Who is the best cook in the group?

Oh that's a good question, mainly because it requires us to answer a more fun question first. Who is the worst cook in the group? Shadow and Wraith ( @agentwraith) routinely set the kitchen on fire, Bluenix ( @silverdragon889) and Kai can make like, mac n cheese at best, I feel like Typhoon has the best cooking skills out of them all. Best at not setting the kitchen on fire.

I Expect You To Party

A party set to celebrate both Christmas and the New Year across dimensions / universes.

(Feel free to add what each of your Phoenixes / EOD Agents will do.)

A Christmas and New Year party set in a different dimension or universe is definitely a novel experience for Agent Phoenix, or in this case Agent 13-12. With the influx of multiple Agent Phoenixes, they decided to use a different code to distinguish themself from... well, every other Agent Phoenix.

They held out their hand, telekinesis activating as they plopped down the mango float, a dessert made of graham, whipped cream, and mangos.

"Too bad you're caught up on some things, Handler Sir~" They chuckled, touching their earpiece as their handler decided to protest, something about them giving him paperwork to do.

It only served to make them laugh.

In the background, a younger agent with blue hair was yelling at a different agent to get down from the Christmas tree.

"Wraith, I swear! Get down from there!" Agent Typhoon huffed. His handler, Elira (more affectionately called Ellie), just watches in the distance. She is beside another handler named Blue, discussing their kids agents' missions.

Blue's agent, Shadow, is sneaking off to form her own plan, a grin plastered on her face as she approaches Typhoon.

Another Phoenix, affectionately called Wyvern, approaches 13-12 as the latter was busy placing the food down.

Neither of them acknowledge the implicit food theft due to another Phoenix, Bluenix or Nix for short, taking control of the music and drawing their attention.

"You're doing that to spite them, aren't you?" A different agent, codename Smitten, with blonde hair and green eyes sat close to a different Phoenix who goes by "Sage" eating in the corner. He sighed upon seeing the spoon and fork floating at the distance.

Just arriving at the place was Agent 043, another Phoenix who immediately saw their baby siblings and went to them immediately.

Some other Agent Phoenixes have been invited and the party is about to start.

Nix is calling Smitten. He figures Smitten could 1) handle the paperwork, 2) not chew him out too badly, and 3) clear him of the arson charges that totally weren't his fault. How dare you.

Nix, like many a Phoenix, did this after Death Engine.

Reggie had no clue what to do, seeing the ginger lad bruised and bleeding on his white couch. He had no clue what to feel, either. Was this relief? Joy? Gas? He had no clue. What he ended up doing, though, was tending the wounds and covering Nix in a blanket before heading to bed himself. Nix woke up to an estimate for dry cleaning left on the coffee table in Reggie's handwriting. It was that moment, Phoenix thinks, that really cemented the handler's place in his heart.

Whumpee who save themselves instead of waiting for rescue. Whumpee who waits at home for caretaker to find because they didn't know where else to go or who to trust.

Caretaker, who just came home after a hopeless day of no leads for whumpee's disappearance to find them passed out on their couch.

Nix pondered this for a moment. Small spaces...

Depends on the space. He settles on. I'd take a vent or a closet over a dumpster or an elevator any day.

I feel like once Kai gets more comfortable around the group, he definitely would. He wouldn't have so much fun with it too, sending the cheesiest puns and whatever. Either him or Bluenix ( @silverdragon889)

Bluenix stands up from his spot on the ground in his lodgings and quietly as he can, makes his way to Typhoon's door. He knocks three times on the body of the door before tapping the hinges twice, hoping this particular Agency signal happened to be multi-dimensional...

After all, Bluenix muses, Typhoon should be the first person he wants to tell about the change.

Typhoon? It's Bluenix. I'd like to talk, but, can ypu promise not to freak out when you open the door?

Recovery is far from fun

(Since the RP thread is looking very long, let's just put the recovery arc here. @brain-is-a-toaster, @agent--shadow, @agentwraith, @blueorchid-95)

"Whatever other me did is indeed impressive. I still can't decode the files."

The woman looked at the documents, seemingly uncaring at the chaos left by several agents. It was not her universe, not her problem. She'll stay out of this mess unless someone involves her directly.

"But, if this gets leaked, it'll be troublesome. And annoying. It's bad enough that other me became Agent Phoenix. But now, this?"

She held up a vial in her hands, noticing the clear liquid slowly taking on a brown hue as it mixed with blood.

"I suppose no one needs the documentation to know just how much damage this concoction can do. Too bad. The samples are highly limited. But we'll get there eventually."

A small resignation swirled in her grey eyes before it was covered by blond hair.

"... We're the same person, after all."

"How have you and Shadow been, Blue?"

Ellie looked at her fellow handler as she dropped by the hospital ward.

13-12 had been recovering nicely, well, as nicely as anyone in their situation would. Their handler was far from pleased at what happened.

Typhoon's ward across the hall was quiet. Try as he might, he can't exactly deny that he's currently fretting over Wraith. Unfortunately, he's not allowed to leave so he can be observed.

A lot has happened and Ellie knows that clearing the air might help them decide what needs to be done next.

Bluenix hears a knock on his door, it's Shadow and she's holding the little note he dropped off earlier.

"I need your help," she says, almost sheepishly, as if she doesn't do this often. "Do you know how to make pandebono?"

Nix smiles and TK's the box of all his loose recipe cards to himself. After looking through for a second or two, he holds up a card that's stained with flour.

Seems I do! C'mon. Let's get to work.

Soon enough, Nix's kitchen is prepped with the ingredients. He makes sure Shadow washes her hands, and he makes sure to set aside cream for his scars; water sometimes makes them itchy. Shadow can see he's excited to cook.

I'll start mixing the ingredients in a food processor. You can add the egg, and shape the dough, llamita. Sound good?

19. They get stuck in an elevator. How does everyone react?

Florian would be the one to press the help button,

Shadow climbs up and out the little door at the top, forgetting about everyone else.

Kai is trying to help people, but rarely anyone needs his help.

Wraith follows suit after Shadow.

Bluenix probably calls Ollie to pass the time until help got there.

Handler Blue is trying desperately to keep up with Shadow, but is failing miserably.

Handler Ellie is standing off to the side, burying her head in her hands.

Typhoon is probably trying to pull Wraith back into the elevator to annoy her and get back for the hair dye prank.

(Bluenix leaves one of his spare hats on your desk in honor of spooky month with a note saying:)

"I think Blue would look good on you!"

[Phoenix checks the hat for poison or needles or things like that, and then puts it on.]

"...It does, huh...?"

[They smile a little.]

"Well, based on the reports, we should find a way underwater for now. Is everyone's comms connected to each other? The agency left it nearby." He recalled the plan in his head again, trying to form the words.

"This is just wonderful!" No one can tell how sarcastic Typhoon's voice is although he seems drier compared to everyone. His handler's in the line, trying to get him to quiet down.

What Lays Beyond

The water rippled, lapping at the stone ledge. The waves crashed against the rocks, nearly reaching the top of the tall and jagged cliff. Something swirled in the water far beyond the shallows, something unnatural. The sun shone just over the horizon, casting surprisingly bright pinks and reds and oranges all over the sky.

A forest lay sprawled at the edge of the cliff, dense and dangerous, lined with traps to deter anything- or anyone, from coming out alive. Let alone anything resembling several agents ready for destruction.
