So I might have forgotten to say it, but in this AU, time doesn't just stop after 2003 Donny, 2012 Mikey, and Rise Raph get mentally linked. After getting their mental connection, they continue to live their lives and the adventures that come in the episodes.

So while Raph does get a bit of rest after the movie, 2003 Donny follows the 2003 third season, and 2012 Mikey jumps straight into the 2012 fourth season.

And what happens during those seasons I wonder-

I honestly dont think that their designs change as much just that their skin gets a bit more of a pattern and they look older (in his case, more scarred also)

Some Blind Baby Leo Au arts for ya all! :D

In first Leo's getting small bath. Raphael is carefully making Leo being used for wet touches, soap etc. It seems Leo is responding well! :D (after panicking when Raphael, in the first time, just put Leo sit in a basket with water without warning the poor little baby!)

In second Leo is enjoying the sounds of thunder. He loves those super loud rumbling sounds, the vibrations of them. He is sensitive and feels stronger and more grounded by these sounds. Calm too. (just like me! I LOVE thunders!)

It’s hard to say how Donnie would react in every circumstance, especially an AU, which ya know, is where I kinda live lol. But even with my EW Donnie growing up with different experiences, there are moments where i actively want him to be different, but moments i have to sit and think about how he’s still the same lovable purple guy.

Canon Donnie is such a people pleaser. Donnie’s love language is clearly acts of service/gift giving, creating inventions to make the family’s lives easier…and when they don’t, Donnie tends to either go into a denial mode, refusing any criticism, or fix it mode.

He can’t handle the idea of just dropping a project—not until he has no other choice. When Shelldon literally destroyed the lair and nearly killed them all, Donnie insisted he could improve him. When he saw the billboard for Purple Game 2, he was still 100% invested in getting that game, despite knowing full well how much damage his obsession caused, and that it was a ploy created by the Purple Dragons. When April went to Witch Town, instead of him, he took that as the highest insult to his talents. If Donnie’s got a worm in his brain for something, he’s not going to let anything stop him—sometimes even, to the detriment of his family’s health.

He loves them, obviously, but he can still be very self involved, and it often blinds him to how he’s hurting them. I personally think this comes from having Raph and Leo always there to be his safety net/older siblings. If something goes awry, they’ll take care of it, Donnie is the results guy, not the plan guy. I see a lot of fanon Donnie taking on everything— taking charge in a emergency—and I’m not ragging, I even enjoy seeing that trope of Donnie working himself to death, doing it all, when it’s written very well—but in canon, Donnie relies a lot on Raph and Leo as team leaders for support and guidance. I think if something were to happen to both of them, he’d need some time to panic and pull himself together. He trusts their judgment (only ever pushing back with a few follow up questions) and backs them up. They come up with the plan, and he figures out how to implement it, or just follows along until his intelligence (or sarcasm) is needed. The times we do see Donnie take charge, he has zero patience for it lol (see Mind Meld). He will stand back, if he doesn’t have much to do and snark about what’s going wrong.

If it’s a fight situation, Donnie’s usually not the one to charge in headfirst. In both Shredder fights (and a few others), he allows the others to go in swinging before he takes a go, and then right off the bat, he pulls out some pretty big final moves (whether they worked as final moves, well 😬) so I think Donnie tends to leave the super physical stuff to the other three, unless it’s a one vs one, or if he can see they need help. He IS a great fighter, that’s for damn sure, but I think if he can go last, and make it into a big show, he has more fun with it.

There is the attention seeking, seeing as he’s a middle child. This is where I get into heavy head canon territory…

We can maybe, safely assume from canon, that Splinter gives Donnie the least amount of attention. I do think the Splinter attention goes-> Mikey, Leo (tho most of that attention is negative from being reprimanded lol), Raph, then Donnie. And while Leo tells himself the negative attention he gets from being a little shit is the same as any attention, I think Donnie desperately needs positive attention, and someone to validate all his creations.

I hope any of that made sense. I’m not the best at writing down my thoughts on a character’s motivations and personality lol. I’m mostly going off vibes when I write.

If the Addams were in the Krang invasion, who would die first? Is there a Casey Jr in your Addams AU? Would Casey be _Leo's_ student? How would he get along with the others And what does he think of them? Is his mother dead? What would his relationship with April be like? Do you have a design of everyone in that apocalyptic event?

(sorry for many questions)

1. I'd say maybe Mikey, just bc he'd jump right into a battle w/o thinking, but also Raph maybe while he's protecting his bros fr (for the bunnies, it'd be Kenichi EASILY)

2. Canonically no BUT I sketched a design for this (Casey would kinda be everyone's student, he learns from all of them, Leo would be the most affectionate to CJ tho)

Casey would get along pretty well with the others, he'd probably be a bit put off by Mikey and Donnie (Both of them thrive in chaos and CJ would be very stoic and a bit of a hardass), he admires Leo's fighting skill and undying loyalty, and he enjoys training with Raph

3. Cass would be dead yes, probably used as a meat shield LMAO

4. April would be a bit like an estranged step-mom to him, he's chill w/ her but they don't talk much

5. No bc. I'm lazy 👉👉 but I sketched a Leo idea

The turtles are built as war machines, they'd absolutely thrive in war (tho Leo would be even MORE sleepless and very underweight bc he wants his family to eat before him)

Also I do know that Donnie would be blind and Deaf in the Krangg war (he was too busy making weapons to follow OSHA) and Mikey would've unlocked his mystic ability but it would not be nearly as honed as it is in the movie, it'd be more like a wildfire type vibe LMAO

Shredder-Raph and Blind Leo - ENCOUNTER

This was supposed to be a birthday present for @nei-ning in September. NOW it's done! XD Just a little thought that got me what I had to draw. My HC: Raph got in a dimensional swirl and landed in this dimension with old Raphael and blind Leo. If you want to know more check out her tumblr.

I woke up an chose violence for xmas eve~ LINE UP BOIZ

I kinda just went nuts on this....I am sorry no one asked for it haha Gunna share what I have thought out so far tho. ~ more below!!!!

Virus started in Draxums lab, Zombie are mutated yokai/human undead affected by the Oozesquitoes. The events of the apocalypse start before the pilot episode of rottmnt, So the boys do not have the Ninpo and the weapons they get from draxums labs. The boys never learn about it before Splinter dies. (this is to give more of a challenge to the story an fun 0w0 no tech an no powers. We SURVIVING BABY) This also means that the boys dont understand the hidden city an yokai as they would in the show. This is all silly fun so its not that serious~ I just wanna have some fresh angst an zombies yo

~~more of the injuries -Mikey, he's mostly Deaf due to an accident with a bomb created by Donnie. To close to the explosion and the whole thing was hectic but that's why Mikey has a large scar on the right side of his face/neck as well. He is the most un "damaged" of the 4, as his brothers fiercely protect him. Mikey is more emotionally distant due to the trauma of the undead and people dying around him. -Leo arm goes chop chop pretty early on in the apocalypse due to a bite, he duels with one katana an his arm in close combat. He's less humorous in this AU, a bit more stricter. I don't have much information on him XD He leads along with Raph. -Donnie, no tech, still wears battleshell but it no longer functions. Its heavily modified due to it being the same size when the apocalypse started. Left leg was bitten in a food/supply run with Raph (Raph also lost his Tail as well during this time((bite)) Donnie is a much more tactical fighter, distance an smarts. Uses staff to impales undead head at safer distance. Donnie is much more cruel spoken in this au later on in life, he's not very optimistic but finds humor in it. Almost switching rolls with Leo's personality, not completely but almost like a trauma response to the apocalypse. -Raphie~ Uses double barrel gun as a last resort, He relies on his Sais an his thick skin to protect his family. His right eye is blind due to yokai zombie attack.(was zombie big mama 0w0) he lost a large portion of his tail along with Donnies leg the same time. (Will go more into detail of that later) He is much more protective of his brothers, untrusting an weary of strangers.

Tried to draw first time in MONTHS and I struggled SO MUCH! I fought with my arts (sketches) for hours!! I was annoyed and disappointed... So I gave in. I honestly think my artist days are over.

Unless I keep drawing blind baby Leo from my AU where old 2003 Raphael (SAINW) found and adopted him.

Leo is preparing himself to scream if Papa Raph won’t buy him that bear :’D

Since this isn't the Canon Slash, do you remember the canon scene after they fought Slash and he fell off a building, after that Raph was missing him and he was sitting alone while holding a chewed leaf vegetable. Do you think Raph in this au would do the same and still miss the cute, small Spike even though Titan would never hurt his family and will still live with them??

Also, I just figured out how slow I am because now I realize that post from few days ago when Spike had a greenish background and an ominous look was because he was staring at the mutagen before purposely mutating himself 🫢

Yep. Remember when I said Titan would do anything to keep his family alive?

Pair that with the corrupted thought process from the mutagen, and you've got a more dangerous situation than before.

He wouldn't kill them, but he wouldn't hesitate to incapacitate them if they get in his way of getting of Karai, something he wouldn't really do if he wasn't so blinded by rage and the mutagen.

So when he discovers that, really, he was about to kill a child for his own deep-rooted hatred, and tha hes harmed his alt. brothers because of it, he freezes.

And Raphael makes the decision to use the pressure points Splinter had done to him to save Karai, even if it meant he lost his best friend.

Titan doesn't show up for a while because he's ashamed of himself and what he's done. He has to be chased down to be reunited again.

Raph has it rough, of course, because he cared about Spike, now Turtle Titan(even if he hates it). Seeing his loved pet nearly kill someone, hurt his family, and disappear after falling from building by his hands, well, yknow.

So yeah, it still happens :D
