RED Demo - He's quite cheery! He's always in high spirits (just like the gibs he blows up) and his smile is just as happy. Physical embodiment of this here :D

BLU Demo - Has a bad case of RBF (he is often thinking about the kills he whiffed) but he's a charmerrr <3 his smiles are s-m-o-o-t-h

RED Heavy - Big, BIG smile - he often gives this smile before mowing a person down or giving them a big hug. Hope it's the latter!

BLU Heavy - More quiet and reserved and more likely to frown, but he's always happy to pass a small, quick smile to let you know, you're doing good

RED Engineer - Usually he's milling about with a tune on his lips, but once he sees you, he'll give a sweet, if a bit shy (if a bit embarrassed), smile

BLU Engineer - Big thinker whenever he's not running around moving his buildings. His smile's always a little off-guard but never unwelcoming (unless you're a spy)

oh yeah and here's a video i had to make to help me visualize sniper's journey behind enemy lines in chapter 4 (made in gmod, so forgive the wacky posing)(who am i kidding, it's freakin gmod that's what youre here for)

these thumbnails were jotted down in an absolute haze bc i really wanted to get them on paper before i forgot them >_> hence why my handwriting is all over the dang place

youll notice that chapter 3 went through this short period where i really, really wanted to draw out the projector scene from chapter 3:

It's as if he's standing in front of a blank screen. The projector stands before him. (...) Light flashes across his chest. That's all he sees: that light. The shapes that dance before him. The shapes he cannot make out--but that flash by, anyway.

but i couldnt for the life of me find a composition i actually liked. plus, if i had gone through with it, it would've used yellow, which wouldn't have matched the theme of red, blue, black, and white.

speaking of chapter art that didn't make the cut, chapter 5 initially looked very different from the one i ended up posting! i really wanted to emphasize the moment sniper breaks the phone, but perhaps it would've felt too tense, since it followed chapter 4's somewhat violent cover. that, and i thought itd be thematically and symbolically significant for the last piece of cover art to lack the color red entirely.

spy being on chapter 3's cover was not planned at ALL. he wasnt a big part of the chapter in the original draft, in fact i had implied that engie had sent him to talk to sniper, as opposed to him doing this of his own accord like he does in the final product.

sniper and scout's fight scene in chapter 2 wasn't planned, either! i added it bc i thought it would be nice to show that sniper cant just go around threatening people without reaping the consequences of it...scout is a grown ass, violent man. he wasnt about to take that shit lying down ya know?

I love it! Helmet Party is very cute, not one I ship myself but it’s very enjoyable to see and when I do see it it makes me smile 🤙

(I once again hc BLU Soldier not knowing how to show affection for shit. But he tries 👍)

finally! my contribution to #fixtf2 is done! it took about 8-9 in total, excluding creating refs in sfm(i don't remember how long it took).

i might have joined only about 2 months ago, but this game and community already became very dear to my heart. there are so many cool and creative people, and thanks to tf2 i've made new friends as well! i love it so much and i want for the game to be in a playable state again. so that everyone could enjoy a game of casual without spending hours trying to get into a lobby without bots and cheaters.

my love isn't blinded though and i've seen some issues with the movement both in-game and outside of the game. so here are some quick reminders for those who need it:

#fixtf2 is an ongoing peaceful protest. drawing sniper robots getting destroyed or killing bots in game with army of pocket medics by your side is fine. going out of your way to harass(or worse) anyone is not.

not everyone knows what's going on with tf2! if you see anyone questioning the movement - even if you think they might be a troll - cool down your head and tell what is going on and why. there are many videos explaining the situation, share them!

don't drop to your enemy's level. whether or not you believe #fixtf2 would end well, stay civil. if discussion starts going in the wrong direction, leave before it goes completely sour.

i really hope it goes well, but for it to happen we must work together in unity. think twice before you act, sign the petition if you didn't already and keep protesting!

as someone who was in the mines of "drawing a characters robotic arm from increasingly difficult angles" before, i yearn for those times. so heres my take on blu engie's gunslinger, based on modern prosthetic forearms

its worth noting that, before he cloned himself to create red engie, he had the original gunslinger, ie he was only missing his hand. he decided to upgrade himself not only bc he had the means to, but bc he wanted to differentiate himself from his clone so that he would always be distinctly the original, even if he would be the only one to know that
