˗ ˋ 🌊 CONTENT WARNING ﹕ based off the tiktok trend where people trauma dump while making a candy salad, duh. so, trauma dumping but everything mentioned is not in detail! mentions of abusive parents, homophobia, fat shaming, drug addiction, grooming, sexual abuse, cps, suicide, and death. again, none are in graphic detail and are portrayed in a slightly comedic light. here's dowon's introduction piece, just pretend he's been here the whole time instead of jacob lol!

Jisung is illuminated by an iPhone's camera flash, blinking at the camera as he proudly holds up a bag of peach rings. He looks beyond the camera for his sign to start speaking before looking back at the lens, smiling professionally.

"Hi, my name is Jisung, and when I was 5 years old, my mom decided to take my dad to court for child support, and he got really mad and ordered a hit out on her," Jisung shares with a nod, trying to fight back laughter as he lifts the bag of candy. "And I brought peach rings." He announces as he dumps the bag into the large plastic bowl in front of him.

Dawning a blue hoodie and tousled blond hair, Finn smiles politely at the camera.

"Hey, I'm Finn, and I became addicted to drugs when I was seventeen, so now I have these massive gaps in my memories where I have no idea what happened, but I know it wasn't good," he says with ease, dumping the bag of green gummies into the bowl with a thud.

Kiwoo poses naturally when the camera is on him, holding his bag of M&Ms off to the side of him like he's a game show host.

"Hi, my name is Kiwoo, and when I was 18, my sister killed herself when our parents were out of the country, so I had to be the one to identify her decaying body. I brought M&Ms." He gives a peace sign before dumping the bag of M&Ms into the bowl with a dull clatter.

Noah can't bite back his laughter when the camera is on him, curling his lips in before waving shortly to the camera.

"Hey, I'm Noah. When I was 16, my mom died in the hospital, and when we were doing her honor walk, my dad leaned over to me and whispered, "This is all your fault." and then acted like nothing happened." Noah nods at the camera as his lips form a line before looking at the bag of candy in his hand. "I brought Nerds Gummy Clusters!" He cheers with a forced smile, dumping the candy into the bowl.

Woojin snorts when the camera is on him, tucking his long black hair behind his ear. "Hi, I'm Woojin, and when I was being sexually abused by our manager, I told our CEO in hopes of getting her fired, but, um, I got fired instead! Um," He looks at the bag in his hand, chuckling softly. "I brought blue raspberry gummy straws." the straws land with a dull thud in the bowl when he dumps them out.

Blue blinks at the camera before looking off at the murmuring off-screen, laughing at something Finn said before lifting up his small bag of Sourpatch Kids. "My name is Blue, and when I was 6, my dad threw a vase at my head because he thought I was gay," Blue laughs when the words leave his mouth, the rest of the room laughing with him as he lifts the bag up victoriously. "I brought Sourpatch Kids Watermelons!" He cheers, dumping them in the bowl.

Dowon pushes his hair back with one hand before waving to the camera, unenthused by this group activity suggested by Finn. "I'm Dowon, I'm the leader of DeepDive, and when I was 18, I had a really toxic girlfriend who always argued with me over anything and threatened to kill herself when I tried to break up with her. So, one day, we were arguing over the color of my shirt, and she said she was going to kill herself for the 2000th time, and I said, "Then do it," and she actually attempted to do so in my room," He tells the camera like he's talking to a news reporter before looking at the candy bag in his hand, smiling dumbly. "I brought gummy bears." He simply pours them into the bowl.

Jisung is laughing when the camera is back on him, clearing his throat before waving to the camera.

"Hey, it's me Jisung again, and when I was, like, ten? I met my dad for the first time because he was trying to sue my mom for defamation, and the first time he saw me-" Jisung can't stop himself from laughing, causing the others in the room to laugh as well; he covers his mouth before clearing his throat again to collect himself. "When he saw me for the first time, he made the most disgusted face ever and said "I can't believe I helped create something like you." and proceeded to call me a bastard for the rest of the trial." His voice is tight from trying not to laugh before he lifts the bag of candy. "I brought blue gummy sharks." When he dumps the gummy sharks out, they land in the bowl, all clustered together with a dull thud.

Finn is already laughing when the camera is on him, looking off at someone and laughing harder before he looks back at the camera. "I'm Finn, and when I was eighteen, I had a much older girlfriend who got me addicted to coke, like cocaine, the drug, and one night when we were getting high, I was talking to her, and she was really quiet for a long time so when I looked over I realized she had overdosed and died." Finn makes a face that reads, "What can you do?" before shrugging and holding up his bag of candy. "I brought pink starburst." he dumps the wrapped candy into the bowl, shaking the bag slightly.

Kiwoo sighs at the camera before looking off at Finn. "How the hell am I supposed to follow that?" The room laughs at the other's lament, causing Kiwoo to smile softly before the camera cuts to him sitting up straight and looking at the camera.

"My name is Kiwoo, and when I came out to my parents, my dad said," Kiwoo can't stop himself from laughing, covering his mouth with the back of his hand. "My dad said, "We already knew that." and went back to eating dinner like nothing happened. I brought KitKats." He turned the bag upside down, dumping the candy into the almost-full bowl.

Noah points to the bag of sour gummy worms in his hand, nodding. "I'm Noah. Hey. And for the past seven years, I've been in a relationship with our former manager, who is much older than me and started dating me when I was, like, sixteen, and she would get really mad at me when I would talk to girls my age. So, now, even though we don't see each other anymore, whenever I talk to a girl my age I get hit with an impending sense of dread and paranoia. I brought the sour gummy worms."

Blue smiles stiffly at the camera when it's on him, looking off to the side and realizing he has to follow that up. He sucks air through his teeth.

"I'm Blue, and when I was ten, my dad came back from a business trip and started yelling at my mom that she had gotten fat and then grabbed her face and started shaking her. So, I shoved him really hard, and he fell over and broke his arm because he was an old man. Then he threatened to sue me. Again, I was ten." Blue looks at the bag in his hand before raising it like he was cheers'ing at a bar. "I brought Skittles." When he dumps the bag of Skittles in the bowl, they scatter around the candy with a clatter.

"Hi, I'm Woojin," Woojin says, wasting no time when the camera is on him again, "When I was seven, I lived in America with my mom, and we lived in a motel because we were poor and one day, CPS came and took me away, but they promised I would see my mom again and foster care was only temporary, but now I'm twenty-three and I haven't seen my mom since," Woojin blinks at the camera, chuckling softly before giving a finger heart, causing someone to cackle off-screen. "Love you, mom. I brought strawberry cloud gummies." He laughs as he dumps the bag of pink candy into the bowl.

Dowon sighed when the camera was on him again, tilting his head at it as the others laughed around him, making him break into a smile. He shrugs his broad shoulders.

"What's up, guys. I'm Dowon, and my mom? She was an alcoholic who only started talking to me again once I got rich and famous. I don't remember anything from my childhood thanks to her." He snaps at the camera like he just said something cool and not traumatic before pointing to the bag in his hand. "I'm topping this all off with some chocolate-covered pretzels." Dowon unceremoniously dumps the chocolate-covered pretzels into the filled bowl, laughing under his breath.

It cuts to a shot of Woojin shaking the bowl of candy up with intense concentration, brows knit, and lips pressed into a line as Finn works at stirring it with a plastic fork. The camera work is similar to being in a club, moving close in on the boys, then bouncing away, disorienting at best and nauseating at worst.

The last shot of the video shows Finn proudly showing the camera the candy salad, holding the bowl like a newborn infant instead of a bowl of candy. "All our trauma is in here," Finn jokes, motioning around the candy with his finger.

"That's not even all of it," Blue jokes off-screen, obviously chewing on a gummy bear. "We'd need a much bigger bowl for all that."

Supernatural Taste and Smell Headcanons

I included a lot of characters (I think 24?), but if your fave didn't make the cut, just send me an ask!

Dean

Smell: Leather, cinnamon, and the kind of musk that only comes from an axe body spray, cause you know what man only buys whatever is quick and easy at the gas station. He’d also smell like gasoline.

Taste: Malty like beer, but sweet in the way bbq sauce is sweet.

Sam

Smell: I just feel like (when he’d not hunting) he smells clean, ya know? Citrusy and woody, kind of like D&G light blue, with undertones of like a ‘fresh’ scented fabric softener.

Taste: Kind of fruity but tart, like a berry smoothie.  Also just a little bit of like garlic, or mustard.

John

Smell: That man is a smoker, and you can’t tell me otherwise – at least later in life, way after the marines, and losing Mary. He always has a stale smoke smell on his clothes and lips. I recon he uses old spice or similar as an aftershave, so also like cloves/sage.

Taste: Again smoky, ashy, but also oaky and malty like bourbon.

Mary

Smell: Citrusy like Sam but darker, smokier (joke not intended) with hints of like jasmine, bergamot, and a little bit of vanilla. 100% the kind of smell that wraps you up if you come in for a hug.  

Taste: Chocolate, specifically the kinds with nuts and caramel, woman has a sweet tooth.

Castiel

Smell: I feel like all angels smell at least a little like parma violets, or some kind of sweet and subtle floral smell, be especially Cas. On top of that, he’d have like other earthy scentes, like honey,  patchouli, maybe a bit of amber.

Taste: Coffee, always coffee. When human/when he eats; grape jelly, and honey.

Jack

Smell: Like Cas he has the sort of clean, floral scent to him. I also think he would smell of peppermint and like a yankee candle version of warm vanilla. He just has a cosy, familiar smell to him.

Taste: Again I think minty, additionally like white chocolate and rose/flora flavours.

Bobby

Smell: Like old books, burnt candle wicks, motor oils, and nose hair singing whisky.

Taste: More than anyone else on this list (including Crowley) Bobby tastes like whisky. Not the good stiff though, that’s only for special occasions. He taste like Jim Beam and Jack Daniels.

Crowley

Smell: Like a bonfire!!! Smokey, warm, woody, with a hint of burnt sugar.

Taste: 100% Whisky, and dark chocolate.

Charlie

Smell: Charlie smells like she just stepped out of a fantasy book, like wildflowers, and peppercorn. Like strawberry and blackcurrant wine.

Taste: Like a vegan alternative to Nutella, creamy, chocolatey, nutty.

Meg

Smell: Surprisingly soft and clean. Milky, with almond and peach. Just a hint of leather and cedarwood underneath.

Taste: Salty and sweet, anise: like a strawberry liquorice.

Ruby

Smell: Like cedarwood, ginger, and pink pepper. Pleasant but sharp, and strong. Like it pulls you in from across the room.

Taste: Bold and sweet like cabernet sauvignon, starkly contrasted by pepperoni and cheesy pasta.

Lucifer

Smell: Similar to Jack, in that he smells clean and minty. However, his is sharper, harsher. There is lime, and moss, and mahogany.

Taste: Like pure Moroccan mint, with that like sweet sourness you get on things like a tangfastics or a sourpatch kid. Like if you’re not expecting it, or you taste it for to long it will make you squirm.

Gabriel

Smell: Like walking into the kitchen of a bakery just before opening and they’re prepping everything. Mocha, malted sugar, rich caramel, creamy vanilla.  

Taste: All of the above again! Just so sweet and creamy. Like a spoonful of sugar.

Raphael

Smell: Very similar to Cas, floral, but less earthy, and more sterile. Like aloe vera and antiseptic.

Taste: Again, very clean. He has a flavour the way cucumber has flavour? Refreshing, clean, but not notable.

Michael/Adam 😍

Smell: Kind of like the ocean, meets the forrest. Musk, white lilies, salt, collided with pine, sandalwood, and cedar. Cold, but familiar, ya know?

Taste: Hear me out: Fruit loops, and Dr Pepper. Like Michael has little say over what they eat, that’s all on Adam. And after the initial, ‘I haven’t eaten in 1200 years, I’m gonna eat everything I craved’ has worn off. He’s just like, a normal guy (who does not need to eat because he shares his body with an immortal angel). So, I can see him mostly reaching for snacks that make him feel good, that remind him of his mum, or his childhood, something comforting; like sugary cereals and fizzy drinks. I love them, I will take no criticism.

Rowena

Smell: Like an apothecary. Rich and indulgent. Very aromatic with lots of deep woody tones, sweet cherry, dark rose and other florally scents.

Taste: Like a bottle of mataro, or Nebbiolo wine. Spice, cherry, plum, smoke. She both smells and tastes intoxicatingly expensive.   

Chuck

Smell: Kind of musky, cottony, leafy. I don’t really imagine him smelling too strongly of anything.

Taste: Summary and tart, like a sea breeze cocktail. (Grapefruit, cranberry, lime – an acquired taste)  

Amara

Smell: Similar to Chuck, I sort of envision an absence of smell. Maybe just hints of amber, sandalwood, and a musky citrusy scent.

Taste: Like a white dessert whine, like Riesling. Dry but sweet. Honey, and pears.

Billie

Smell: Bergamot, rose, silk, and cocoa. Inviting and pleasant, but with an undertone of darkness.

Taste: Very similar to scent, sweet and warm but with an aftertaste of something bitter; blackcurrant and dark chocolate

Benny

Smell: Robust (Copper, ginger, tobacco,) but enticing (amber, cardamom, cinnamon).

Taste: I mean, I have tried really had to not add blood to any of the previous entries, but Benny undeniably tastes like blood.

Kevin

Smell: Not good. Pre-prophethood, not so much; I imagine like mint, green tea, jasmine, the kind of smell you would expects from a reasonably priced aftershave. During prophethood, the aftershave is long forgotten; its more fried chicken, old paper, and forgetting to shower for 9 days.

Taste: Like redbull, chexmix, and mouthwash.

Eileen

Smell: Like peaches, and roses, rich chocolate, and strong coffee.

Taste: Chocolate and coffee again, but hints of sparkly summer fruits.

Ketch

Smell: Like high end British aftershaves only the royal family know off, something with notes of fig, and oud, and other pretentious smells. The small of cigar smoke, and leather follow him around too.

Taste: Like earl grey tea, and dry gin.

Balthazar

Smell: Kind of like ketch, some high end and expensive (if he actually had to pay for it). But woodsier, and fresh. He would also have that hidden undertone of violet.

Taste: Creamy and hazelnutty, but there’s a constant aftertastes alcohol, and something metallic to him, no  matter what comes first.

QC: non-sour fruit candy, especially skittles and starburst. favorite ever is the pink starburst (i forget the actual flavor lol)

Min: chocolate with stuff. I think he likes those reeses cups with all the stuff in them (like caramel, pretzels, etc), and his favorite is snickers

Berta: plain chocolate. Also a fan of plain reeses cups, but yeah plain herseys is his favorite

Sunny: sour candy. Favorite is either watermelon sourpatch kids and blue jolly ranchers

June: doesn't like candy :( cares too much about her health

Riri: usually just takes whatever the other's don't want (they have many spider rings and plastic bats) but their favorite candy is gummy worms

A scowl adorned his features while he stared intently at his pants, the dark red ruining what once was light blue. He had once stolen this same pair of pants from a boy in the nineties. He tasted like marijuana and sourpatch kids. Was it why his clothes were so fashionable? ⸻ Well, whatever it was, this particular piece of high fashion was now destroyed. Just his luck. His feet tracked mud inside the house when he entered, uncaring and unsurprised by the so familiar presence. He knew she would come. Was expecting her arrival eagerly. So it wasn't a surprise his anger melted instantly, a joyful bright smile on his lips as gentle fingertips stained the walls with blood. "Hi Lana!" Well fed and satisfied, he didn't worry about the repercussions of his actions. His running away. Instead, pale and stained hands reached inside his pocket, holding the gecko in his open palm. "Say hi to Frank," he instructed his sister, but continued babbling as his other hand fetched another object from his pocket. 

"Look what I found!" A toothbrush. New and ripped from a package inside the house of his victim. "They use this to brush their fangs! Can you believe it? We brushed ours with hay! ⸻ Hey, can I borrow your clothes? Mine are ruined."

Do you drink Peace Tea? They're like Arizona tea, but have different flavors such as razzleberry (raspberry tea) and sno-berry (blue raspberry tea).

I've tried blue raspberry once! It reminded me of blue sourpatch kids- probably cos they're the same flavour..

I usually just stick with peppermint tea cos that's my favourite, though I could probably try the other peace tea flavours- I've seen them in stores before!

07: What did you last eat?

Sourpatch kids, this morning coworkers went up to the admin office to laminate something and they raided the candy drawer since no one was around and brought a bunch back to our office! So I grabbed some right before heading back to work from lunch.

16: How exactly are you feeling at the moment?

Mmm, more relaxed than I have been since I finally made a phone call relating to a new job that I've been stressed about since yesterday. The call went well and so that's a little bit of stress gone though it won't fully stop until I actually 100% have a job offer and know what I'm doing going forward. But also starting to get excited since I'm taking some vacation days next week and am going to go meet up with my sister and visit the Georgia Aquarium!

32: What is your favourite color?

The easy answer is blue though there's some very specific shades of light, almost caramel-y brown that I actually prefer but that's harder to explain

51: Favourite food?

Steak. T-bone or ribeye or really any steak on a bone that I can gnaw on like a feral animal.

58: Favourite weather?

Snow! Specifically fluffy snow, not the wet, slushy kind. Especially at night with an exterior light that you can turn on and just stare out the window as it drifts from the black night sky.

be warned: these bad boys have 200mg of caffeine each. if you have a low caffeine tolerance they will fuck you up (source: I once had a low caffeine tolerance. then I got a caffeine addiction. problem solved!)

tropical mango: the one flavor I have not tried because the colors of the can offend my eyes. the flavor might be good but the can is definitively ugly. two stars ⭐️⭐️

swedish fish: tastes like liquid swedish fish. if you like swedish fish you will be obsessed with this. four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

sour watermelon: exactly what is advertised. it is sour. it tastes like watermelon. solid drink. four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

orange cream: pretty much tastes like melted creamsicle that was left out in the sun for a few hours. three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

blue raspberry sourpatch: tastes like you blended blue raspberry syrup with some sourpatch kids. the better of the two sourpatch flavors. four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

sour pink lemonade: a perfect lemonade flavor with a pinch of sourness. if you don't like this flavor then maybe you just don't like energy drinks. five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

citrus: basically indistinguishable from sprite zero. two stars ⭐️⭐️

cherry limeade: if you actually like artificial cherry you'll think this is decent. if you're normal it'll make you nauseous. one star ⭐️

redberry sourpatch: tastes like red sourpatch kids but slightly to the left. good but not extraordinary. three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

sour green apple: very sour. like, so sour that your eyes will water. personally, I love it. four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
