My friendo I wish to add onto to this because this is a thing I take a bit personally.

Someone can be fully held accountable for their actions without having to be treated with hate or violence. Sure, not everyone owes it to that person/character/whatever to HAVE to be happy with it or to forgive them personally, or on any level. Forgiveness is not owed even if change is made, accountability is taken, or genuine regret is had. That is 100% up to each person and allowed. What I am NOT game for, however, is the belief that you should answer violence with violence and it be okay because "it's for the good guys". Violence, more often than not, only breeds more violence. Kindness breeds connection and redemption and change for the better.

And another thing that I will hold firmly to is that "you don't owe people forgiveness" and "people are allowed to be forgiven" can and should co-exist.

People are allowed to love characters that have done terrible things. People are allowed to hate those characters.

Characters AND people are ALLOWED TO CHANGE AND HAVE GROWTH. They are allowed to be treated with love and kindness. They are allowed to be happy. They are allowed to take accountability for their actions and still be treated with unconditional kindness.

Because if they aren't, then I truly have no hope that things will ever get better. Not everything is black and white, having a "Good vs Bad and that's all there is too it" is such an elementary belief. Things aren't that simplistic in fiction or in life.

Oooo I have so much more to say but I'm going to end this here before I start rambling. I'll get too worked up.

The default paint is still under there, so everywhere the factory paint was blorped out of place, there are still paint bloorps, like on that one leaf there.

That way if at any time anyone that owns this pony wants to take her back to her factory paint, or wants to better match the colors (😬) it’s relatively easy to do so.
