It seems I can’t for the life of me be freed from the struggles of hyperfixations

Just a few days ago I was fixated on Metal Cardbots and now? ITS FUCKING SPACE MICE

I have never heard of this show, I legit only found out it was a thing back when I was writing a final for a media class and needed to look up shows for reference. And I was BAFFLED to even READ THE TITLE, I thought “this can’t be real” I watched the opening, watched the first episode with a friend over a call

We love it. I don’t know what it is but we loved it

she said Limburger looks like Pete the cat and cant get over the absolute nonsense Vinnie spews every 5 seconds, I just really like Throttle and Modo because yes.

What cracks me up is the fact I KNOW I wouldn’t have watched this as a kid and I was still iffy on watching it in general seeing what the vibe was—but it quickly grew on me within the first 3 episodes.

Am I making an oc for this? Yes. Will this fuck up my whole schedule? Yes.

But it’s for the mice and I can’t say no

I've been sick and that ofc means that I've been rewatching my fav comfort show wich is biker mice from mars. And I absolutely cannot stop thinking about that one scene in the episode once upon a time on Mars (pt.3) when Modos mother calls him and Throttle steps into the picture and massages Modos neck for the entire call.

I have received the tracking and shipment information for the Biker Mice Bundle this evening and I couldn't be any more happier than what I already am!!

I want to thank Nacelle and Ryan Reynolds so much from the bottom of my heart for bringing back the Biker Mice franchise for future generations to enjoy just as much as I have and I cannot wait to receive these awesome figures to put up for presents for myself on Christmas morning!

This one's for everyone: I know all you mice love your rock, but are there any other kinds of music the four of you also listen to?

Vinnie: While nothing beats rock ('cept for scissors--) I like to indulge in a little heavy mental, the dub of step (Charley called it something like that--), and hard trance! Anything with a heavy beat I can just get fckin' lost in, y'know? I want my ribs rattling!

Throttle: Ahh, well, if I had to pick? I'd say power metal. It's great to listen to when you're trying to save the world. And the guitar riffs? Nothing compares. When I want something lighter....Grunge...Charley...might have turned me on to Country recently. But you didn't hear that from me.

Modo: I really enjoy listenin' to power ballads! Charley got me interested in them when she said they reminded her of me. Emotional but strong, is what she said...it was really sweet. When I'm out fishing, I like a nice lofi playlist. I keep the volume pretty low so I can enjoy the sounds of nature...or hear if Limburger is up to no good.

Charley: If you couldn't tell by now, I listen to anything and everything! If it wasn't for me, the boys wouldn't have ANY musical variety in their lives! Still haven't gotten them to appreciate pure classical music but...I'm weaning them into it with metal versions of my favorites!

What are your hopes for the new BMFM reboot? Me personally I'm hoping we get the original cast of main trio. I also hope we get the backstory on how the bros met and became freedom fighters? No cat aliens, more stoker, rimfire and carbine.

Ohh I like your ideas! I also really wish the main cast stays, and that they'll flesh out the Plutarkians more and maybe introduce the "big bad" of the story that's even worse than the Plutarkians.

keep the episode format as the old one from the 93 version, but also have "filler" episodes where it shows the bro's adjusting a bit to Earth (Martians are a similar society to humans, but not the SAME, so it would've been cool to see the bro's struggling more in fitting in, kids being scared of them at first, people going at them with pitchforks until Charley helps them befriend the community)

Local human biker gangs having rivalries and befriending the bro's. Throttle, Vinnie and Modo became something of the "resident" biker gang in Charley's neighborhood, but there are always peeps not unlike the Pit Boss who challenges them and causes trouble

Charley's family checking in on her from time to time, surprise visits where Charley is freaking out how to either A) hide three huge macho mice from her old parents or B) introduce them as gently as possible to them (the ep centers around Charley trying to have the Biker Mice on their best behavior, dressed impeccably, but the lesson is that her parents only start liking them when the bro's are themselves and they saved Charley's parents from Limburger's evil schemes)

Rimfire visiting often or staying for longer periods of time, cue flashbacks to Modo's past, the past of Throttle and Vinnie in general bc we know next to nothing about their lives before they joined the Freedom Fighters

Carbine's POV before and after she has a video call with Throttle, how she organizes and trains the Freedom Fighters, her own struggles as a female war general

Stoker finding his place again as a tactician and strategist, helping the mice deliver and transport supplies. Coming to Earth to gather materials, wrestle with Throttle, Vinnie and Modo and flirt with Charley

Charley's friends coming over, one half being in awe of Martians and their culture and in general other species, while the other half just drools over the bro's

Maybe a potential love interest for Modo? Tho that's not really necessary (just since Throttle and Vinnie have one). Maybe a nice woman working at an animal shelter or so

Catatonians find some other planet to terrorize or one of Limburger's machines hits/affects the Catatonian's and they're turned into normal house cats and transported to Earth to never cause harm again. The end :P

Charley (together with a doctor friend of her's) invents a bionic eye that acts as a heat sensor and sort of replaces Throttle's field specs. Throttle requests to just "upgrade" one of his eyes, he's grown so used to the shades and he would feel like he cheated on his bros if he was the only one to get his disability completely fixed

Their bikes being more sentient and showing distinctive personalities. Lil' Hoss already has a name and a certain temperament, but Throttle and Vinnie's bikes don't really

New weapons systems, maybe the bros having secondary weapons they could fall back to if fists/guns aren't the answer

Limburger going on vacation for some time, but when he returns some other sleazy villain tries to terrorize the Biker Mice instead of him. He goes ballistic and teams up with the Biker Mice to drive out the other guy. He's the only alien that can cause havoc in Chicago!

Hey! Absolutely love your blog. You’re seriously inspiring me to write again for fun at my old age. I saw you did some headcannons about Modo, Charley, and Vinnie from BMFM. Can I ask for some headcannons about my first cartoon crush Throttle?

-Everyone and their grandmother is aware that Throttle has the most fur out of the bros. It is ridiculously soft; chinchilla-type of soft. For all of his rough-and-tumble antics, he takes really good care of his fur, always being careful to get out any tangles. Charley is a blessing for making a full-body hair dryer for the bros (100% agree with this wonderful person's idea about that, holy smokes)

-He won’t admit it, but Throttle is a tiny bit vain. That smooth look didn’t just pop out of the ground. He put in the work! He put in time! Sure, he’s not afraid to get dirty and he’ll throttle anybody who implies he’s scared of a mess but there is no denying that Throttle is the mouse who gives himself more than a once-over before starting out the day. 

-His glasses are very much for light-sensitivity - a bright day outside could scorch his corneas. An unexpected upside of this is when he’s stuck in darkness. Throttle surprised all the bros when he was able to tell where everybody was in complete darkness. Unlike others, his eyes are sensitive enough that the smallest bit of light is enough to navigate shadows.

-He’s a dry-wit, smooth jab kind of guy. It hits hard too. One moment the group is joking around, and the next Throttle’s hit them with the smoothest jab they’ve heard in a while. He and Stoker share that sharp wit and will exchange barbs for fun. 

-Throttle’s a reflective guy. He isn’t one to share all those thoughts with anybody either. As the leader of the team comes the need to be level-headed, to be the one to stay calm enough to make the tough calls and keep the plan going. With that is the expectation (self-imposed mind you) that he always has to be that guy. It’s a struggle to tell when he’s really going through it emotionally - Charley and Modo have got a pretty decent system for telling, but it’s not always a guarantee. 

-Solo rides to clear his head. There’s something about the world rushing by, wind whipping against his fur and metal clenching under his grip that is freeing. All the worries rush away, unable to keep up. It’s his preferred method to mull things over when the world’s a bit much. 

-An object at rest stays at rest. The bros all get antsy for action after too much peace but Throttle has the highest tolerance for it. Give him a couch and mandatory rest and he’ll be cutting logs in his sleep. The louder the snore, the more sleep-deprived he’s been prior to the nap. Rest is not an every-day thing he wants to experience, but Throttle will take it between the action and ruckus.

He has always been my favourite out of the three! (With Modo and Vinnie being a close joint second!) I have always admired how he has been portrayed to have issues with his eyesight (as in his entire field of vision is just plain white without his field specs or his helmet), as I can highly relate due to having Myopia, (which is shortsightedness) and I was always forever being bullied for having to wear glasses because of it! But he, along with his bros, doesn't allow his disabilities to define him and still continues to persevere against all odds that may be stacked up against him and his bros!

I cannot wait for the revival of this awesome franchise that inspired me to not define myself by my disabilities and the franchise that also got me to discover my love of motorcycles when I was a kid!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!

Posted the second installment of the winter bmfm stories on my AO3! Originally I wanted to post the Chicago story today, but...my shippy little heart got the better of me and I put Throttle and Max up instead lol. I hope you enjoy!
