it's autumn, and this time we're starting the season with the eclairs. this was the first season i played where i randomized the order of households to keep things fresh. and having played roughly one season and a half like this, i've come to really enjoy it and recommend doing it if you do rotational play

Day three of Kakagai Valentines Day: Hanahaki

What if there was a world where Kakashi and Gai were not each others first loves?

Kakashi looked longingly at Obito, as petals fell from his lips, before heading to the doctor to get them removed before anyone could discover his affliction.

Where Gai kept on glancing at another kid in class. Going up to them quickly with the flowers he coughed up, shoving the budding bouquet into the other's face, before harshly being rejected.

For a while, both thought they would never love again. When one day, Dai took their hands and the remains of the flowers they kept, and helped plant them in the field behind Konoha. Explaining that although it hurt, this was merely the first time their youthful hearts would bloom. That one day when the time was right, love would sprout from their hearts again, and when that happened the flowers that will take root would grow larger and more beautiful than before, sonlong as the right person recieves them.

Both boys were skeptical of his words but many years later, Kakashi felt the familiar itch in his throat as Gai grew stronger and more beautiful before him. Where Gai kept spitting up pettles every time he caught a glimpse of his rival's smile. The hanahaki had returned...

This time, Kakashi did not automatically seek out a doctor, and quietly prepared a few flowers to let Gai see...

This time, Gai waited, carefully cultivating the flowers before presenting them to Kakashi in a gentle way.

This time, the right person recieved their flowers, and a garden grew from their love.
