Blue Beetle trailer!!!

Okay. First off. I love how right from the trailer the movie is emphasizing family. Absolutely a core part of blue beetle!! There won't be any secret identity drama, and his family won't have to go through the pain of thinking he ran away or worse for a year. If the rest of the movie sucks, I'll be happy knowing his family loves him and will always be there for him.

I was worried about how the suit would look, mostly that it would be clunky and bulky, but I think they did a good job of having it look more like a suit vs armor. And those wings!! When they stopped right by the water they looked beautiful!!!! Overall, I think they did good making it look insectoid, especially khaji da's appendages. Also, scarab themself was so cute! Jaime holding scarab (before they leapt at his face) was adorable.

I'm really curious about the plot of the movie. I don't think it will be about the Reach. Maybe for a second movie, once we've established everything. So my best guess is La Dama as an antagonist, wanting the scarab, which would be fantastic. I would LOVE to see Paco and Brenda. Why aren't they in El Paso though. Rude.

Now the scarab!!!! One of the parts of blue beetle that makes them my favorite super hero is that it is the two of them! Not just Jaime and the scarab definitely not just a tool. So I really really really hope they give scarab a personality beyond AI assistant. I am hopeful with the joke of "nice choice" as Jaime spins around a sword.

I wonder how much Jaime vs Khaji Da there will be. What with the intense merge (horrifying I loved it!!!) and scarab dragging Jaime everywhere and suiting up in broad daylight causing property damage. But despite all this, I didn't get any horror movie vibes, like what the Venom movie thought it was trying to do. In fact, Jaime is explicitly told the scarab is designed to protect him. Khaji Da cut a bus in half to protect Jaime!! So maybe we'll get to their partnership faster than previous incarnations.

The blue beetle versions I've see have used Jaime's voice but a bit digitized for the scarab so a feminine voice will take some getting used to, but it's a cool change. I wonder how the voice will affect how current or new fans perceive khaki da. Currently, I use he/they for the scarab but I'd love to see more of she/her scarab.

On to Jaime! I like him a lot already! He has a loving, if over enthusiastic family. He is obviously going through it, but he's teasing his sister, having fun with a sword. Just from the trailer, I think they've done a great job at Jaime's easy going personality, as well as being someone who's willing to be a hero if it's for the people he loves.

Wow... I knew this day was coming and now it's here. The trailer may not be everything I hoped for, but nothing can be. It looks like a solid movie and I'll absolutely be seeing it when it comes out.

what were the things that you found most interesting about the Blue Beetle trailer?

Well, the most things that I found engrossing about the trailer is how they managed to pay justice to the comics in a way since I personally found 9 DC Universe Easter Eggs and references.

The first Blue Beetle trailer provides a wealth of information on Jaime Reyes' narrative, earlier Blue Beetles that have lived in this time-frame, and how Blue Beetle fits into the DC Universe. Although Jaime Reyes was the third figure to assume the identity of Blue Beetle in DC Comics history, Blue Beetle has been a superhero pseudonym since 1939. Prior to making his big-screen debut in Blue Beetle, starring Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, Jaime had made appearances in a number of animated TV Show episodes, animated movies, and video games.

Although nothing in the Blue Beetle trailer links it to the previous DCEU, it is also unclear from the trailer if Blue Beetle is a member of James Gunn's DC Universe.

1. Blue Beetle’s Trailer Teases DC’s The Reach

Jaime says in the trailer for Blue Beetle that "everything right now feels so out of reach." Despite the fact that this may just be an ordinary phrase, the words used here allude to important Blue Beetle antagonists from the comics—the Reach. The Reach are galactic conquerors that employ very cutting-edge technology to attack and seize control of worlds. They were first introduced as a part of Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle history but retconned into the prior Blue Beetles storylines. The Scarabs were made by the Reach and dispersed to other worlds. The Scarabs' task at that point was to locate local hosts and train them to act as lieutenants in the Reach invasion.

It is impossible to predict how Blue Beetle's origin narrative will develop in the next DC movie because Blue Beetle's Scarab was retconned as a mystical relic during DC Rebirth. That being said, the simplest approach to combine all prior Blue Beetles into one fairly straightforward tale would be to tie the origins of Blue Beetle's Scarab to extraterrestrial conquerors who have been plotting to conquer the globe since the Dan Garrett Blue Beetle days. The Reach may make for fantastic antagonists in a Blue Beetle sequel, but it is unknown whether they will feature in Blue Beetle in any manner.

2. Blue Beetle’s Scarab Is Sentient (And It Talks)

Jaime Reyes played the lead role in Young Justice season 2, also known as Young Justice: Invasion. For many people, the Blue Beetle narrative in Young Justice featured the Reach as primary enemies and served as their first exposure to the character. The Blue Beetle trailer implies that the next DC Universe film will draw inspiration from Young Justice's Blue Beetle, including the notion that the Scarab is sentient and can communicate with Jaime. The Scarab will be spoken by a new, as of yet unidentified actor in Blue Beetle as opposed to Young Justice, when both Jaime and the Scarab had the same voice.

3. Dan Garrett’s Blue Beetle Costume

The first Blue Beetle, who was formerly known as Dan Garret, first debuted in Fox Comics' Mystery Men Comics in 1939. Decades later, in 1986's Secret Origins Vol. 2, the first Blue Beetle would be introduced into the DC Comics canon, however it was based on the Charlton Comics version of the character. Dan Garrett, who came into contact with the Scarab while on an expedition, served as the first Blue Beetle according to the current DC Comics canon. Major mythology implications stem from Dan Garrett's Blue Beetle outfit in the Blue Beetle trailer, which indicates that superheroes have been around in this planet for some time.

4. Kord Industries Makes Its DC Movie Debut

One of the most significant fictional corporations in DC, along with Wayne Enterprises, Lex Corp, Hold Industries, and Queen Consolidates, is Kord Industries. Ted Kord, who worked as Dan Garrett's apprentice, was the second Blue Beetle in the current DC Comics universe. Ted Kord did not use the Scarab while he was a Blue Beetle, nor does he possess any superhuman abilities. Ted Kord's Blue Beetle outfit is another that can be seen in the Blue Beetle trailer. Although Ted Kord's Blue Beetle outfit is quite similar to Dan Garrett's, Ted Kord never used the Scarab to give him superpowers or any unique abilities. The Batman allusion in the Blue Beetle trailer is enhanced by the fact that Ted Kord's interpretation of the Blue Beetle is more similar to Batman than it is to Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle abilities. If Ted Kord does appear in Blue Beetle, it is unknown whether the future DC film will include the second Blue Beetle in action.

6. Blue Beetle’s Villain Is Victoria Kord

Blue Beetle: Graduation Day, a new Blue Beetle solo comic book, was published by DC Comics in advance of the publication of Blue Beetle. Although the latest Blue Beetle comic is set in the standard DC Comics chronology, it features ideas and characters from the impending film, as is customary when a major DC film is ready to come out. This includes Ted Kord's sister Victoria Kord, whose motivations were unclear in the comic. The Blue Beetle trailer, however, very certainly establishes Victoria Kord (Susan Sarandon) as the film's antagonist because she wants to recapture the Scarab that has since fused with Jaime Reyes.

7. Blue Beetle's Trailer References Batman (But Which One?)

When Jaime comments in the Blue Beetle trailer that the Ted Kord's Blue Beetle devices resemble something Batman might use, Rudy (George Lopez) responds, "Batman's a fascist." This conversation demonstrates that Batman lives in the world of the Blue Beetle. Which reality does Blue Beetle exist in, though? Blue Beetle is "a marvelous part of the DCU," according to James Gunn (via DC), despite the Blue Beetle movie's position as canon in the new DC Universe is not yet known. The Batman in question is the yet-to-be-cast character from The Brave and the Bold if Blue Battle occurs in Gunn's DC Universe plan.

8. Blue Beetle Keeps Jaime Reyes’ Comic Book Identity Twist

The Blue Beetle bug ship's existence is proof that Ted Kord was a superhero once upon a time in the Blue Beetle universe, albeit when and for how long is still unknown. It is not a coincidence that Blue Beetle's spacecraft resembles the Owlship from Watchmen, since Nite Owl was influenced by various DC characters, including Blue Beetle. The Blue Beetle spacecraft was designed by Ted Kord and does not use any technology from extraterrestrial life, just like the rest of the second Blue Beetle.

Jo Harding, una cacciatrice di tornado, si lancia insieme all'ex-marito Bill, meteorologo, e a una strampalata squadra di storm-chasers (cacciatori di tempeste) in un grande progetto: immettere all'interno di un tornado (in inglese detto anche twister) uno speciale strumento scientifico che permetterà di ricavare tutte le informazioni necessarie per costruire un piano di emergenza al verificarsi di tali violenti fenomeni. Nel film si susseguono tornado sempre più forti e i primi tentativi di Bill e Jo falliscono. Alla fine riusciranno a far funzionare il loro strumento all'interno di un devastante tornado di categoria F5.

Nel secondo episodio Axel Foley torna a Beverly Hills per andare a trovare il Capitano Andrew Bogomil che è stato gravemente ferito da un colpo di pistola. Qui si riunisce con i colleghi Billy Rosewood e John Taggart e decidono di trovare il colpevole, una donna bionda e altissima. Contro di loro il Capo della Polizia Harold Lutz che vuole licenziarli.

Antoinette è un'insegnante di Parigi che ha una relazione con il padre di una sua alunna. Lasciata sola dall'amante, che in estate non può esimersi dall'accompagnare moglie e figlia nelle Cévennes, catena montuosa nel sud della Francia, Antoinette decide di recarsi anche lei nelle località di vacanza e qui provare a insediare l'uomo che ama. In attesa del suo arrivo, passa le giornate facendo lunghe escursioni in compagnia di un asino chiamato Patrick e poco alla volta si affezione al luogo e alla propria indipendenza. L'incontro con la famiglia dell'uomo e le inevitabili tensioni della situazione la aiuteranno a dare un nuovo senso alla sua vita.

Just watched the 2023 Blue Bettle movie- (i am becoming Blue Bettle pilled)

This movie was so silly I loved Jaime and his family- which was of course the heart of the movie- I feel bad I didn't see it when it first came out cuz I saw the trailers and it did look cool but I just didn't know😔

It is too bad I feel like the Scarab was watered-down a bit- like all I know about Blue Beetle is the Young Justice show and in that show the Scarab is like an angry homcidal cat and Jaime and it are constantly arguing with each other and its really funny- So just having it be a fairly generic robot voice with less of the silly blood-lust was kind eh compared to that. If they do bring him back in the DCCU i hope they give them the Venom treatment because that just adds a whole other layer of fun to the character.

I also like how horrific the process of obtaining the Scarab was though- like it was a funny scene with his family freaking out but also it was Horrifying seeing what it was doing the Jaimes body like geez-

And ofc Jaime "I'm not a killer" Reyes, meanwhile his family is straight up mowing down the Kord soldiers xjdbsjjdbdb like Rudy stabbed that guy eith his bug machine- Nana shot so many people... theyre so silly. dont mess with the Reyes.

Anyway I liked the movie idk how well it did finicially but I hope he can at least come back in some combo movie in the future or smth-
