her parents darya and ilyas moved to japan when giulia was 12, they run a restaurant that sells traditional kyrgyz food and russian food as well. fatgum was one of their only customers for a bit until he spread the word, then he fell in love with their daughter (they are glad he is their son in law)

giulia's quirk state of matter allows her to change the state of matter of inanimate objects and herself!

Some fun facts and Headcanons about my BNHA(MHA) Oc, Lukah Todoroki(AKA Borealis)

Fun Facts:

Originally, I thought about making a quirk of him, of radiation (he would be a walking nuclear power plant, in which he could make radiation blasts, combining heat + radiation/atomic. And his quirk, just like the plasma quirk, would have the color of his hair that would change and eyes too (when he uses his quirk, and I also thought, his veins glow too while he uses a limb of the body carrying a projectile/blast of radiation beam), and what I would change in the radiation quirk, is that he would be sterile, and he would also wear a mask and gloves so as not to contaminate anyone (even his girlfriend Burnin, (She kind of cheats, even though he warns her not to get contaminated by his radiation., in my radioactive Lukah AU, she has a green flame quirk, Her green flames, in this au, have a temperature of 2,000°C).

In this AU too, Radioactive Lukah needs to eat about 12,500 calories every day, and with each meal, he needs to ingest a pill, which makes him transform all the food he eats and the drink he consumes, transforms it into plutonium/uranium, many find it strange that he ingests this, however it serves as fuel for him. He only takes one pill while he is eating, every 20 days, and it does him not harm him.

His radiation quirk would have two stages, the first stage, which would be normal, would be the green color, the radiation in green color, it releases a lot of radiation, however thanks to his hero costume, and his containment items, this prevents radiation from leaking, except when he is sweating, drooling, bleeding or crying, he would be releasing radiation. And if he is not wearing containment items (in casual clothes), people may experience severe headaches, nausea and may have radiation poisoning effects.

The second way, of his quirk (which would be his total awakening), is that instead of green, it becomes blue (I was inspired by Godzilla's atomic breath, I love it so much!), The radiation doesn't become quite as cool, but it does become hotter and more destructive, reaching the level of 9,500°C. However, he can only activate this mode, in moments of rage, if he has saved his calorie reserve for this. It would be a version of the blue super Saiyan, but a radioactive/atomic version.

He is resistant to his own radiation and radiation poisoning.

Just like the plasma quirk, he knows how to handle his quirk well, especially since he discovered that he can fly with his quirk.

In this AU, I also thought about when he breathed CO2, a little more toxic air would come out of him every time he exhaled, and whoever was nearby without a mask would suffer from coughing and Severe migraines, which is why he always wears a mask... And the fact that he wears gloves is to prevent him from contaminating anything with the radiation that comes from them.

His footprints and fingerprints always glow in the dark, and also, in his quirk's full awakening mode (atomic blue mode), it makes his entire Muscles/bones(of ALL his body) in Full glow(To give you an idea, it would be like Teka's GODMODE, Oc from ackerbang on Instagram, I love her art)

Originally also... I thought he was a humanoid volcano(Volcano AU) let's say, he had a quirk similar to Teka's, but instead of being Russian, he was Hawaiian/Indonesian, and he would have Hands/wrists and shins/feet, hair also in obsidian purple (color code #110d1d), and with orange details, because it would be a mix between obsidian/lava running through his body, he would also have a GODMODE(Like Teka), but he part of his body would glow electric blue, and make his muscles/bones glow completely, he would have access to more lava manipulation (through the Earth's core), and he would be Very strong. His eyes and hair color remain the same (only his hair changes color, due to excessive use of his quirk), but his eye color remains bright lava blue (#2d5069)

Headcanons:

Lukah visited his mother every 2 weeks, he brought lavender with him, as it is a sign of his favorite flowers since he was a child.

Enji tried to train him forcibly, but it was at that moment that he awakened his quirk, and it caused a big shock and burn in Enji's arm, which made Enji scared and proud at same time.

Lukah went to visit his mother at age 18 for the first time, when it was 1 year after he graduated from UA, he cried, because he remembered, how his adoptive mother treats him, and even he Having no memories of his biological parents, he accepted his adoptive family with much love.

After Lukah's mission was over, the villains didn't suspect that he was a hero (especially Twice and Toga). Lukah made a promise to Touya that he wouldn't tell Endeavor, who saw him, and Lukah told Touya that his "father" would know the day Dabi truly revealed himself as Touya.

Lukah stayed for 3 years as a Pro Hero, then began acting as a vigilante, at Endeavor's agency, where he met Burnin, and Burnin began to take an interest in him, and the two started to like each other (romantically).

Lukah gave Burnin an engagement ring on her birthday (when he was 22), and Burnin almost cried over the gift.

I'm thinking about making a dialogue of a gender swapped AU involving Burnin and Lukah, especially when the two met for the first time(The relationship of the two in the opposite gender is Tall Girl Short boy and Amazon and short guy, an example couple that would be them, in the opposite gender, would be Fix It Felix and his wife Calhoun).

No matter the AU (Radioactive, Volcano), Lukah's eyes will always glow, it's a detail that I always like a lot, and I like glowing eyes (as a form of intimidation).

I have three planned AUs of Lukah: Normal(Plasma), Radioactive, Volcano and Genderbend.

The main difference between these four AUs is that in the AU where he has the volcano quirk, it is his ethnicity that changes, and what also changes is his story when he was young, in these three AUs... And... In the genderbend AU, I was thinking of, let's say, Fem!Lukah, she who decided to become a heroine, to follow a path far from being a model (like her adoptive mother Enko and her Adoptive maternal grandfather Takeo), and in this AU she meets Male!Burnin in the AU, and Burnin, as a short guy, he is enchanted by Fem!Lukah's muscles, height and unusual beauty(Love at first sight XD)

Lukah in his normal version (male), has a feminine appearance, but in the genderbend version, he has a masculine appearance, and not a genderbend version, I was kind of inspired by the character from Yeonwoo's innocence: Kang Haesol(It's an excellent Manhwa, I highly recommend it).

[BNHA] Maya’s Debut Chapter 2 part 2 Maya demonstrates her quirk by throwing the ball as far as she can. A certain someone has mixed feelings about the possibilities of her quirk… Phew this took a long time 💀💀 what’s new right? With the exception of the very first panel, all backgrounds are done by me. Even Present Mic’s quirk announcement, which I’m most proud of 😎

Also I've been remarked that fire is not matter, it's a form/state of matter. So I just wanna clear up: Maya can transform into anything she can touch and feel.

'Matter absorption' was the best title I could find to describe what she can do. Her body transforms into matter, in addition of certain forms of matter, such as liquids and plasma. Gas is the only state of matter she can't absorb. She also can't absorb energy (e.g., electricity). So long as she can feel the material or element, she can absorb it.

Anyway, I've posted all the parts I have done so far! So now my instagram and tumblr are in sync. Posts from here on out will be muuuuuch slower LMAO. I have a difficult relationship with my art and yet I have very ambitious ideas 💀

basically had an oc for forever ever since i got into the show so YEARS ago and changed her design 100000000x… i had her quirk, her backstory and everything sorted with her lore figured out with her relationships and everything, but now im doubting its uniqueness and actual capabilities and idk if its actually enjoyable for anyone but me and my silly daydreams. so my goobers please help me.

🎶 either i stick with her original quick of Acoustokinesis - basically manipulating sound and having sonic screams, i use to think she would sing and scream it at people but a lil impractical- the only problem is i want to give her some capabilities outside of just haha silly scream

i know i want her quirk to be linked to her emotions for ✨LORE✨ reasons (i can expand if ppl wanna hear) maybe with misophonia having emotional triggers to sound as she is a very apathetic character at the beginning due to this factor

it would also make some sense lore wise since it is a like President Mic (can expand later on) although lacks that uniqueness in that sense unlike other ocs

OR

🩸some sort of blood quirk where she can formulate plasma into weapons (key problem with the original is i wanna give her pretty weapons BUT could just have Mei make them…since they’re gay for eachother 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩) but she’d be like tugging on ‘heart strings’ stopping people’s blood flow causing crushing pains and when hitting opponents using their blood in attacks like water benders.

this would also make some sense as in my au toga is her childhood best friend and ends up at UA with them. so something in common?? but it just feels overdone

but i need her quirk to be useful having good capabilities she also doesn’t use it to begin with being underestimated by her fellow classmates as well as a fear of hurting fellow classmates with her volatile emotions which works well with unexpected screams of raw emotion

so they’re name is Aspen Yumiyai, she had a really fucked up childhood until the age of 7, (but shes my bbg) her father being on the run ever since, yet she continues to wake up in the night the fluorescent white lights and white tiled walls flashing in her vision as she was pushed on a stretcher down the corridor REDACTED. she has two metal robotic legs with a sarcastic demeanour and a bit of a hater and judged but hey who isn’t. she’s your favourite queer persons favourite queer person. she was sent to a hero training school due to her mothers worries about her quirk where she met Himiko Toga, the two becoming very close friends very quickly. Aspen has extremely strong physical fighting style using her legs to take an offensive stance but limits herself sometimes by not using her quirk only using her physical body and upper body strength to take on opponents yet struggles against offensive and long range quirks otherwise. furthermore, they were recommended to UA by REDACTED the pro hero being highly commendable within her fighting style and overall ability as a hero especially when she uses her quirk having a full scholarship. but oh the weight it places on her, the weight of being a hero, the weight of the unknown

Entry number 2 for my series of "my take on the bnha characters or at least some of them", we got Uravity!

As per usual, the headcanons are under read more

- Uraraka's parents had gotten into their situation due to a financial contract they made with a shady person once their company started to take off in popularity, the person in question was none other than Re-Destro, whom scammed the married couple, after his arrest and end of the war, various contracts related to these scams were exposed, including Uraraka's parents', leading to them recovering the money and having a more comfortable life, Ochako never stopped working hard tho, still sending a portion of her earning to her mom and dad so they can save up to enjoy themselves at a restaurant, a beach, or anything of that sort;

- after Ochako gets used to use her quirk for unlimited time, without feeling nauseated, she starts using zero gravity whenever and for any situation, this however has led to her accidentally dropping items from her hands as if she was still under her quirk's effect, leading to her being confused or embarrassed;

- As pro hero, he has a special vehicle for traveling between cities, states, even countries, called the "Air tearer", a powerful jet that can reach huge velocities, made specifically for Uravity as a means of transportation with her quirk in mind, this jet however is mostly not used that often, only In cases of emergency, she wants to save up on gas use;

- her and Toga's relationship bloomed in the war but truly flourish afterwards, The two girls wouldn't waste anytime on acting sweet and lovingly with one another, specially because Ochako is a source of comfort for Toga. However, when absent, Toga would be a real menace to Uraraka's classmates, except for Bakugou, she feels like the two are really similar, although by extension he had to say that Izuku was off limits;

-speaking of him, Ochako confessed to him in the hospital while recovering from her wounds, under the effects of anesthesia, after getting that told by Deku, she apologizes profusely as she intended for that to never be said to him, but he says that he has felt the same, but much like her, it was a misplaced attraction, what others assumed was love, was just admiration and a want to be like the other, but since neither have ever experienced a relationship of that sort, both assumed it was love, however, the recovery period gave them a lot of time to think, and to realize they work better as best friends;

- Uraraka has made various visits to many space stations around Japan, mostly due to wanting to experience the training a astronaut goes through so it could help her with her quirk, not only that, she was later called to assist in said trainings for simulations on zero gravity, also leading to her joining a female only group of researches to a trip to Mars, she ended up getting a mineral they found there after her, the Uravitanion, a rare type of quartz only found on Mars that is gets lighter on earth but heavier on Mars, as well as the property of glowing once someone touches it like a plasma ball.

Summary: An AU in which Toji follows his instincts and bails on round two against Gojo, once he realizes the Gojo brat underwent some kind of evolution instead of dying. By chance, he stumbles on a guy he suspects can see curses, and has an interesting ability (Regen Quirk!Hisui). He uses Megumi’s shikigami to expose him.

Takes place a few years after the Star Plasma Vessel/Hidden Inventory Arc.

So... My Oc (Todoroki's older adoptive brother)There are two quirks that I'm unsure about, which could be his quirk, being the two:

(he will be 22 to 23 years old, while Fuyumi would be 23 to 24 years old and Touya 24 to 25 years old).

The weaknesses of the quirks (which I'm still going to decide). Plasma: if he uses it excessively, he can get burns on his body, and he can feel weak (since his plasma is hotter than the flames). Radiation, on the other hand, left him quite infertile, and also left him a walking nuclear reactor, and many people don't like working with him (with the exception of Burnin, he has a crush on her and she reciprocates, in both quirks, whether it's plasma or radiation, he has a crush on Burnin and she reciprocates with him, because she thinks he's very strong and handsome). He even appeared in Endeavor's internship arc, first at the family dinner, where he himself says he would leave there, for the simple fact that Natsuo was angry with his father (so he wouldn't have any more fight between them). He appears again, saving Endeavor along with Hawks from some of the glass villain's henchmen.

Another weakness of the radiation quirk is that he needs to wear a containment suit, so as not to spread radiation to others, as others may feel nausea, vomiting, headache and other symptoms.

The weakness of the plasma is that it needs to eat a lot of foods with vitamin D to be able to heat his plasma, because if not, the less it eats, the less hot his plasma becomes. His maximum form was when he activated his full potential, generating a plasma aura with lightning, making him faster and stronger, but this caused him to have problems in his heart.

His radiation can be green in color (normal, containing uranium/plutonium), but it can evolve to blue (the hottest), making it look like a beam of radiation that cuts and leaves radioactive around it), He also wears a mask, so as not to contaminate others with his drool, which is radioactive, as well as his sweat, and blood, which are the color atomic blue, He is immune to his own radiation, but he takes care not to affect others. His fans send him direct messages, saying that he is incredible and a magnificent hero, He has female fans who want to take a picture with him without a mask, but he kindly refuses.

In plasma quirk, the color of his plasma varies from blue to purple, but since he "mastered" his quirk, it made his hair bright purple, and his other attacks also turned that color. His hair has the same effect as Burnin, except it's a purple walking plasma. His favorites foods is Yakisoba seafood, grilled fish and sashimi.

Edit: i forgot to mention too, his veins glow (both in the radiation and plasma quirks) when he uses his quirk, fans go crazy when they see his veins glow, and his eyes also glow. And... As he sleeps (in the plasma quirk), his hair loses its shine, but when he starts to wake up, his hair starts to shine again, along with his eye too.

In the radiation quirk, every time he breathes, you see his organs glowing. Mostly, his heart, lungs and stomach, He is a big fan of kaiju movies, especially Godzilla.

Fumiko's quirk allows her to summon a scythe seemingly made of light. Despite its appearance, it has the properties of a solid object.

Born in Sapporo, but moved to Tokyo when she was young. Her father is a well-to-do businessman who works for a high-tech car company, but he travels for work a lot so she doesn't see him very often. He brings her gifts from wherever he goes.

Has Ainu ancestry, which she is very proud of.

Picked up her habit of talking like a California Valley Girl from watching too much American television.

Shares Aoyama's passion for gourmet specialty cheese. Their favourite activity together is to set up a charcuterie board and indulge in some juicy gossip. He inspired her to want to learn French.

SEAT 2: Tajima Ichirou

Ichirou can draw plasma out of his body, moulding it as he sees fit. The plasma he creates is limited, though, so he has to work with what he has.

He’s autistic, with Pro Heroes as his main special interest— he’s basically a walking encyclopedia. His classmates appreciate this very much, especially when trying to study for tests or doing group assignments.

Always puts in 10000% effort.

Uraraka adored him immediately. His freckles and fanboyish demeanour remind her a bit of Midoriya. Since neither of them have siblings, they sort of adopted each other that way.

SEAT 3: Iida Tenshi

Much like her family, Tenshi also has an engine quirk— only hers are on her back, giving her a sort of built-in jetpack.

The younger cousin of Tenya and Tensei.

Currently going through a rebellious phase and resents Tenya’s prim and proper attitude. She doesn’t like her family and the expectations they’ve placed on her, and is determined to become a strong hero in her own way.

Knows she’s queer, but hasn’t determined exactly how she wants to label herself yet.

Thinks Tokoyami is the COOLEST and wants to be dark and mysterious like him.

SEAT 4: Goto Toshiyuki

Toshiyuki only has some physical chameleon features, but their quirk allows them to blend in seamlessly with their environment, granting them invisibility whenever that mode is active.

You can’t see it in the above image, but they have a curly chameleon tail as well.

Nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns exclusively.

Has a playful, quirky personality and enjoys sneaking up on and spooking their classmates as well as getting into harmless shenanigans. They would never use their powers to hurt anyone, though, and don’t ever act maliciously.

Owns a set of special sticky gloves that they use to crawl on the walls and ceilings.

Completely indulges Hagakure with however she wants to dress them up or style their hair. They both enjoy fashion quite a bit.

SEAT 5: Sakamata Kujo

Kujo’s parentage is no mystery to anyone who sets eyes upon him— he’s the son of Gang Orca and his quirk operates pretty much identically to his father’s.

His parents separated when he was a baby and he mostly lives with his dad, so he was essentially raised at the Gang Orca agency. The sidekicks all affectionately call him “Little Fish”.

Got into U.A. through recommendations.

Likes sewing and other fibre arts.

Despite the blood relation and physical similarities, he hates being treated like a carbon copy of his father.

Paints on eyebrows to make him look more approachable. The last thing he wants is for his classmates to be scared of him.

Was elected Deputy Class Rep at the start of the school year after receiving the second-most votes next to Kumagai Miyako.

Teared up a little when Asui asked him to call her “Tsu”. The two became very fast friends right out of the gate and can often be found hanging out at U.A.’s indoor pool. He really appreciates how she took the time to get to know HIM rather than treating him like Gang Orca 2.0.

SEAT 6: Uyehara Hitomi

Hitomi’s lemur-like tail and long limbs grant her a high level of agility way beyond what is normally possible.

Has known her best friend, Shinohara Fumiko, since preschool.

Expert tree-climber.

Is a bit of a scaredy cat, and she’ll be the first to admit it. She’s never left Japan in her entire life and doesn’t plan to.

During the Kamino Ward incident, her aunt, uncle, and baby cousin were caught up in the attack and killed. Part of her really resents Bakugou over it and sees his “villainous” behaviour as the cause.

Was so happy to be paired with Ojiro, who has been super kind and patient with her.

SEAT 7: Sasaki Mari

Walking in the footsteps of her Uncle Mirai, Mari aims to use her own future-seeing quirk to become a great Pro Hero. She doesn’t quite have the same deal as Sir Nighteye, though— hers allows her to accurately predict a set amount of time in the immediate future. Right now she can see about 35 seconds into the future, but with training, that time will increase.

Got into U.A. through recommendations

Didn’t actually want to be a Pro Hero until her uncle died, but felt that she had to pick up the torch where he fell since she was the only other person in the Sasaki family who had a future-seeing quirk.

Has two older sisters, but was Sir Nighteye’s favourite of the group since she was the one who could make him laugh the most.

Also knew All Might growing up, so it’s kind of weird for her now that he’s one of her teachers. She still calls him “Uncle Might”.

Went to elementary school with Sakuma Shigeo, whom she doesn’t like because she thinks he’s a jerk.

She’s the only female first-year student with a female second-year mentor. She and Yaoyorozu really enjoy having tea together.

SEAT 8: Yamasaki Arisu

Arisu, or “Ari” for short, secretes an acidic saliva. His own body is immune to the effects of his acid.

His mother is South African, but he was born and raised in Japan so he doesn’t consider himself foreign at all. He regularly goes to Cape Town to visit his grandparents, though.

Loves wearing headbands, and has one for every occasion. Ever since Kujo taught him how to embroider, he’s been making his own and having a blast with it.

Rarely does homework but somehow still does well in school. It’s one of the greatest mysteries of Class 1-A.

Has the WILDEST stories anyone has ever heard. No one is certain if he’s just making them up or if they actually happened. (Turns out they’re all true, he’s just one of those people who weird stuff just happens to).

Is BEST BUDDIES with Ashido. They have so much fun together, and will often stay up late just chatting on the phone. He made her a custom headband for the Sports Festival, and took inspiration from her for his hero name, too.

SEAT 9: Tomita Kayo

Kayo can raise or lower the temperature within a certain radius around her, and even affect the atmosphere itself. The closer one is to her, the more intense these effects become. She is immune to the effects of her own quirk.

Was the number one student in Japan prior to coming to U.A. She was offered recommendations, but turned it down in order to take the entrance exam like everyone else.

Incredibly stone-faced and difficult to read. People think she’s unapproachable, but in reality she’s just kind of socially awkward and anxious.

Butch lesbian. Cuts her hair in her second year to really reflect this, once she realizes she doesn’t care what her parents think anymore.

Speaking of her parents, they’re both quirkless and members of a group called the Exceptionals, which is a very exclusive club for quirkless people who’ve achieved some sort of high esteem in their lives, despite having no quirk. They look down on people with quirks and treat them like having a quirk makes their accomplishments inherently worthless. Some members of the Exceptionals are even rumoured to be affiliated with Humarise. Kayo’s older brother and sister are also quirkless, so it was a big problem for her parents when they discovered that their third child did indeed have a quirk. Kayo has a strained relationship with her parents because of this.

Kayo and Shouto have bonded over their family trauma, and he often reassures her that things will get better. The Todoroki family has welcomed her with open arms.

SEAT 10: Sakuma Shigeo

Shigeo generates static electricity, which he can release in massive quantities. However, he needs to be touching something to add a static charge to it, such as the ground, walls, or other objects.

His parents underwent an extremely messy divorce when he was young. He covers up this trauma with snide comments and apathy.

Enjoys getting a rise out of people, so he often pulls pranks. Most are harmless (like putting a fake spider on Fumiko’s Gucci bag) but some definitely cross a line and result in someone getting hurt. He always feels bad when this happens, though he isn’t the best at sincere apologies.

Used to be friends with Sasaki Mari in kindergarten, but now she thinks he’s a total jerk.

The most likely to play Devil’s Advocate.

His hair naturally stands on end from all the excess static.

Helps his dad repair vehicles at his garage.

Does genuinely care about his classmates, even if he doesn’t always act like it.

Really enjoys hanging out with Kaminari. They often play video games together.

SEAT 11: Hironaka Isao

It’s not visible in the above photograph, but Isao’s hands are flexible metal hooks. The hooks are attached to cable, which he can shoot from his arms. Essentially, he’s got built-in grappling hooks.

Grew up in a military family and went to military academy before applying for U.A. His dad is a general, and his two brothers are both in the army. His mom teaches at a military college.

Really enjoys hiking and nature photography. His life goal, other than to become a Pro Hero, is to win a national photo contest.

Easily gets nervous around girls. He thinks Fumiko is really cute but doesn’t believe he has a chance with her, so admiring from afar it will have to be.

Gets along fabulously with Sero since they’re both such chill guys.

SEAT 12: Nishioka Miho

Miho’s sensitive antennae allow her to detect things not normally detectable by the human ear. She’s virtually impossible to sneak up on, unless she’s really not paying attention. Her quirk, however, hasn’t fully manifested yet— later on, she develops a set of butterfly-like wings on her back, which allow her to fly.

Lost her parents in a villain attack when she was very young. Her aunt and uncle, who had no children of their own, took her in and lovingly raised her. She calls them “Mom” and “Dad” and can hardly remember her birth parents.

Trans girl who has been on HRT for over a year. She transitioned early because her guardians are very supportive.

Looooooves a good tragedy and reads the most depressing books ever written. She finds them really cathartic. They help her continually process the grief of losing her parents. Her hero name, CioCio, is a reference to Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly.

Though Shoji appears scary to some people, Miho was drawn to his kindness and gentle personality. She soon developed romantic feelings for him, which not even seeing him without his mask on could deter. He was stunned by her confession but admitted the feelings were reciprocated, though he never would’ve acted on them on his own. The two agreed to go on a date after the Sports Festival and see where their relationship could grow from there.

SEAT 13: Monoma Nagito

Nagito’s quirk appears much like his older brother’s, but has some important differences. He can only mirror quirks that manifest physically— like Kirishima’s hardening— but cannot copy abilities, and can only mirror a single quirk at once. However, there is no time limit on his abilities.

Doesn’t get along with his older brother Neito. This was made all the worse when Nagito made it into Class A.

Has a chill, laid-back sort of personality on the surface, but can be just as underhanded and mean as Neito. Absolute KING of snark and petty revenge.

Extremely loyal to his friends and ruthless to his enemies.

The most likely to let a classmate copy his homework.

Bisexual icon.

Admires Kirishima a lot and sees him as the older brother he wished he had, rather than how mean and competitive Neito was towards him growing up. He really appreciates Kirishima’s “manly” values.

SEAT 14: Kumagai Miyako

Though she normally has the head of a black panther with a humanoid body, Miyako’s quirk allows her to fully morph into panther form, which grants her increased speed, agility, and strength. In panther form, she is larger and more powerful than normal panthers are.

The Mom Friend(tm)— she always packs extra snacks and stuff whenever the class is going on a field trip somewhere

Mature beyond her years, she received the most votes for Class Rep and has taken on the responsibility proudly.

Her clothes have been tailored to adapt to her size in both humanoid and panther form, so she doesn’t destroy them when she morphs.

Practicing Buddhist. Meditates often.

Though Koda is known to be pretty quiet, she finds communicating with him easy, and her calm demeanour helped coax him out of his shell. By communicating with local cats and felines at the zoo, he has really helped her come up with new ways for her to use her quirk.

SEAT 15: Kovalenko Iryna (Iryna Oleksandrivna Kovalenko / Ірина Олександрівна Коваленко)

Iryna can generate and release massive quantities of nuclear fission energy, akin to a nuclear reactor or atomic bomb. Overuse of her quirk, however, will send her body into a meltdown state and potentially kill her.

Born to a Japanese mother and Ukrainian father, she’s the first Eastern European student to attend U.A.

Spent most of her time growing up in Kyiv, but now lives with her father, grandmother, and little brother in the small town of Letychiv.

Also goes by her nickname, “Kova”, which she shortened to make it easier for her Japanese classmates to pronounce.

Former gymnast.

Fluent in Ukrainian, Japanese, English, and Russian.

SEAT 16: Atsushi Ren

Ren’s legs look like that of a kangaroo’s, and grant him super speed, strength, and the ability to jump really, really high, just like a kangaroo can.

Definitely has the loudest mouth in the entire class. He’s always boasting about how great he is and how he’s going to make it to the top.

Acts like he’s super chill but has the tendency to fly off the handle when provoked.

Wears a beanie even when it’s hot out. It’s like his thing.

He’s not Australian but he has an Australian accent in my head.

Iida definitely had his work cut out for him with Ren, but did eventually successfully reform him into being a bit more polite and humble.

SEAT 17: Iwamoto Sadao

Sadao can use echolocation the same way bats can, but he can also amplify frequency of the soundwaves he produces to turn them into powerful attacks. He owns a repurposed electric guitar that greatly expands the range of his soundwaves when he uses it as a weapon.

Absolute sweetheart of a guy who will do anything for his pals. He didn’t have many friends before U.A. because of his tendency to shout a lot, which scared people away.

His parents didn’t want him to go into hero work initially because they’re worried about his eyesight— he’s slowly going blind and will eventually have to entirely rely on his echolocation for navigation.

Can play the guitar and loves rock music. His hero costume is styled after the band KISS. He’s growing his hair out so he can look more like a rockstar.

Clicked with Jirou instantly. They have jam sessions in her room all the time and are looking into starting a band. The repurposed guitar he uses to expand his range was originally hers, but she gave it to him upon realizing it would help him navigate with his ailing sight.

SEAT 18: Tamanaha Ume

Ume’s quirk relies on the manipulation of the enamel her body produces through her teeth. She can adjust the size of her teeth as well as make them duller or sharper on command, and can use this to bite through even the strongest materials. By removing her teeth, she can manipulate the enamel to shape them however she wants and use them as tools. As soon as she pulls one tooth out, another instantly grows in its place, but pulling out too many at once can cause pain and bleeding.

The younger of the Tamanaha twins, she’s a lot more easygoing than her sister Aya. They have an older brother, and their father is a professional wrestler who taught all three of his kids how to fight.

Really hates bullies and is super protective of her friends and allies.

Not the best academically but makes up for it in enthusiasm.

Enjoys watching sports of any kind.

Surprisingly gets along with Mineta, once she laid down some ground rules as to how she wants to be respected and how she wants him to be more respectful towards other women. She’s the first real female friend that he’s spent a lot of one-on-one time with, which has been a good influence on him.

SEAT 19: Tamanaha Aya

Aya’s quirk relies on the manipulation of the keratin her body produces through her nails. She can adjust the length of her nails as well as make them duller or sharper on command, and can use this to pierce through even the strongest materials. The older of the Tamanaha twins, she’s a lot more serious than her sister Ume. They have an older brother, and their father is a professional wrestler who taught all three of his kids how to fight.

Strong both physically and academically, and always has to help Ume study.

Studied abroad in Germany during middle school and still speaks German pretty well.

Amazing at chess.

Sometimes feels like she’s overshadowed by Ume’s more boisterous personality.

Really enjoys training with Sato. He has also been teaching her how to bake.

SEAT 20: Hase Yukio

With a mere touch, Yukio can fix anything that’s broken, living or non-living. His classmates rely on him to mend their clothes, heal their wounds, repair damaged objects, etc. The more complicated the break, the longer it takes him to repair, and once something or someone is dead, his powers will no longer work.

Quiet and shy, he will never make the first move when it comes to friendships. He is super awkward in group settings, but can be coaxed out of his shell with enough patience and time.

Gay, but is too shy to come out directly. He hopes the rainbow pin on his school bag will be enough to clue people in.

Before entering U.A., he really didn’t like his quirk and wished he was more useful in combat. He genuinely has no idea how he made it through the entrance exam and sometimes feels like he shouldn’t have gotten in. (His points were heavily weighted towards rescue).

Since then, he’s come to get a better understanding of how much his classmates rely on him, and he’s happy to use his quirk to help them. He really just wants to be useful.

Working with Midoriya has really boosted his low confidence. Midoriya’s patience and kindness has shown him that he too can do amazing things, and to value himself more, saving people with a smile on his face.
