blades of glory is such a masterpiece because??? is it queerbaiting??? or do writers actually ship those two and want us to do the same but it's 2007. so they're not going to shove it in your face?? or are they making fun of people putting gay ships into only one generic mainstream mold with the same trope that is enemies to lovers/opposites attract?? or was that not a thing back then and is a 2020's thing?? cause that trope ate now??? and i mean who now wouldn't eat a movie of two men hating each other and then having to dance and touch each other tenderly while skating??? and one of them cries while calling the other the entire night going through all post break up stages?? and their sweet bickerings?? and one of them is a twink in sparkly clothes and the other is just some dude?? while the actual gay couple in the movie goes unnoticed by the most?? truly a shakespearean work
