in Oklahoma Smokeshow, the song is practically cherry.

Here is just a few examples.

This reminds me a lot of cherry and bob.

She swears he loves him; that hes not all bad, hes just drunk.

But hes always drunk. And she hates that hes drunk. She cant stand when he’s drinking. (3rd lyric.)

When bob was mad, he got the rest of his friends to go look for pony and johnny. They went to kill. (They’re angry and they’re looking for blood.)

They chase after pony and johnny, arriving in bobs blue mustang. (blue pickup truck.)

She was all done up for their date and had nowhere to go but with bob once he found her and marcia. (You've got nowhere to go although you're all gussied up)

Another example is Something In the Orange

The first lyric being when pony and johnny are watching the sunset, not knowing that it will get worse but theres always something there, a sign or a gut feeling.

The second one, johnny saying stay gold and dying. It leaves pony to go insane. He tells people he killed bob and tries to convince himself johnny isnt dead.

this can also be used as that. Its something he cant forget, his best friend is gone. Its driving him insane.

Then he goes and loses another one. Two people he loved were gone and there isnt anything he can do about it.

Some more examples from this song are

The first one, Pony getting reminded of johnny when he sees the sunset, the gold of it. It surrounds him, a constant reminder that he is now gone.

The second one being dallas, losing basically the one thing he truly loved. He doesnt know what hes supposed to do or where he’s supposed to go. That johnny was his other half to him, but to Johnny he was just Dallas.

I dont know of any of this makes sense, but if it does i have a good few more
