The boating lake at Fleetwood. Beyond the bridge is the model yacht lake.

Despite living a stones throw from Sefton Park I seldom visit. This thought struck me as I was driving home one day and realised I needed to use up the remaining frames in my Lomo LC-A. The winding mechanism stuck as I got to the end of the roll and the result where some diptych style multi exposures.

The boating lake dominates the area of the park near Aigburth Road and facilities to hire pleasure boats where present until the late 1970's when cuts to local authority budgets forced the park into somehwta of a decline.

Thursday presented a different aspect. An overnight resurgence of sinus symptoms and refuse collectors adding to the early din, the weather looked as cheerless as I felt.
