Your post about week 8 just made me realize that ever since the based game has been updating the fnf fandom haven’t been making any original character mods like idk I don’t have twitter so I’m not really updated on the mod community but it’s strange that we are literally getting more original stuff from the game yet the fandom doesn’t want to acknowledge that and continue making mods with characters from popular media or remix mods 

I'VE BEEN SAYING-

And like. This is definitely something I think hasn't happened far longer than just when the base game started updating again. Tbh I'd hazard a guess that it was probably more around 2022/2023 because that's when I remember the last big, really well known OC mod being updated (Graffiti Groovin')

OC mods still exist-- I remember one being released a few months back (Yeahman I think it was called? Although I never played it because it was like four gigabytes or smth like that)

It's just that they don't. Get popular like they used too. If characters like Hex or Carol came out today nobody would give a shit about them unfortunately, unless they were like. Packaged as creepypasta OCs or smth and I think that's really sad

Genuinely I'm curious how this like. Happened? Did everyone just hop on the clout train and decide that making original characters wouldn't get them clicks anymore so they just recycle the same five medias over and over? There were plenty of crossover mods in the early days of the fandom, but there were just as many OC mods, they balanced each other out. Now it's like. Fifteen billion creepypastas and one (1) OC
