“I asked if you were okay.” he hummed, biting his bottom lip. He’d been sat in the bar for a while, and he’d watched the other, he looked troubled by something. “You look distracted. Is everything okay?” he asked, smiling softly.

Alexei had just been relaxing, trying to get himself to not be as uptight as he normally was. Alexei had been told that he needed to work on ‘letting loose’…Yet he had no idea just how to do that. “Hm?” Alexei hummed as he noticed someone looking his way. “Did you need something? Cat got your tongue?” Alexei teased the other with a raised eyebrow and a snort.

With how things had been going in the castle, he had been expecting the worse when he ran into Alexei but the other vampire looked to be in good spirits, strangely enough. He caught his sire, adjusting his grip so he wouldn't drop him. The vampire grinned at the easy affection, enjoying the brief kiss. It almost felt like a dream, one where they were still young and in love. "Has it been forever?" He asked, leaning back to meet his eyes. There was no teasing smirk or hidden meaning in his words and it filled Wicek with hope.  "I've missed you too. Especially this side of you."

The realisation his sire was at the castle was a hard pill to swallow, to put it lightly. Wicek had decided to retreat away from all he had become acquainted with while there, none more than Matthew. After so many years, he still couldn’t believe that Alexei had shown up and been so nonchalant about the entire thing. While his heart was beating out of his chest, his sire had looked calm, like it was just a casual catch up. 

Needing some space and time away from his bed, he found himself in the music room of the castle. His finger’s danced across the keys of a piano, playing some old tune he had memorised over a hundred years ago, when he heard footsteps. His eyes flickered up to meet the striking gaze of Alexei and instantly he stopped, standing as though he needed to do something formal about it. “If you wish to use the room, I can leave you to it,” he offered, unsure that his sire would want to be near him either.

Who's your favorite person at the castle?

“I can’t pick that. I have a top three... no a top four? I have been very lucky to fall in love and find companionship and friendship, something I had been missing for years. I can’t pick between Alexei, my sire. Matthew... whatever we are but I’m pretty sure I love him.”

“Both Titus and Mathias are good friends and I’m grateful to have them both and get to smile and joke around, it’s been a while since I have done that.”

“Is it cheating to say Alexei?” he asked, naming his own sire. “I suppose I would like to get to know Heinrich better considering he’s Mathias’s master. Castor and maybe Nathan too... I don’t get out a lot. I don’t I even know half the master’s in the castle.”
