1/2 kids went into computer science as either masters or bachelors

1/4 are in med school

1/4 are phd in physics

Another post about a movie I just watched

So I had a free ticket I had to use so my rewards points wouldn't expire. Decided to use it today to go watch Blink Twice, which I was originally going to wait for it to come out on streaming.

The film started out with a trigger warning and it turned out to be with damn good reason.

I was honestly bored at first with the movie but stuck with it since I'd pretty much gone to see it for free anyway but man do those first thirty minutes drag. I was honestly worried that the film wouldn't end up being the crazy suspense mystery film the trailer promised.

I was expecting the twist to be murder. Instead, it was sexual violence... and a LOT of it (which, again, the film warns you about before the movie actually starts).

Look, I'm not gonna say that Blink Twice is a bad movie. It's genuinely not but that doesn't make it a GOOD movie either. It's a DISTURBING movie and not in the way that a horror film might disturb you.

I genuinely left the theater feeling like I'd just watched a snuff film. I was uncomfortable in the worst way and I'm not sure I'm gonna be okay sleeping tonight. Those scenes the trigger warning was for? Yeah, those are still in my head and I just want them OUT.

I cannot in all good conscience recommend this movie, especially if you lack an especially strong stomach. I realize that was probably the point of the movie but no movie should make you regret making the decision to go to the theater.

I feel unclean...

HONESTLY. i agree with prev anon minedai community rlly feels like it’s own separate thing a lot of the time i get so shocked when people who aren’t mainly minedai posters acknowledge it LMFAO it’s pretty rare. we’re kind of in our own stuck in yakuza 3 bubble if that makes sense while everyone’s moving on with the newer games
