You knew Ashley was trying to get back on his feet after leaving Black Veil Brides and all the personal struggles and losses in his life, and you wanted to do everything in your power to help and support him. You made the decision to stop being the merch person for the band and left on good terms with everyone in the band and on the crew, knowing it would be awkward going on future tours without your husband after he'd gotten you the job in the first place.

You and Ashley had gotten a nice house together and had been wanting to start a family for years since you got engaged, but it had to be put on hold because of touring. You hadn't had the best of luck though having been through 2 miscarriages early in your pregnancies, and when you got ill around a month ago you knew what it meant. But you waited to see a doctor before telling Ashley. Now you could tell him that there shouldn't be any complications this time, though you'd still both be cautious.

You wanted to do something special, nothing too extreme like you'd seen online. Then you struck gold, since a baby is a combination of two people you were going to combine things Ashley and you liked together. After a couple of hours, you'd prepped a bunch of different combos and laid them on the dining room table

'y/n I'm home, where are you?' Ashely calls out from the hallway.

'In the dining room,' you reply.

'Err y/n why is one of my shoes taped to yours?' Ashely questions, sounding confused as he enters the room holding two taped together shoes.

You can't help but chuckle, 'You're going to have to work this one out on your own.'

Ashley finally looks up at you and points at your outfit, 'are you wearing my jersey?'

You nod, 'I combined it with my favourite jeans.'

Ashley shakes his head and approaches the table, 'did I marry a crazy woman?'

You gasp, 'Love you, Ash.'

He laughs, 'Love you more.'

For the next few minutes, he looks over your selection which included your favourite meals combined, favourite products including beauty, books and music and a few miscellaneous items since you had extra tape and didn't want it to go to waste.

'Why did you combine our belongings together y/n? It's cute but I'm really confused,' he says, unable to keep the smile off his face.

You smile and pull a small box out from behind your back, 'Here's the last combo I swear, we did this together.'

Ashley's eyes widen as he takes the box from you, 'hold up, no way--'

'open it and find out,' you cut him off, unable to keep your excitement at bay any longer.

He opens the box, curses, and drops it on the table, tears in his eyes, before he drops to his knees in front of you and places his hands carefully on your belly, 'how long?'

'Just shy of two months, I wanted a doctor's reassurance and everything looks good down there this time Ash. We're finally going to be parents,' you say, as tears fall down your cheeks finally being able to share the news with your husband.

Ashley rubs your belly, 'Hi little one I'm your dad. Your mum and I can't wait to meet you. You're going to be loved so much.'

He then looks up at you with eyes full of love, 'This doesn't feel real y/n. I love you so much.'

You wipe your tears away and crouch down to his level pulling him into a hug, 'we are going to be the best parents Ash.'

He hugs you back and kisses the top of your head, 'it will work out this time y/n I just know it. I can't wait to teach them guitar. We're going to make so many memories together as a family.'

You simply nod, thrilled at how happy Ashley was. He'd be a great father and together the two of you would raise a healthy boy or girl. You'd wait until the baby was born to tell your husband the kid was also going to be a drummer just like his mummy. This moment couldn't have been any more special.
