Ben’s Fruit Salad

The singer that Ben is, I knew to expect a musical event when he began making his fruit salad. This week, the whole process took just about 45 minutes given Ben’s choice of fruit. He brought in tubs of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Once shown how to hull the strawberries, Ben began working on that process quickly and methodically, accompanied by the vocal rendition of “The Wheels on the Bus”. Then he emptied the blueberries into a bowl and washed them carefully, this time to the accompaniment of “I’ve got Peace like a River.” Once washed, he gently emptied the blueberries into the bowl with strawberries. He repeated the process with the raspberries to the rendition of “Do - a - deer” and then added them to the fruit salad bowl. He stood back and looked at it with much satisfaction, “Look Ms Deepa, it’s almost done. I only have to mix it up now.” He picked up the wooden ladle and held it for a brief moment like a baton and struck a conductor like pose and then started mixing the fruit, this time softly humming “Edelweiss”. Until he completed the song, Ben meditatively mixed up the fruit and then ...it was done! The song and the salad were complete. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious

The cleansing oil contains 150 ml (5.07 oz) and has kind of an oily scent.

The product is made of sturdy plastic and has a pump.

If anyone wants to know, these are swatches from the Revolution Beauty x DC Collection - Batman Flawless Eyeshadow Palette - This City Needs Me Forever.

It dissolves the eyeshadows really easily. This also does a great job on sweatproof concealers and foundations/BB creams.

It rinses off cleanly and doesn't leave any residue.

Recommended use is to apply a moderate amount of product on your face and gently massage in circular motions and then rinse with lukewarm water. After using, it's important to note, this product does have an artificial fragrance but it's not really detectable and it mainly has an oily scent. It applies very easily and works on eye makeup and base makeup that is sweatproof and/or waterproof. It also rinses off very cleanly. i DO like tea. if im gonna do it hot i LOVE sleepytime tea (the bear on the box...so wholesome) with like one pack of sugar and a lil bit of lime and i drink it out of my elephant mug. for hot teas i also love jasmine tea...very soothing. i like fruity iced teas like the tea blends you get a teavanna like blueberry limeade blend or the strawberry hibiscus blend or the beach belini one...SO good. i also just like a good ole arizona green iced tea that was 99 cents at the gas station

As someone who is ND themself and who has friends with “bad” ND disorders, I’m gonna ask neurotypical people to do a few things.

STOP DEMONIZING NEURODIVERGENT DISORDERS LIKE DID, BPD, BD, PSYCHOSIS, ASPD, ETC.

These people are NOT monsters, they are NOT your experiments to test on, they are NOT your hobby. They are living breathing people trying to live the best they can in a neurotypical focused world.

What bothers me the most is that these people are struggling, and then they don’t feel like they can reach out for help because the minute they do, they get demonized for it.

Another thing neurotypical people need to stop doing,

STOP INFANTILIZING PEOPLE WITH ADHD AND AUTISM. We are NOT infants. We are NOT incapable. We are NOT your “soft little baby.” Or some other bullshit.

We too, are people, we are also struggling, but treating us as if we’re incapable of doing anything when we very well could be is beyond insulting.

Neurodivergent people are just that, PEOPLE. Stop treating us otherwise. We just want respect.

Seriously.
