All of the Demigods in camp-half blood have some sort of useless power.

Zeus: Can (kinda) predict where lighting will strike

Poseidon: Always get the best waves when surfing

Hades: Don't feel sick looking at pictures of dead bodies

Demeter: Make a BANGING fruit salad

Apollo: His kids can -and will- stare at the sun (just to freak their dad out)

Hermes: Can always bond with middle children (even if not middle child themselves)

Athena: Never get papercuts

Ares: Can always get people angry enough to fight. (Only if it's a topic their passionate about)

Aphrodite: Never get frizzy hair.

Hephaestus: Always screw, screws the right way first time

Dionysius: Stage changes!?!?! They can literally do them in like a blink of am eye. It's scary.

Hestia: Can cook food perfectly on a raw fire

Headcannon: Percy is immensely popular among nature spirits and "minor" gods

Oceanids & Nereids

It starts small.

The Nereids and Oceanids are naturally curious about him when they find out about his existence, that’s already canon:

She (a nereid) nodded. “It has been many years since a child of the Sea God has been born. We have watched you with great interest.”

Suddenly, I remembered faces in the waves of Montauk Beach when I was a little boy, reflections of smiling women. (The Lightning Thief, chapter 17)

Later, at the latest by the time Titan’s curse happens, nereids and oceanids see him save ocean creatures from fishing gear, or whales stranded on beaches, or him helping mermaids with hanging nails. (Titan’s curse, chapter 7)  We see him be considerate and respectful to nereids through his interaction in the fourth book at the ranch.

She looked like she was ready for a fight. Her fists were balled, but I thought I heard a little quaver in her voice. Suddenly, I realized that, despite her angry attitude, she was afraid of me. She probably thought I was going to fight her for control of the river , and she was worried, she would lose.

The thought made me sad. I felt like a bully, a son of Poseidon throwing his weight around.

I sat down on a tree stump. “Okay, you win.”

The naiad looked surprised. (The Battle of the Labyrinth, chapter 9)

It’s pretty good established in the books, that smaller gods and spirits don’t get treated with respect most of the time, especially not from heroes of old like Herakles and the Olympian gods. The reaction of the naiad adds to this sentiment, so we can pretty easily conclude that the way Percy treats them, is relatively rare.

In-between the books, Rick often sprinkles in some interactions between Percy and naiads, which further underlines their positive opinion of him:

I looked over the edge of the boat and found a couple of naiads staring at me. They looked like regular teenage girls, the kind you’d see in any mall, except for the fact that they were underwater.

Hey, I said. They made a bubbling sound that may have been giggling. I wasn’t sure. I had a hard time understanding naiads.

We’re heading upstream, I told them. Do you think you could-

Before I could even finish, the naiads each chose a canoe and began pushing us up the river. (Titan’s curse, Chapter 14)

Satyrs & Dryads:

The satyrs know that he, Clarisse, Annabeth, Tyson and Grover were the ones, who returned the golden fleece to camp half-blood and so, have stopped satyrs from getting killed by Polyphemus. During the battle of the labyrinth, Percy is the one who extinguished the fire and stopped the trees and dryads from getting burnt to death. Not to mention that he is best friends with the guy, who discovered Pan and has the title of Lord of the Wild.

“Minor” Gods:

The non-Olympian gods, like Hecate, Nemesis, Eros, Hebe and Morpheus were probably curious about him, even wary, but nothing more at first, until Percy managed to stop the civil war between Zeus and Poseidon at the age of twelve.  

We know that canonically, this already earned him the respect of many different beings:

As I walked back through the city of the gods, conversations stopped. The muses paused their concert. People, and satyrs and naiads all turned towards me, their faces filled with respect and gratitude, and as I passed, they knelt, as if I were some kind of hero.” (The Lightning Thief, chapter 21)

By the time the war with Kronos further escalates and they join his side, this obviously changes again. From this moment on, Percy is their enemy, and probably nothing more for most of them.

But then, they lose, and probably expect the worst of consequences.

Gods who have crossed Zeus have suffered severe punishments before. Prometheus was bound to a rock, with an eagle eating his liver every day because he stole fire from the gods, gifted it to humanity and tricked Zeus, the titans were banished to Tartarus after the Titanomachy. After some of the gods rebelled and tried to overthrow Zeus, Hera got hung in the sky with golden chains, where she cried out all night in pain, while Apollo and Poseidon were forced to work as labourers for King Laomedon of Troy.

They probably expected to get thrown into Tartarus with the rest of the Titans, get stripped of their immortality, or worse. Instead, however, their children finally receive cabins at camp half-blood and they themselves receive full amnesty.

All because Percy Jackson, this 16-year-old teenager, decides to change the entire thousand year old status quo on Olympus.  

He could have wished for anything after their victory over Kronos and the titan army. The choice was not between the oath he made the gods swear and him becoming a god. He could have wished to be left alone, or to never have to do a quest again, or live a happy, and peaceful life away from the pain and wars until the end of his days, or literally anything else, but he didn’t. He made the active choice to make Olympus fairer, and to create equality among the demigods, without even thinking about it for too long.

No one can convince me that this, and his already mentioned other actions, didn’t earn him the respect of huge parts of the mythological world.

Not even Rick himself (no matter how much he may try in his new books)

● the moment Mr. D left camp half-blood, the gods made Odysseus camp- counsler

● adding to that, once Annabeth and athena found out it was only Odysseus who had to be at camp, they sent a thirty page letter to zeus to make penelope and telemachus co- counslers

● Odysseus avoids the stables like the pest (horses are posidons sacred animal, the he created)

● (assuming she's still at camp) Annabeth would look up to Odysseus, since she's her idol

● Odysseus has mixed feeling about percy, because

a) he's posidons kid

And b) percy reminds him of himself

(Also, his feelings about Tyson are.....complicated)

●telemachus is like, the older brother figure for everyone

●penelope and Odysseus both act as parental figures as well

● the Hermes cabin has "wouldn't you like" on repeat , and vibes completely to it

PJO Future AU head-cannon stuff (some ARE taken from other peoples head-cannons bc they’re awesome):

- Will Solace would not be a medic/be in the medical field— I feel like just because he’s good at it doesn’t mean he likes it. Maybe he’d be a teacher because of his leadership skills.

- I feel like from working in the infirmary and having people close to him pass, Nico would choose a medical field job. I feel like he’d be an RN (registered nurse) or doctor and work at like an urgent care (er is too crazy for him— or maybe it wouldn’t and he’d like the chaos)

- I also feel like there’d be a not so great injury and Nico would be like “Oh let me see” then see it and be like “oh that’s really cool” not much would phase him— or it would but he’d find it fascinating

- I feel like the fact that they didn’t have these new kinds of tech when Nico was growing up also adds to his fascination. Like what do you mean x-Ray machines exist?

- I feel like Percy would do well with water jobs— like maybe he’d be a marine biologist and he’d find it fun to just communicate with the ocean life.

- Frank and Hazel would take a lot of dual credit classes or graduate early from highschool so they could focus on the camp— like they’d take online stuff so they could spend more time focusing on camp. (hope that makes sense) I’m not sure what I think their careers would be.

- Leo would own his own mechanic shop after going to trade school (saw on tiktok)

- Jason (revived) would be a professor of history— probably mythology.

- As a Valgrace shipper (dont judge pls) I think that they’d get together shortly after Jason is revived (not too short— six months after?) because they’ve been through a lot already and don’t want to risk anything again.

Now, onto kids because I don’t see these often but I find it fun to imagine:

- Frank would be a girl dad. He’s got two daughters and is just so happy with them and Hazel.

- Percy and Annabeth would have three kids, two girls and a son, in that order. I feel like Percy and Annabeth would work hard to have good relationships with their kids and finally relax. I feel like they’d be sorta protective but also be very relaxed with them- educate them about being mature and making good choices.

- I feel like Annabeth would realize how important names were and try to name her kids after popular figures in history who had good stories

- Will and Nico would probably have two kids, both adopted, but one would be one of Will’s half-siblings/half-nephews. The kid was really little, like four or five, when he got to camp and Will just kinda adopted him so he didn’t have to be full-time at camp. They also have a daughter but not until the son is like 12. She’s also adopted and is also a half-blood but I feel like they wouldn’t know who her godly parent is until she’s 12 and then be shocked because she’s like a child of Zeus.

- Leo and Jason would wait a while and focus on their relationship and careers. Then they’d adopt two daughters (not at the same time) and raise them where they don’t know about half-bloods until they’re older. They’d probably be half-bloods so that way they could raise them the way they wished they were raised. Leo and Jason don’t want them to have to see and experience the stuff they had to at such a young age.

- I don’t think any of them would name their kids after any of their late friends. I saw someone, a while ago, bring up that it could result in bad memories or just not be an okay time yet to do so. So— I don’t think that Annabeth would name her kid Silena and I don’t think Nico would name his kid Bianca.

- However, I do feel like Annabeth and Percy would name their eldest Sally after Percy’s mom (it would work well with the headcannon that Annabeth would name her kids after people with good stories) and have her middle name be a positive powerful historical figure.

(I realize I left Piper out— I’ve been forgetting a lot about characters recently and need to go back and reread HOO in order to grasp what I think she’d do in the future)

🔆 Apollo visits graves of his children ever so often and talks to them about his life and etc. (he also shows the pictures of his new children to the gravestones)

🔆 Zeus cut Apollo's hair before throwing him out and draining him out of the powers in front of everyone (for me, Apollo's hair have a significance as an important part of him an the thing he treasures a lot; so, his father taking it away from him publicly must have mess him up a little bit)

🔆 Lester rarely ate while in the roadtrip and slept; he managed to have an argument with Meg about it and then beat himself up about it

🔆 Apollo is the one who tells the demigod's parents that their child is dead

🔆 Lester's most common way to self-harm is scratching himself violently, especially his palms as he can't stop seeing blood on them, just dripping down

🔆 He also had vivid nightmares of demigods/his loved ones dying in front of him and/or raising back from the dead with blacks voids instead of their eyes and blaming/taunting him for something; adding to that, he also got nightmares where Leto or Artemis with blank faces (no nose, mouth or eyes, etc.) would appear before him and just stand there, silently, listening to him trying to talk to them, to get them to reply to him

🔆 Apollo can feel the humans dying and stars burning out (it's a feeling he shares with Artemis, resembles a harsh blow of hot air in the lungs but then it turns ice-cold and ears ring loudly, as if the gas balls are screaming); he felt it with Jason, but just a faint feeling, not the full one: he also can feel how the humans lose their spark/potential/will to life and he grieves with them about it

Thinking about Hera/Juno HEAVY so here are some headcannons for her that aren’t just ‘ooh jealoussss!’:

—

• calls every Mortal (and even her IMMORTAL children) she meets ‘Baby’ or ‘Son/Daughter/My child’ because she is THE Sky Mother of the cosmos and she genuinely views mortals as her children to look after and visit and love just as any other mother would.

• instead of being Jealous of Zeus’ escapades and hating the victims, she’s come to realize that Zeus does not love them. She has an understanding that the objects of his obsessions are not truly wise to his tricks, and therefore it would be unfair to punish them. And while she loves Zeus deeply, she understands that he is a being with free will. And sometimes beings with free will, even immortal and powerful ones, can make numerous mistakes and act childishly. She encourages him to never lie to her, and is stern with him when he cheats, but he does make efforts to act more appropriately when he slips.

• She’s become increasingly happy as she’s left Olympus more and become more active in the Mortal realm. She loves blessing Weddings between halfbloods, and she loves helping deliver Babies in hospitals and taking care of the Mothers as well.

• Helps turn Olympian Politics into a healthier system and makes sure new systems are put in place to help solve the gods’ political problems in a healthy and useful manor. If anyone has something bugging them on Olympus, Mom will definitely help sort things out without being Biased or showing Favoritism.

•Has a GIANT and I mean HUGE ‘Family Reunion’ day each year on Olympus where the gods are ALL expected to put their duties in the hands of their Nature Spirits or other Workers and COME HOME FOR DINNER. They pretend to be really inconvenienced but not once has anyone ever said they weren’t coming.

• anyone who prays in relation to their family, especially for their marriage or a mother praying for her child/a child praying for their mother always comes to be blessed by Hera/Juno.

• Moves all of the Unclaimed half-bloods into her cabin. It was a monumental occasion because she came down herself, marched right up to the Hermes cabin, and politely asked all of the Unclaimed kids to come home with her. She then leads them to her cabin where Cookies and new Bunks are waiting for them. Chiron was ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED but something about this new attitude of hers was refreshing and he loved the idea.

• Juno started THE daycare of New Rome. Any family that is blessed to survive long enough to have a child in New Rome is FIERCELY protected by her.

• if any Half-blood teenager were to come to either camp Pregnant, Hera/Juno automatically throws her own Symbol above them to show she is watching and protecting them. She also does this to urge the parent of the half-blood to claim them. (For the record though if a half-blood comes to camp pregnant Hera and her staff have full claim to them. Yes their godly parent is still gonna claim them, and eventually they move out if they so choose, but The Hera Cabin is THE cabin a new or expecting Parent would want to be in.)

• Camp Jupiter had to expand because Juno likes to come to earth and sniff out Roman Half-Bloods as young as possible and just kind of… takes them home with her to camp.

Anyway, it was aboit story and headcannons. The reader is twin of Poseidon and married to Hades due Kronos who arranged it. She is very loved by her siblings and Poseidon beloved twin (the only one he respect aside from Hades). Before the marriage between her and Hades though she meet with Beelzebub (Sorry, I requesting him. You must be bored by now, but he is my favorite 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️). They became friends and later lovers (she is immune to his curse and very strong as she is Goddess of Void, Tide, Destiny, Humanity, and Curses). When the marriage announce Beelzebub think it was for the best and try to made reader think he cheat on her by going with Lilith. Or the reader beg to Kronos to reconsider it since she love Beelzebub, thus Kronos made scene of him cheating on her with Lilith. The reader seen this and heartbroke that she end up marrying Hades, no one know the relationship between her and Beelzebub aside from Kronos who died later. When Lilith die, she wanted to comfort Beelzebub but think it would be inappropiate and she also didn't want to hurt Hades.

Hades actually know realtionship between them but held himself from saying anything for he love her so much. At Ragnarok, she was the only one who is neutral when the gods announce feath of humanity because she is goddess of humanity, she do help Valkyrie but when Poseidon died. She grow chaotic, Beelzebub see this and went to meet her in secret. He comfort her, Hades seens this and smile bitterly as he enter the inframary saying to reader that he is going to praticipate. The reader beg him to not going but he still go and went he died, she cried so hard that all her family need to comfort her, their heart break for the one who loved by all. That was breaking point of her live to humanity because when the reader see Beelzebub going to participate, she told him to kill them without mercy. And Beelzebub would do anything for her.

Zeus heard this and ask their relationship to Beelzebub who answer he love her and want her hand in marriage if he win. Poor boy need to work hard because she is very hesistant in letting him in again.

Hades + Beelzebub × Poseidon's non biological/biological twin!Reader

Years ago, you and your siblings were swallowed up by Kronos, who later on threw all of them up and out of his stomach. Being saved by the one and only zues.

But, sadly, it was only you who wasn't thrown up by Kronos, leaving you in his stomach for a while before he threw you up again. Leaving your siblings to watch in horror as you were now in the hands of their terrible father.

War emerged as they all fought with their lives. As well as Poseidon who saved you from the hands of Kronos. Kronos had found you to be his pretty princess of a daughter, and wanted what was best for you. That being, marriage. Which led to him arranging a marriage for you and hades, without any of your consent.

On the final year before you got married to hades, you met a sweet guy who genuinely looked so deep in despair..lost in his own void of darkness. You later learned that he was cursed, and alone, which made you determined to show him care. Taking pity on the poor thing.

He was surprised when he found out you were a Greek god, and was immune to his curse, which crashed onto him like a trainwreck of mixed emotions. He finally found someone who wouldn't die from his curse, and one that was willing to care for him.

Due to that, he started growing feelings from how much you coddled him and cared for him. He was used to being called names, and being an outcast to those around him. But he knew about your soon marriage with hades, which made him guilty for loving you like this. But he couldn't help it, how is he selfish for only wanting something that he never had?

You begged your father to reconsider his arrangement for your marriage to the god of the underworld. Which gave Kronos an idea. A terrible one at that. You were his daughter, he was the one to make the rules. And he was also so confident that he'd win the war against your siblings. So, he did what any loving father would do.

Make Beelzebub cheat of course! Wow he was so smart for that idea. He deserves an Oscar! (I'm being sarcastic. That's actually a terrible idea.)

"listen princess, you will be all good and pretty for your husband. Just do as papa says okay? You don't actually love that ..."Beelzebub" or whatever his name is. Trust papa."

He carefully planned his idea, and then executed it. Making you walk in on Lilith and Beelzebub's kiss. You watched in horror, running away and crying from the heartbreak you just witnessed. Little did you know that Beelzebub was set up just for this exact moment.

All of that resulted in the marriage continuing, just as Kronos had planned. Making you marry hades, who agreed. Hades knew about your relationship with Beelzebub, and your love for him. But he never once brought it up, for he love you too much. He was willing to be with you even after all that.

When Lilith died, you wanted to comfort Beelzebub and offer him your condolences. But you didn't think it was appropriate, and cause you didn't want to hurt hades by rubbing salt in his wound.

When the Ragnarok was set and ready, you were the only one neutral to the idea. But, that was until your beloved brother died in the hands of a swordsman, all because he underestimated the skilled human. Leading to his demise. That's when you shattered, becoming angry, just like the rest of the gods who had witnessed it. Beelzebub saw the fight, and remembered how dearly you loved your brother, and he made his way over to you, crying in rage at your loss. Hades had seen your exchange with Beelzebub, knowing you were heartbroken. Before he approached you, saying that he wanted to avenge his brother, making you cry harder, begging him not to.

"forgive me, (y/n). I just cannot stand here and do nothing when our dear brother got disrespected by a mortal. It is my duty to avenge him. To honor his name."

He didn't listen, ending with him dead. You sobbed your eyes out, unable to eat and sleep. Your heart hurt too much from the death of your loved ones, the ones that you cared so much about. It was ironic to think the goddess of curses, was also cursed.

But Beelzebub was determined to make you happy again, and to make you happy was by defeating the humans.

"beat their asses, beel. Don't show them mercy. Humanity is disgusting."

He stared at you lovingly, before mumbling. "...as you wish."

When he won the fight, he walked out to find you standing there. Staring at him softly and weakly. "(Y/n)? Are you okay?"

"thank goodness...I'm so glad you came back alive.."

Those words were enough to make all his denied feelings crash back onto him. All that love from you that he missed out on, after his infidelity with Lilith before she died. Zues saw this, seeing the relationship between you and Beelzebub made him the next shipper aside from Aphrodite.

"do you love her, Beelzebub?"

"...yes. more than anything. I'd do anything for her, I love her so much and I want to show her just how much I can love her."

With that, zues pushed you to give it a chance. To care for Beelzebub and love him, make up for all that you missed out on. You were going to deny until you saw the look of love in the man's eyes, the poor thing really did want you back and was willing to make you happy again. Making you sigh and reluctantly agree.

Either Hera was watching and was mad that Zeus’s punishment for Apollo would get her champion killed and give Apollo some of his healing powers or saved Jason from the killing blow. Kinda to also show the gods can be cruel but also kind. Or Artemis save him as she save Apollo and Jason is also like a brother as Thalia convince her. It also as he had plans to build the temples so maybe one of the minor god healed him as he maybe for Storm to fall, Jason just need to let go and fall a get high. Lol like god level trust fall.

Pants

Jason had a hard time trying to find pants that would fit and when he finally found pant that fit his waist they were too long in the leg. He was going to hem them but he keep forgetting so he just cuff them and Will sees and ask Nico about it and Nico is like should I tell him- no this is funny. And it just Jason doing a ton of bi things without knowing

the chain, Nico and Jason do activities together as they both have memories parts, and Nico take it upon himself as a favor for Thaila, to show him the way of being a punk. Just imagine the first day of this, Nico just clip the chain to his pants and he just “look at you, already looking the part” and the black shoes are a part of this. Thinking he may try to paint lights bolts on them or something.

power wise with Jason’s flight a aviator jacket is better for him when flighting but he doesn’t want to copy Nico’s look in case it upset him (it won’t, Nico would just tease him about it) but so he gets this coat and Nico end up teasing him as it an old man jacket and Jason tease back saying if course Nico knows this as he is an old man. (When trying to find a reference picture i didn’t know what this jacket was calls and so typed old man jackets and it popped up

Pins I kinda can’t remember as I forgot to note it down, but I think it the two camps, and some random lighting pin Nico, or Leo found, or they can just be pins the 7 found that made them think of Jason so he have something that reminds him that he is someone.

Bracelets

Going with Nico’s adventure with the Apollo bracelet making. He makes Jason and Percy matching bug 3 bl as they always joke they are brothers and just Nico leaving them in their cabins as he doesn’t want to make a scene, but Jason and Percy find one of them in cabin 1 when Percy was hanging out together and they are like wait and run to cabin 3 to find Percy’s and they put them on and go run over to find Nico and they make a big fus about Nico does love them and Nico is like no thr purl for heazl, black is for him and he likes the color blue but they just ruffles his hair.

And he have a ace bracelet from Nico too. He the first to get a pride bracelet from Nico and he help Nico put on his as he helped him get to this place where he could be proud so Nico wanted him to tie it as like a sign of trust.

Asexual

I feel like a headcannon a lot of Percy Jackson characters as ace but we deserve it. As also like sex repulsedace son of Jupiter/ Zeus kinda funny in my book. Like Dad is basically known for hooking up and Jason is like nope. Him and Nico being two confused aces together as like Nico trying to explain it to him and Jason like isn’t that how everyone feels? And once Nico knows what he feeling has a name, he runs to Jason to tell him too.

I headcannon Artemis lets any gender join the hunter they just have to sworn off sex and be loyal to her (if you like that took then look up the myth of hippolytus by Overly Sarcastic Productions. I love that channel too!). And each time the hunters visit campus they ask if anyone want to join. One time when they come around when Nico and Will got together, before Nico tells Thalia about them, she ask if he wants to join as she thought he still didn’t feel like he has a place and he like no I think if found a place with the help of Will, Jason, and everyone here. and then she also asked Jason if he want to join them. and he thought about it for a moment and realized he already been through a lot, does he really want an immoral life of it, and what sold him on not joining is he happens to looked over to where Nico was watching him and he saw Nico’s worry eyes, a look basically pleading him not to go. And that night Jason and Nico have a sleepover in the hades cabin, with Nico may or may not having saying that he wants Jason to be his brother and he will be his brother in return.

The necklace is also like a thing for Artemis/Diana (for if she the one who save him), the hunt/his sister, and ace pride. I feel in his look for his identity, finally realizing one part of himself that makes him him, he would just be happy about it, and full embrace it.

Random

Him and Percy dare each other to do stupid things like when Jason meet a new camp just hit himself with lightning and act as if nothing happens

Being hit in the head

Jason with actual brain damage from all his concussion . I want him with a TBI, him having memory problems, having a harder time spelling and reading. As someone with a TBI I want a character with a brain injury that isn’t a vegetable, who just get angered every 10 minutes or just walks it off. Him talking with Will/Chiron about concussions and stuff and him being a bit worried about hitting his head again, him and Nico talking about memory issues. Give him a bit of a speech impediment or sensitive to lights and sounds. Jason and Nico hanging out in the dark hades cabin when they have migraine days. Jason asking Will for help for a talk to the camp about being cautious about any type of brain injury. As the brain is important and weird and it can behave differently for everyone, and healing magic can’t heal it completely, so they need to be careful.

I've been thinking about Nightmare Y/n a lot. So I had 2 questions and some small blurps to give you!

Does he ever seek the help of other gods for punishment? Or does he simply use Nightmares to help him?

Also, would he have his own domain? Like how Zeus has the sky, Poseidon the sea, Hypnos the Realm of Sleep, Atermis the Forest, Dionysus the vineyards and party grounds etc, etc (I hope I got those right)

(Headcannon blurps underneath, and some smaller headcannons for this au sprinkled in)

A headcannon I had for this au is that Hypnos and Y/n do have their children, except they come to be due to Hypnos and Y/n fighting and the Fates interference (Except Phobetor, he's a special case).

With Hypnos having to try and restrain Y/n, he slowly loses the ability to look after the Dreams of mortals. His sisters, the Fates, see this and decide that during one of his clashes, they will give him a child to watch over dreams, so he can make sure mortals can sleep while fighting Y/n. Thus came Morpheus.

(Hypnos had won the battle, and as Y/n slept, he heard the cry a child. Morpheus stood in the aftermath of their battle with only Hypnos to watch over him. Y/n is told much later about his first son, meets him even later.)

The twin came during a friendly spar, much later in the future. Hypnos and Morpheus have solid control over the realm of sleep, and Y/n has gained full control of Mortals' nightmares. However, the realm sleep kept expanding, and the Fates had decided their little brothers family should expand along with it. Thus, Icelos and Phantasos came to be. Y/n had pinned Hypnos down, securing the fact that mortals were to have more nightmares for the year when the cry of infants filled the air. Once separate, Hypnos and Y/n find the twin wrapped in a Shroud of Mist, nightmares taking the form of animals hovered over the babies, seemingly watching over them. After panicking for a bit at the new children, Hypnos and Y/n take them to be clothes and named. They grow up knowing who Y/n is from the beginning. Unlike Morpheus.

Phobetor, however, was born only from Y/n. While Y/n could control Nightmares, he was not the God of them. So the Fates once again see that the realm of sleep needs a new caretaker and help Y/n to have a son with his power.

Phobetor is born from a violent battle Y/n has with his own cult. They had forsaken his teaching and began punishing those undeserving, earning the praise of the Olympians and earning Y/n ire. In was supposed to be a non-violent punishment peaceful scolding, quickly turned to bloodshed as Ares had influenced his cult. They had restrained Y/n with chains given by the Gods and planned to try and kill him. This only enraged Y/n, leading to his divine form breaking out and him killing those who didn't immediately pass from seeing him.

In the middle, the destruction stood Y/n, his blood dripping from him and mixing with his once beloved followers.

From his blood mixing with mortals and the lingering fear in the air came Phobetor, born from his father's Rage and mortals Fears.

Hypnos didn't question Y/n bloody form once he returned to the flower field, simply helped Y/n clean himself and held Phobetor, amazed at how the infant already looked so much like Y/n.

Phobetor, once grown, has full control over the realm of Nightmares, with his father overseeing it and helping him when not tormenting gods and punishing mortals or flirting sparring with Hypnos.

I really like this Au and how different the story is to WMFTD. I haven't even touched on my headcannons of Achilles and Patroclus or how Zagreus might react to meeting this version of Y/n, the dynamic the Sleep children would have due to their parents roles.

Ever thought what would it be like if Loki ever dared to interact with Hades' Brothers?

Oh well, yes I did! (so sorry for the late response :( life been busy)

Well, Loki wouldn't really dare to interact with zeus or poseidon because he's quite scared of them. Zeus controlling thunder he's in the eye of the trickster like a Thor, but a Thor who has even more reasons to be violent with him. Since Loki is the blood-brother of Odinn he's at the same time dangerous for Lore Olympus but also, could be leverage against Asgard.

Loki would be pretty tame if he's surrounded by Hades brothers but wouldn't hesitate to snark back at them- before running away.

He could fight them, he's a strong trickster but since I've always seen their interaction inside Olympus, I don't think he would be that reckless.

I like the idea that Asgard and Olympus aren't exactly on best terms with each other, so having a trickster norse god wondering around isn't really welcomed. They don't mind them in the mortal realm but unless they're explicitly invited, both sides don't want to hang out with each other.

Also, in one of my headcannons, norse gods dress up a bit like bikers and have none of that classy attitude you see in Olympus. So they clash very easily. Especially since in many myths I've read, norse gods have NO CHILL when insulting each other (those who've read the Lokasenna knows what I'm talking about).
