People are emotionally exhausting.

They get mad when they play in my face and I just check out of their nonsense. I do not have the patience or good will at this point. They want to shoot themselves in the foot and cry about their shoes don't fit. I will be over here counting all the fucks I have and I do not give.

TL;DR - I warned them and they got shitty. They come back two years later with wah-wah-wah. I return receipts, block them, and now they're big mad.

I'm at a point where I can't even suffer the experience of people word vomiting their counterproductive personal insecurities in my notes (at WBP, I mostly mean...)

Y'all know I am HERE for some word vomitaciousness and talking in reblogs, in general. Write me anything from a witty one liner to a full novel, and I am usually happy to see it. I have no issue w/ folks working stuff out in words or their minds being blown by new information on this site. In fact, I live for that shit. And like obvi, I also have no problem with folks posting overtly contrarianism stuff to what I post if I need called out or if I share misinformation or if I had a bad take overall or if context is missing, blah blah.

But if I reblog a post that says something like "XYZ is a symptom of fatphobia we need to move past" or "ABC is a connected to white supremacist thinking" or "I really feel thing 123 is toxic because..." and your response is to not deny the connections to fatphobia, white supremacy, toxicity, etc. etc., but to just whine about defending your personal reasons for being/doing/liking ABC, XYZ, and 123 on the post, I'm gonna blockity block block!

It is so freeing for me to draw a line in the sand of "I don't suffer fools who make it all about them." I've moved to the point of never bothering with folks who are so laser focused on their own ish they can't understand an implied boundary from strangers. Like, go make your own post to talk about the issues and topics you want to, and everyone wins. It's entirely different if I know the person and we're engaged in productive discourse or whatever, but I have 0 patience for this otherwise.
