2. What is your go to comfort show?

I mean, I don't actually watch tv all that often 😭 so if we're talking shows on actual network tv I'd honestly say Say Yes To The Dress only because I've watched it a gazillion times and I like looking at all the dresses. If we can be a little more broad, then I'd easily say The Andy Show because his voice is so fucking soothing to my brain.

20. Tell us about a memory you hold close to your heart.

So the first time I saw BVB live, I did the VIP so I got to meet them. I showed them my vest (which had Wake Up lyrics on it) and Andy asked me if that was my favorite album to which I said yes and he, jokingly, responded "you're one of five or ten people that says they like Vale" and I was proud of that!!! They were generally so sweet but that in particular sticks in my head.

Idk if this falls under the lore dumping for BVB but it is a question that constantly burns inside me: Vale and Wretched & Divine. There is 1 Kerrang or Rock Sound article out there that says Vale is the prequel to W&D and I vehemently disagree with this. To me, Vale is the sequel not only because of its thematic content (regret, saying goodbye to something you’ve built up, etc) but also based very much on the tiniest bit of lore we get from the Wake Up MV. It seems a modern, advanced world than the barren landscape of W&D, so in my head it’s always been that at the end of W&D, the Wild Ones mostly conquer FEAR and then get to build (or rebuild) the world. Giving FEAR time to lurk in the shadows and regroup, spread its tendrils to places of power, and then strike back much, much later in Vale

would love to know your thoughts!! (also sorry this turned out so long, the whole interconnecting arc of the Wild Ones and dystopian worlds in their albums is my Roman empire tbh)

I definitely agree with what you said and I’ve always thought of Vale as the ending to the story of the Wild Ones that began in W&D. Especially given the context of when Vale was released. Given the fact that it was nearly the last Black Veil Brides album, I think it’s safe to say that it represents the closing of a chapter in the lore. I actually hadn’t even thought of the juxtaposition of the barren Mad Max esque landscape of W&D with the technologically advanced/modernized world of Vale with the Wake Up video so good on you.
