actually hornigold is the funniest character.

he starts out introduced as a man who fucked himself and his crew over by participating in a failed rebellion

he is promised a share in the urca gold only to be immediately ousted from the deal by charles vane

he is roped into eleanor's consortium only for his place to be immediately usurped by, again, charles vane

he hands eleanor over to the authorities and it results in her taking his place as rogers' advisor and trusted ally

he forces flint to sail into a storm and convinces himself and everyone around him that he got rid of him only for the man to resurface stronger than ever

he is SO ineffectual. no single action he takes, no deal he ever makes works out for him.

I kind of just want to drop out of college and crochet and write books and

#get married (i don't have a boyfriend)#and have kids (i am not in a relationship or stable enough for a family)#i kinda wanna sell crochet stuff but it takes me like a month to make any and everything #plus i suck at reading and understanding patterns #and all ik is single crochet and double crochet and even then i think i do them wrong as well #Tunisian stitch is fun but i don't have a hook long enough and it hurts my hand #idk if it was just my sinuses and lack of sleep but ive felt so bad all day #and my back hurts cause i sit like a shrimp and don't know how to stand i guess #im so tired. genuinely.#and my mouth is fucked up again with sores because of stress and biting at my own lips #and its so lonely being in college #which is kinda funny cause i have more people i would actually consider as friends than ever #but i kinda just feel like im *there*#and i have a million projects to do but i played fortnite with my sis and her husband and my brother instead #and my dad taught my sis and i to play solitaire #and then i beat them both at black jack (it was actually a tie of how many matches i won but shhh)#and i know im blessed that im basically getting paid to go to college by my college but #it just doesn't feel right. like it feels isolating and lonely #and i have gone to some events btw they are not that great

they have their first little scene in the epilogue of the main book/current novel actually (cute little r*bbit parallel moment where faye gets belle to swallow the eternal souls. dw about it this is not going to come back around At All :))) just preheating her for all that is to come <3 nd by dream game 2yrs later they have settled into an iffy little mentorship where faye is the only adult belle trusts bc she keeps appropriate distance and does not try to replace the family belle lost (oh well. !) history tells us soulless make excellent parents & faye gets just a tiny bit impatient guiding belle thru the process for the 723th time (normal behavior. illusions of you killing everyone you love etc) but belle absolutely thrives on the antagonism and the impossible expectations bc she always knew she was destined for great things! :))))! this ends well, ofc

Please explain the fully animated dream I had about a glowing orange Jesus and glowing purple Goddess who were attached at the skull like some weird hourglass aND WAS FULLY NARRATED BY JACK BLACK. IN SONG.

idk what traumatized or mentally ill person needs to hear this but dreams (especially the really disturbing ones you dont want to talk about to anybody) arent some deep peek into your psyche or a sign of your True Desires or whatever theyre quite literally your brain making fruit salad with whatever it can find on the shelf. just putting all that shit in a blender and hitting obliterate. its fine, youre fine, youre not a weirdo for it
