Yesterday, in NYC, a man lit a woman, who was sleeping in a subway car, on fire until she died. So the man arrested will be charged with terrorism as well as murder, correct? His attack was also threatening the lives of other homeless people (which it is assumed she was so). Surely he will also be charged with terrorism for scaring those people, right?

Or is it only terrorism when rich people are threatened?

Also, surely the fact the person who did this being an undocumented immigrant won’t be mentioned in every single news article about it, right? A woman was brutally murdered. Who gives a shit where the perpetrator is from, all we should care is that he is detained and punished.

Right?

We all agreed to this, right?

Or does race and immigration status only matter when a non-white and or undocumented immigrant commits a crime?

been thinking about blake (headcanon)

i like to think that before blake ghosted bestie, the two had a very “teasy” or “chaotic” relationship.

one where you don’t really tell the other how much they mean to you unless you should be concerned. one where they’re reckless and say jokingly mean things to one another because they can and are comfortable with it.

and then when blake came back, he was weirdly sentimental, and said things that bestie couldn’t really imagine him saying. they were all nice things, sure! but it didn’t feel like him, and it didn’t feel like the person they fooled around with before.

(optionally: they realised from their short experience at closeknit that he’d done some thinking and self reflection on himself, and dismissed it as that …)

I’ve been thinking about this all day since the news dropped and… Yea ok it’s shitty and things look bleak as hell for RWBY rn but this still doesn’t feel like the end to me. Not yet.

I really hope more than anything at this current moment that folks don’t get so discouraged that you quit making fanart and fanfic. I’ve never seen a show with a dedicated group of people that are so loud in their hate and tbh I’ve had enough of folks who are actual fans giving them the time of day.

Put energy into supporting the people within the fndm instead and keep posting about RWBY. Be louder than the people who spread negativity. Block people celebrating this. Delete scummy anon hate you get. It is quite literally not in the spirit of the show to spread negativity like that.

Rooster Teeth is not RWBY. If RWBY was as shit as htdm claimed it is it wouldn’t have lasted over a fucking decade

Even still, the little demon blooded cowboy had dealt with his fair share of the supernatural, the evil and uncanny—he had experience. He wouldn’t put any offer on the table he isn’t ready to take on himself.

“Wanna see where I usually stay? I move every now an’ again but I keep it as comfy as I can, fire an’ all! An’ if ya want, I can scrape t’gether some materials an’ make you yer own tent. C’mon!” Instead of waiting for an answer, Butch excitedly takes Blake’s wrist and begins leading him in that direction. He only lets go when he’s sure the other cowboy is following him.
