Video , this is Blue. Ya'll can't convince me otherwise, he's a good daddy for you and the child(ren) because,

"Hey, I might not have a great dad but at the very least I'd like my child to have one." And becomes the best Dad.

Will not force expectations on his child but is still not a lenient father figure. Unlike how his parents forced him to be the prodigy child they prided on, Blue will learn what his child's talents, likes, dislikes, and literally everything so that he can open the path he considers best for his child.

He likes teaching his child all the martial arts he has learned back then or just playing with his child, anything. Be a princess for them to dress him up, a pirate with a sword toy and eyepatch, or just be a horse.

He really is the BEST dad (sobs)

Seth doesn't know how to talk much with his child but he's trying! He loves his child and wants to bond more with them. Will try his best to play along with his child's whim, he might not be a good actor like Blue but hey, it's the thought that counts. (Man sneezed so hard when your child powdered his face)

He has a relatively normal family, an irresponsible father, and a mother who is absent most of the time. Nonetheless, he wishes his child wouldn't have to feel what he felt back then.

He might actually burden his child with all the studies he had back then as a child, the problem was that Seth was a smart ass, and your child? It's a 50/50. What do you expect from a guy who fast-forwarded 2 years of school?

He is an 8.8/10

Man did not even know he had children in the original story (technically it's not his but in a 'sense', it's his.)

Yes, he too, doesn't have a great father figure. And so are you.

But believe me, he is a gentle soul when it comes to his child, whether it's his or not, he doesn't care. It's his and your child now. Let's talk about the twin in the original story. Back when Hansel confronted Eleanor about him being his dad, Eleanor went ??? but lightheartedly took care of them despite barely seeing a single bit of resemblance in the twins.

He's a gentle soul (shrugs) but he might have some trouble communicating with the child sometimes. Depends on his sanity state.

Will bond with the child by doing some activities together, painting the wall is his favorite, he gets to have his child splatter the whole wall without a care in this world (and he actually does that too, and will pin the blame on the child if you scold him).

He is an 8/10.

He feeds, houses, and teaches them everything they need to be a member of society, except that he is not a lenient father figure. He tries his best to hide his tendencies to force his child to be the prodigy that he is, to be able to shine just like how he is.

But seriously though, he is not an irresponsible father figure.

Yulian doesn't have a father figure but he sometimes acknowledges the scientist to be his Father out of convenience. Castiel and Diederich were a patriarch in his eyes. Castiel who forced him to uphold the intelligence he gave him, to match his own wits so that Yulian would not bring shame to him, and Diederich who was an ex-military personnel, you bet how hard he had it when he was a child (Blue2)

And so generational trauma (in a nutshell) is back! No genuine love was spared and only all the things he was forced to shoulder pushed to his child, especially on the eldest child.

One thing about him is that he will always side with his child no matter what, even if they are in the wrong. Take it as something heartwarming but he just doesn't want a shitstain of a child dragging his and your reputation down, what would those people say of you? That you can't even properly watch over your child? Hell no.

I'd say 7/10 because he only lacks morality and genuine love toward his child, heck he only knows how to burden his child... maybe 6.5/10, passing score.

would you ever consider doing video tutorials for knitting? for example i want to learn to knit bust darts (vertical, i'm busty and need more fabric there) but i have not had much luck on youtube. saw one video that showed how to do short row darts but that's not really what i need and even that video wasn't super clear lol. this is not a request for you to do something tedious btw lol i am not trying to pressure you at all, just love your projects and trust your knitting advice ♥️

no lust for video production on the nearish horizon but i can give some illustrated tips for potential next steps for you !! congrats on wanting to try darts, they are one of the most useful things i have figured out how to do. some high level points first:

first, i would say do not dismiss short row darts 😈 i will show you some examples of how i've used them on my projects in an attempt to convince you of this.

second: horizontal darts work so well for me that i have not yet actually worked vertical darts. the premise of vertical darts is using increases and/or decreases to add and remove horizontal inches to the same region.

third! as a busty and somewhat barrel chested broad, who mostly knits zero-to-negative ease, the most consistent fit modification i make is adding extra size under the arms. i'll explain this in my second example.

example A: horizontal bust darts

i learned how to work horizontal bust darts knitting lily kate france's upwards top, which is a fingering weight tank. the extra vertical length, and the angle at which it is formed, create a modest 3d "hill" that adds a little bit of "bonus space" when wrapped around the 3d object of your body.

both the vertical length and the angle can be customized to fit your body. lily kate's formula for fingering weight tops is what i adapted to the dk weight of the love magick using middle school algebra:

pink: total number of stitches from the front section of the upwards top [loose fingering gauge] in my size

green: total number of stitches from the front section of my love magick [loose dk gauge]

blue1; blue2; blue3...: the number of stitches before turning for each dart as given in the upwards top pattern

and of course x1; x2; x3...: the number of stitches i need to work in DK gauge to get the same spacing / angle of darts as i did on the upwards top

the upwards top is not super bra-friendly. i suggest doing what i did and finding a pattern you want to knit that has bust darts built in, and giving it a try!

and to my second high-level point above. i, personally, find the ability to adjust the spacing of horizontal darts more intuitive than vertical ones, and vertical darts aren't as visually appealing in the gauges i typically work in. but sometimes the "bonus space" provided by horizontal darts is not enough to accommodate the extra inches that knitters like you and i need. that brings us to the next modification.

example B: armscye expansion nation

i took these notes after my try-on for my first love magick sweater, which was super tight in the pits and written with an arm circumference that would not work with my body.

notes: - medium fits well through neck and shoulders, but will need much more room in sleeves and arm (med is 2" too short at bicep!!) - Frog back to sleeve separation and add at least 4-6 straight raglan rows - initially added 4 armpit stitches. will up to 6 for attempt #2. - 3 waist shaping decreases in body

my preferred method of adding extra horizontal inches is by casting on [or binding off] extra underarm stitches. in top-down sweaters, this adds size to both the body and the sleeves, which was key for me not only in the love magick but for most sweaters i knit.

in this example, the yellow oval represents the armhole shape as-written for joining a top-down raglan sweater in the round after splitting off sleeves. this pattern asks me to cast on 4 extra stitches for each armpit. what i would do instead is cast on 12. at a fingering weight gauge of ~6 stitches per inch, the math does this:

(my total armpit stitch inches) – (total recommended armpit stitch inches) = (total inches added) (12*2) – (4*2) = 16 stitches 16 stitches / 6 stitches per inch = 2 ⅔" added

if you size sweaters to your high bust measurement [you should], you'd want your (total inches added) to get you closer to your full bust measurement.

you can then use waist shaping to decrease your way back to the prescribed number of stitches. or to a number of stitches that is a better match for your waist size!

the combo of horizontal darts + extra armpit stitches has been great for my chest shape, and i have figured out a more-or-less standard library of mods that i make to most sweaters to make them fit me. you can find that formula, too, but it won't be the same as mine, and you can only find it by experimenting.

oh, and a bonus: if you're also curvy in the lower half, you can use the same Knitting Technology ™ to shape skirts to yourself [check my pinned post, if you haven't!]

Continental Classic scenarios

Gold League

Jon Moxley has already clinched a spot in the semifinals, no matter what happens in his last block match. The worst case scenario for Mox is if he loses to Jay White and Swerve Strickland beats Rush, creating a Mox-Jay-Swerve deadlock for first place. I guess if that happens the semifinal becomes a three-way, but even then Moxley still controls his fate.

If Jay beats Moxley, then they both go to the semifinals. If they go to a draw, though, then Jay needs Rush to beat Swerve.

If Swerve wins, he's in. If he and Rush go to a draw, he needs Mox to win or draw.

Rush is still alive, but he can only make the semifinals if he and Moxley both win their final block matches.

My prediction is that we'll get the Mox-Jay-Swerve tie. I keep wondering why the semis are Gold1 vs. Gold2 and Blue1 vs. Blue2, when Gold1 vs. Blue2 and Blue1 vs. Gold2 would provide fresh matchups. The best reason I can come up with to do it this way is to make the three-way possible.

As far as Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal goes, I figure Mark wins and Lethal stays at 0, to build up a story about Jay wondering if he's better off without Jeff Jarrett's crew.

Blue League

Andrade El Idolo and Bryan Danielson control their destiny. If Andrade wins or draws, he's in the semifinals. If Bryan wins or draws, he's in.

Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli both have to win to stay alive. But if they both win, we'll end up with a four-way tie for first place at 9 points. If Brody King also wins, it'll be a five-way tie. It's not clear how such ties would be resolved. Basically it'd be better for Eddie if Claudio doesn't win, and vice-versa. I don't think either of them would benefit if Brody to wins.

Brody can only reach the semifinals on one of those multi-way tie scenarios. To get there he needs to win, and for Eddie and/or Claudio to win. But since I'm not sure the tiebreakers work in his favor, that still might not be enough. If this was New Japan, I would predict he loses to Daniel Garcia, just to keep things straightforward. But since it's AEW, I don't know how wacky they're willing to get.

Prediction: Danielson and Eddie go to the semifinals, and that "EDDIE IS A BUM" sign comes back into the picture. Also I think Garcia avoids a loss against Brody, to get at least 1 point on the board.

CODENAME: CANDY EVENT !!

Part Two:

A romantic jingles plays over the speaker, signalling the end of round one. The initial guesses are collected, and participants are asked to return to their seats. From behind a second red curtain, a giant wheel is revealed, with 28 codenames squeezed onto 28 pizza slices.

The wheel spins. Breaths are held.

Pink Tiara!

The name is placed on a second board for all to see. Underneath the slice, a new name is revealed (hinting that there are, in fact, 56 names on the board).

The wheel spins again. There are a few oo’s and aa’s from the audience.

Another name is chosen (Cube) and placed beside the first, revealing that the pizza slices do, in fact, form the shape of a heart when placed side by side.

The game goes on until all names have been paired, and there are 27 hearts on the wall.

The next part of the game commences. After some murmuring from the staff and excited chatter from the crowd, participants are eventually asked to line up in an orderly fashion. One by one, they are asked to step forward and are (discreetly) handed the codenames and clues belonging to their partner.

From there, all players have 20 minutes to find their partner according to the clues. Once again, do not reveal your codename unless your partner guesses correctly.

Once you have confirmed you have the right partner, make your way back to a member of staff to draw your activity from the bingo ball (of love)!
