Alrighty folks, the time has come to sign up for the 2023 Ninjago Oc Secret Santa! Please read the information provided in the description of the form; additional information will be provided upon receiving your assignment.

As of the forms being released, you will have until November 3rd to fill your form out.

Expect to receive your assignments within the week after the form closes. After receiving your assignment you will have until December 23rd to January 7th to finish you piece, with a late period extending from January 8th to January 14th.

Do not post your piece until the designated posting days.

There’s no rule against signing up for both sections; however I do ask you to consider the time provided and how long it will take you to finish a piece.

Also, an update regarding information in the initial info post: I previously stated that the sign up forms would not require you to sign in. This is unfortunately not true, as google forms apparently require users to sign in if the form permits you to upload a file. This isn't something I knew until recently.

The forms are still completely anonymous however; the forms won't collect your email, and therefore it will remain private.

I'm glad I could make a place here on tumblr where I can share my art and my thoughts and mess around and be chaotic. I fucking love them both. They are so cool 🥺🥺 Cors dumb smile and Kai holding his little mug... they are both so precious. In the original scene they were in, they both actually had hot coco and I'm so surprisee this is here... And the fabric wrinkles are so cool??? I can never get them right. Cor's tail looks so fluffy, i want to squish it!!! Thanks so much <3

Hii!!! I love how you draw. The wrinkles never seem to excessive, and the lighting is pretty. The heatlamp is there only cuz Kai wouldn't help if there wasnt one /hj Kai looks likes hes bragging about how great he is and I'm here for it. Cor doesnt mind and listens anyways. I see you sneaking morro into all your art somehow... Seems like a Kai thing to do to keep that on him. AND. YOU HAVE THE HOT CHOCOLATE TOO?? This is sorcery.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! You do so well with face shapes, and them smiling at each other omga.. 🥺🥺 Kai absolutely uses some old sports shirts as pajamas, and I adore the fact you put the little tree symbol on Cor's shirt. His tail is nice and fluffy. Just as it should be. The little lights strung up around them is so cute!! And I love Kai with long hair... such a good idea. I'd like to think Cor suggested the little hairclip because Kai's hair was falling into his eyes or something. And you included Cor's gloves too!!!

Was tagged by @rainofthetwilight to find some words in my fics.

I went back through them and WOW that shit kind of hurt I’m not gonna lie. Thanks for tagging me tho! I really enjoyed doing this I think. And it made me curious, so I checked and across all my fics, I used the word hand 90 times. That’s crazy. Also props if you read this entire thing and get jumpscared by the singular ROTTMNT fic I wrote last year.

And it’s making me angry.” She looked back at Kai, and then dropped her gaze back to the table. She didn’t know where to look.

And now she was stranded in a ghost riddled Stiix with a sore face, a bloody nose, and a blank tape recorder held tightly in her right hand, ready to stop before she’d even started.

Snap-

“Hello? Earth to Lloyd,” Nya waved a hand in front of Lloyd’s face, snapping him out of his own head, “What are you thinking about?”

It felt all too familiar, leaning over their wobbly table, a pen in her hand to correct the blueprints in front of her. Arin in the chair pulled closely next to hers, his arms comfortably around her waist with his chin resting on her shoulder.

Echo-

Alive (ch 1/1)

They took another breath, closing their eyes. Lloyd’s far earlier words still echoing in their head, stay awake. The exhaustion was overwhelming. Sora wasn’t trying to fight it anymore. She didn’t know if she had any fight even left in her.

Dance-

Fuck You *traumatizes Arin and Sora more* (ch 2/3)

Memories of loud music late at night, laughing and dancing around with Sora in their small penthouse. It was such a small moment, but it was so special to him. If it got him out of Imperium and closer to Sora, even for a moment, then it would do. God he missed Sora.

Horror-

Sora pressed her hands together, looking down at her notebook and then back up at Euphrasia who had at that point picked up on Arin’s signal, a horrified look on her face, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize it was a touchy subject.”

Flood-

A Burning House (ch 1/2)

That’s when the flood of tears started, pouring down his face. He tried hard to wipe them away, but the tears just kept coming. He whimpered a few more times in an attempt to prevent himself from sobbing. Casey took a few more shaky breaths, trying to calm himself down more, but all efforts to stop crying proved to be in vain when his chest heaved with a sob, finally opening the floodgates.

Opposite-

Fuck You *traumatizes Arin and Sora more* (ch 3/3)

He barely had time to protest before Sora’s hand pulled away from their face, stepping back, “I’m right behind you!” She repeated before turning on her heel and bolting the opposite way she directed Arin to go.

Cry-

You Are A Product Of Your Environment (ch 1/1)

“Lloyd, do not say you’re fine. People who are ‘fine’ don’t stand in hallways in the middle of the night and then start crying when asked if they’re okay,” Nya grabbed his free hand, squeezing it reassuringly, “You aren’t bothering me, it’s okay.”

Break-

Just Girly Things (unpublished)

Wordlessly, Nya’s gaze drifted down to the broom in her hands and then back up to meet Lloyd’s, shaking her head a bit. She was more than happy to take a break from sweeping, it was high on the list of chores she would rather trick Kai into doing.

Scream-

Alive (ch 1/1)

Nonetheless, Sora tried to protest, to scream at them, to shout at them to leave her alone, but any words she tried to form came out as agonized, broken sobs. Every movement was painful.

@blazersparker asked ab my oc in the tags of a post and because I’m thinking about him a lot I need to post. His names pepper !! He rides a timberjack named fogcleaver! His design includes a lot of chain mail esp as a cape and on his shoes ^_^ he’s also an archer and gets a sleeve tattoo of a timberjack and nightmare on his arm in between 2 and 3. I made him a year ago and I’m still fleshing out the lore :< he transitions during the end of Rob/dob and I love him so much and can’t stop thinking about him
