chuckle from it.

I feel like he'll only let you or opheebop do things like that. But it's only in a platonic way for you and bob! Like siblings kinda :D

After noticing you've never called him bob again he asks "do you remember my actual name y/n?" Just wanting to know if you've forgotten or not. You nod and you just tell him your used to calling him nicknames now.
