Karl - Karl Jacobs - 7 - purple - light brown hair and blue eyes - when it’s cold he loves to wear his iconic hoodie, he wears lots of fun colors and patterns like the stereotypical stylish gay guy, he has a old stopwatch he likes to carry around

SYNOPSIS being a writer is hard, especially when you're a hardcore stan on tumblr.com. so when the legendary niki writer disappeared out of the blue, the readers were naturally heartbroken! but! what happens when their beloved nishirikithinker got revealed as THE yn of the hot new girl group?!

YOU FOUND YOURSELF sitting in a room that felt far too intimidating for your comfort. your heart raced with anxiety as you glanced at the stern faces of everyone present: bang pd,manager hwang (who had that weird look on his face that you've only seen once when he had to pull sullyoon away from minji) enhypens manager and the PR team. and there, amidst them all, niki, who had the same look of terror on your face

"thank you for joining us today," bang sihyuk began, his voice carrying a serious tone. "i think we all know why we're here today?"

you sat up straight, taking a deep breath to steady your nerves "I assure you all, mr. bang. yes, there was a time when I wrote fanfiction about niki sunbaenim, but I abandoned that account as soon as i got accepted as a trainee."

you paused "I didn't want anything distracting from my dedication to my dream. writing was a hobby, a way to express my admiration. but I knew it was important to fully commit myself as an artist and a member of my group once I became a trainee. i am truly sorry to cause this mess" you stood up and bowed to the people in the room, showing your utmost sincerity

the PR team exchanged doubtful glances, while niki leaned forward slightly, a grin on his face "i support you, my fangirl" he whispered cheekily, only audible to your ears, in which you only kicked him under the table

the managers, recognizing the honesty of your words, stepped forward to present a plan to address the scandal. "we will work swiftly to clarify the situation and minimize any damage to your reputation and the image of your group," they assured with determination.

bang sihyuk nodded, taking a moment to absorb the information. "your commitment to your career is admirable. we will stand by you and protect your image, as part of our family. we will try our best to calm the situation down."

relief surged through you, the weight on your shoulders lessened, knowing that it all went well

leaving that meeting, you were left with the boy who you used to spend all of your attention to. you hated it, you absolutely hated it. "so" he started "i read your stuff"

"please stop talking" you were now on the floor, face buried in your hands and cheeks burning red. "its my darkest secret so dont you dare tell anyone that information, got it?" you utter with your best death glare

he laughed, ruffling his blonde-black hair before putting his cap on "youre cute when you're mad, did you know that?"

you were speechless, was he flirting with you? did he know about your love for jungwon, his band member? did years of one sided fan love finally get reciprocated? was he plotting your downfall?

Adonis is an egyptian mau or a siamese, Kaoru is an orange, Rei is a regular black cat but with weirdly shiny fur and Kouga is a cat who was raised by pitbulls and will not accept the reality that he’s not a pitbull

Keito is a regular european/domestic shorthair but with a weirdly green tint to it

I would say Mika is a khao manee due to the eyes but he is big eyed dark brown colored LaPerm( the specific image I have in mind is one of the pictures in The Cat Encyclopedia and I’m not even sure if it’s for that breed)

Tori is a munchkin

!!! anon, ya caught me at a good time, actually--i was about to go and make a post with someone i was happy to see out and about again, but! this'll be a really good opportunity to talk about this, so here we go!

so! so so so. the orthworm ya typically see are a bright, blazin' red, but some orthworm are born blue instead! yer "shiny" orthworm, essentially. there's not a whole lotta difference between 'em and a regular orthworm despite the drastic color shift, but the few shiny friends i've seen have been mostly localized to the asado desert, and they tend to be more on the ravenous side. i ain't sure if that means they got somethin' similar to lulu's iron deficiency goin' on here, but they tend to be on the hungrier side, from my experience with 'em. shorter limbs, too.

but!!! very occasionally and mostly at night, ya can see somethin' similar to these orthworm out and about:

now, these fellas right here--if i had to make an educated guess, i think this is what albinism looks like in an orthworm! these guys have a lotta sensitivities to the rain and sunlight in particular, so ya don't see 'em very much :( and fer good reason. most'a the ones i've seen don't tend to do well, and the other orthworm tend to be pretty unkind to 'em due to the constant need to eat. so they still exist, but they usually have to burrow much deeper underground and eat a LOT more.

the picture i got here is of one i called niki! i saw her quite a few times when i first started workin', but she was real sweet when i did! 😊 and she definitely fancied lulu a bit, heehee. but that was years ago. i hope she's doin' okay.

but! funnily enough, i saw this old bastard's still kickin' even after the storm, and ya wouldn't believe my relief at it!

[picture: a deep, plum colored orthworm, with a dark metallic green underside. it's eyes are a deeper shade of pink, while it's limbs are a dark purple that's almost black. unlike the picture, this orthworm looks like a surly bastard; very scarred up, and he's missing at least two of his limbs and half of a third. while he sits still for this shot, he looks very annoyed and seems to have been given a figy berry for his cooperation. his skin also look somewhat oily, or at least seems to have a shine that's almost reminiscent of a rainbowy oil spil]

this old boy's been around fer as long as i can remember, and he's actually recognized and protected by the rangers around here--he's officially got the name bismuth, but we just call him the old shiny bastard. heehee! he's one tough customer; most pokemon and even trainers around here learn real quick that ya don't fuck with 'im, because fines are the least of yer worries with this guy. he's apparently got a bit of a reputation as like...he'll help the rangers sometimes if they got a mutual enemy (usually somethin' that disturbs his huntin', because BOY does he hate gettin' bothered without incentive), but otherwise? ya leave this old bastard to his business. old man's survived his share of battles and ya can occasionally see him chewin' on tinkatuff hammers for funsies. this guy does NOT fuck around.

i thought the storm could've been a problem for the big guy, but i went out recently to train lulu and get outta town for a bit, and i saw him! scrappin' with some young orthworm about somethin' or other. the fact he's still kickin' after all these years and with the injuries he's got definitely makes me real happy to see. i don't really know a whole hell of a lot about his habits given that i usually give 'im a wide berth; this picture was actually taken by someone else with permission, last i checked. but i know fer a fact he's nocturnal as hell, and a damn good hunter when he feels the need to be.

Thinking about the proposed designs for the New L'Manberg uniform where each member would get it in their own color. Thinking about Niki. Thinking about the suggestion that hers would be pink. Thinking about how she wore the L'Manberg uniform longer than anyone else. Thinking about how she would almost certainly were the original blue over the new one she was given. NLM isn't the country she fought to bring back, and Tubbo isn't the President she fought to reinstate. Thinking about how she'd wear that washed out blue uniform in a sea of brightly colored coats and stark white aprons and even scarlet red blood stains. Thinking about how much more noticeable it'd be when she started wearing that ashen brown jacket with blackened blood stains and ratty holes torn through it. Thinking about Niki somewhere deep in the End, wearing that pink coat and blue sash and that sharp tricorn hat for the first time because it's still in its wrappings, because it reminds her of home, because it reminds her of how far she's come. Thinking of her wearing that pink and blue for the first time in an ocean of black and being happy to see Tommy's sewing patterns, to see Wilbur's old designs, to see where it doesn't fit properly because she's learned to love herself since her measurements were taken, to see memories of her old friends and be reminded of how much she's grown.

DSMP Fusion AU

(This note was last updated April 6, 2022. Any event/lore/new members after this date is probably not included.)

This AU is inspired by Steven Universe and @koopattemptsart on Instagram.

How the World works:

Only one cluster of fusion crystals were found. Its appearance is similar to an amethyst cluster but is transparent like glass. The cluster was broken into five shards, and divided among those who found it.

The living cannot fuse with the dead(aka ghosts). The living can only fuse with the living, and the dead with the dead.

In order to fuse, their thoughts and bodies must sync or harmonize. Even if two people do not like each other, it is possible for fusion to happen as long as they meet the requirements.

Fusions give you a more intimate understanding of the person you fuse with.

There is no 3 Canon Lives system.

How it started:

Begins before the L’manburg Presidential Election

BadBoyHalo finds a translucent crystal while mining and breaks it into five shards. He brings it to Gay Castle where Eret was holding a small celebration for its completion. The other guests in the small get-together was Skeppy, Ponk, and Awesamdude

Music was playing when BBH entered. He held a crystal and was about to show them, when Skeppy grabbed his hands and pulled him into a twirl.

The crystal they’re holding as they twirl begins to glow. black, red, and blue light mix into the crystal. The light consumes them both, and one figure is left in their place.

A fusion between Bad and Skeppy appeared, and everyone is shocked. Sapnap decides to call the fusion “Bappy”.

Bappy unfuses The others try to recreate it but they don’t know how.

When it came time to leave, the crystals are divided among Bad, Eret, Sam, Skeppy, and Ponk.

CRYSTAL OWNERSHIP PROGRESSION:

BBH —> Sapnap

Ponk —> Schlatt —> Dream —> Techno

Sam —> Quackity

Eret —> Niki

Skeppy —> Punz —> Tubbo

Sapnap borrowed the crystal from BBH.

Ponk gives his crystal to Schlatt as part of their trade. Schlatt then gives the crystal to Dream along with the revival book. Dream uses the crystal with Technoblade during Doomsday, which Techno keeps after.

Skeppy trades his crystal to Punz. Punz gives the crystal to help Tommy and Tubbo during the Confrontation, which Tubbo keeps.

Sam gives his crystal to Quackity as part of their deal at Las Nevadas.

Eret gifted his crystal to Niki.

I both loved and hated making this au. Making fusions of characters is fun. But I remember combing through multiple stream vods, looking for fusion opportunities because of my need to keep it lore accurate time wise. There are dates listed! I don’t even remember anymore T^T)

MCD but that's like, the premise

Niki was drugged and drunk for it, at least. Hazed into a stupor where she really couldn’t feel anything but floaty, tangentially aware of the hooded and robed figures around her, the torchlight, her own vulnerability, but untouched by it. Like watching it happen to someone else, in third person. The chanting people sent prayers down to Death, and Niki was urged to lay out on a stone plinth. Her flesh prickled at its coldness, but that, too, she barely felt.

The knife they used was sharp. She barely even felt it.

A butterfly landed on the plinth next to her, beautiful blues and blacks and dark purples, and Niki swore she heard it laughing.

Acute awareness hit her like a minecart, but not any pain. In fact, as she glanced down at where the hole in her chest should be, she found herself dressed in her favorite sweater and overalls, no worse for wear. There was an almost… iridescence to her, though, fiery pinks and oranges and reds.

She was somewhere entirely unfamiliar, the clover and flowers beneath her feet all a uniform, night-sky blue. The sky itself was only just a shade darker, barely keeping off black. It stretched out for miles in each direction, the landscape unbroken save for the occasional tree which was also that midnight blue, leaves rustling in nonexistent wind.

The air was unnaturally still here.

Niki realized she wasn’t breathing.

Well, she had just died. It only made sense.

The horizon changed, a massive, black shape taking form so far away Niki at first didn’t see it. But then the form grew closer, and Niki recognized Her Ladyship.

Lady Death wore the wide brimmed hat and veil she was always depicted with, the high-necked dress and long sleeves, the lacey gloves. Much of what she wore was sheer or see-through fabric, providing a beautiful view to her ample bust, the soft curves of her thighs and calves, the warm roundness of her hands and arms.

The nonexistent wind blew her veil just barely open, and Niki caught a glimpse of the picked-clean bone of her skull. Lady Death was soft bodied and long haired and rounded only where her clothing covered her. To glimpse her true form was to see the skeleton only.

Her painted lips were round and soft and black. She smiled at Niki.

Niki hadn’t even realized she’d dropped to her knees.

“I don’t know why you silly humans keep sending me sacrifices,” Her Ladyship said, voice lilting and giggling faintly. “You all will come to me eventually. My power does not depend on your worship like lesser gods.”

Niki realized that this was a conversational beat where she was supposed to respond, but her empty mouth hung open and silent when she tried. Her thoughts themselves were void of words, much less her speech.

Death giggled.

“I do tend to have that effect on people.”

Niki blinked, and tried desperately to get herself to say something. Even something stupid that would embarrass her! Anything to make it seem like she wasn’t ignoring The Literal Goddess Of Death.

But Lady Death was patient (as a goddess of her nature would have to be, most certainly) and let Niki struggle through the mental block of bearing witness to divinity.

“Hi,” she managed, quite stupidly indeed, and Lady Death gave a full belly laugh, her cheeks scrunching up against her eyes and her hair shaking with the bellows.

“Hello, little Niki! It’s nice to finally meet you!”

“Nice to meet you,” she said, her voice very very small, very quiet. She couldn’t tear her eyes away from the goddess who’d seated herself next to her, but she didn’t need to blink, so.

“How are you feeling?” Lady Death asked warmly. Niki felt the words in her… body(?) like a physical warmth.

“Shocked, I think.”

“That’s fair. Most people feel that way, even when they knew that this was coming.”

Niki felt a little better at that.

“It’s… an honor to meet you,” Niki tried, angling for polite.

Lady Death giggled again, cheeks warm with a subtle flush and lips curved mischievously. Niki felt a shiver strike through her, clean down her spine.

“The pleasure is all mine, little Niki,” the goddess said, and if Niki had a heart she was certain it would be suddenly pounding. Lady Death reached forward and cupped Niki’s face in two warm, soft hands, the lace of her gloves faintly ticklish against Niki’s now-sensitive skin. Her lips parted, but like before, she was too stunned to speak. Particularly as her Ladyship bent in, face close to Niki’s, the fluttering of her veil so close Niki felt phantoms of its touch against her nose.

“You are so lovely. You know, I’m really not supposed to do this, it isn’t fair to everyone else. But I have been known for being quite the rulebreaker, when it comes to my favorites.”

“Your—” Niki stuttered, now flushed full red. Favorite? But Niki had only just now died, and they’d only just met?

As though reading her thoughts, Lady Death continued, “It’s alright, sweet little thing. You’ll have plenty of time to get to know me later, once you’re all done.”

All done? And what was this about breaking rules, too!?

“Um, Lady Goddess…” Niki started, but the proximity of their faces once again had her at something of a loss for words. “What do you, what do you mean?” she asked, hoping the question wasn’t so vague that she couldn’t answer it.

Lady Death giggled again, then reached one hand up to touch her veil. She parted it—just barely—and Niki would’ve gasped if she’d had any breath, when she leaned all the way in and kissed her. It was the touch of gleaming white teeth to breathless lips, and for only a fleeting moment also, but to Niki it was a kiss more intimate than any she’d ever received in life.

Then Lady Death was pulling back and giggling at her again, catlike and smug, her veil replaced so Niki saw soft flesh and round, plush lips.

“I mean you’re not to be mine—just yet. Not in full, little Niki. Though I do hope you’ll remember this, won’t you sweetheart?”

Niki wasn’t sure she could ever forget, but before she could answer, or ask any more of her thousand questions she sat so blankly on, the goddess was fading from her view, and so was the dark blue place. And so was her consciousness. And her existence altogether.

She gasped awake, hands folded neatly over her belly, in the middle of a flower field, dappled sunlight barely making it through the leaves of the tree she “slept” under.

Niki sat up slowly, examining herself. She was breathing. Her heart pulsed in her chest. She was no longer in that in-between place. The fiery pinks and oranges that hazed around her were gone.

Had it all been—no, it couldn’t have. She yanked down the neckline of her dress and found a massive scar where they’d cut out her heart, and fingers pressed to the tissue reassured her once again that her heart was beating there.

What had happened? Why was she alive? She had passed into the domain of the Goddess of Death, the eternal garden from which no soul was ever meant to return. How was she back here, in the domain of the living?

She raised her fingertips from her heart to her lips. She could not feel the cool press of bone against them, but in her memory, she was able to summon the phantom of it. The sensation of kissing Lady Death.

Niki’s freshly forged heart skipped a beat.
