Purple People Eater Drink
Via Sweet Tea + Thyme
Ingredients:
Blue Curaçao - I found non-alcoholic blue curacao in my local grocery store and online, but if you're making the cocktail version, use the regular liqueur.
Grenadine - this is a pomegranate syrup, very sweet. It helps to balance out the purple color and give sweetness.
Pomegranate Juice, Cranberry Juice, or Grape Juice - I used Cran-Pomegranate juice, which is much darker than regular cranberry, which is more of a bright red.
Sweet and Sour Mix - you can swap this for lemonade or lemon juice.
Club Soda, lemon lime soda, ginger ale, or other sparkling add in - top off your drink with some bubbles. I mean, y'all know me: it's rare that my drinks don't have some effervescence!
Canned Lychee Fruit and Frozen Blueberries - Use these to make the Purple People Eater's eyeball!
Measurements (by part):
1 part blue curacao
1 part sweet and sour mix
½ part grenadine
1 part pomegranate juice

Somewhere in the Caribbean with Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole
MOROCCO MOLE, somewhat perplexed at the label for Blue Curacao liqueur: So what exactly explains the orange-like flavour of this particular liqueur, even if it's dyed blue for some strange reason? SECRET SQUIRREL, with some pride in the voice: Morocco, I will have you know that blue curacao is derivate from a type of bitter orange endemic to Curacao in the Caribbean, whose aroma, for some bizarre reason, can be rather addicting! MOROCCO MOLE: Almost like Chanel No. 5? SECRET SQUIRREL: I would not go THAT far, Morocco. Try something like Florida Water.
