If you are still open for the ask game...what about Dagda/Blemishine? One who discovered her personal identity *isn't* all wrapped up in being a knight of some kind, and another in the process of such discovery.

Oh this is really cute & interesting!! The glasgow crack pairings have been ON POINT so far... I think I'd want to really exaggerate the height difference between the two even though realistically it's probably like 10cm at most LOL

I'm pretty sure you appreciate rare ships, so I was wondering if you might have any thoughts on Blemishine x Dagda? Both idolize knights and come from knight backgrounds. Both shoulder their own expectations of what it means for them to be a knight and have character arcs about what values they choose to uphold. Both like fashion--though Isabelle leans punk whereas Maria is more frills and lace. Both train and learn through observation. Maria's sunshine and friendliness to Isabelle's stoicism and awkwardness. Maria's will to survive verses Isabelle's will to sacrifice herself. Haha, well I don't really mind rarepairs, but it's a case-by-case basis as to which ones appeal to me. I do appreciate the effort people put in to make fanworks of them, though. I know what that feels like.

Hmm... it seems like they do have a few threads in common but also enough differences to make them foils! I think they could have a potentially interesting dynamic, especially with the different directions in their determination.

Im lowkey not the biggest fan most of the ships that im pretty sure are hinted at/implied (i.e. jera, arlaine, blemi, or isemi) but I also don’t like some of the fanon ones (isen x cecile or adrion x claire)😞

it’s not that i dislike all straight ships or anything. I just feel like a lot of them are overused tropes at times i guess? 😭
