elizabeth was the batgirl to jason's robin and is arguably the closest with him, post resurrection.

after being stripped of her cowl again by bruce, elizabeth winds up babysitting 'task force x' with long-time friend, roy harper and dawning a new short-term alias, crow. the two find comfort in each-other within the band of belligerent criminals as ex-titans, roy after his split with jade and elizabeth longing for a love she doesn't even know she's forgotten.

she’s viewed as an almost modern day ‘daisy buchanan’ type figure in gotham for better or worse

elizabeth's wayne!persona feeds into the catty high-school popular girl, a little ditzy but applying where it counts. she's no valedictorian but fronting the cheer squad and the debate team whilst earning herself prom queen is no small feat (think torrance shipman) but unfortunately for her date and half the school's male populous, she's head-over-heels for nobody but keystone's cocky redhead with a heart of gold. post-gotham academy, she becomes a hilton-type party girl which doesn't go down well with wally.

even after their separation (in name only, these two would literally die for each-other) wally is still persistent that she keeps her flash button-pin on her person at all times, just in case. even after a fight, yet another break or just a storm-out he'll always be there when she needs him and he knows she's stubborn enough to only press it when she really needs him.

liz was a pretty taken aback by wally's reappearance. learning of a life she once had, the children she'd forgotten and unlike everyone else that accepted wally back almost immediately, liz was a little slower, much to wally's impatience.

she covers for her mother as black canary during league outings whilst dinah is on maternity leave, even keeping with the mantle when teaming up with wally when he returns to the flash role.

dinah and bruce were only briefly together, bruce hadn't even begun his career as batman and dinah was working part-time as a florist and club singer.

liz and dick are the same age.

all three of her costumes incorporate led lining, more-so her time as batgirl with the cowl, her batgirl colour-coding was black and sheer white, whilst starling had an ombre rainbow lining - similar to the bird and siren taking on both aspects with the black and white costume and rainbow led lights.

whilst batman is off-world with the justice league, the rest of his team have been tasked to protect gotham so newly returned elizabeth gets a whiff of a developing human trafficking ring, she swiftly adopts the 'molly malone' persona in order to infiltrate their operations and put a stop to it. however, she's met with some resistance from the city's newest mob-boss, the red hood.

THE WEDDING

The day of the wedding finally came. The ceremony will be held in The Shilla Hotel in Seoul. They chose this hotel for its top-notch security. Plus, they already catered to a lot of big weddings of big personalities from hallyu stars to politicians. In addition, they also gave the best hospitality and has been very accommodating to the couple’s specifications especially Sage’s.

Sage was with his parents at the entrance wearing his custom made Alexander Amosu black suit adorned with his Emerald-Cut Canary Diamond Octagon cufflinks from Jacob & Co. He can’t seem to calm down knowing that the clock to their wedding is closing in. They were greeting all their guests as they come. Alex’s parents were also with them at the entrance.

Alex on the other hand was calmer than ever in her bridal room where she received their guests and took pictures. She was seated on the couch wearing a bridal gown from Alexander McQueen while holding her fresh pink tulips bouquet. Her accessories were a complete set of Tiffany and Co. jewelry, from the headpiece down to the earrings, necklace, and bracelet. Everything was custom made for her.

They took Chic Planner to organize the event. Sage kept his promise about their wedding to be simple and intimate. Yes, it was simple and intimate but luxury could be felt from the tiniest details down to the macro ones. From the fresh flowers to the full-course plated service menu and all the other details related to the wedding. Sage splurged “heavily” this time.

The wedding ceremony will be officiated by Mr. Park, their professor in college and is currently the dean of the fine arts department in their previous university. He was the first person who realized that Sage felt something beyond friendship with Alex even before Sage realized it himself.

As they have only invited the people they know personally, receiving their guests never felt tiring. They considered this a reunion after a very long time because of the fame Alex and Sage received which hindered them from seeing them. Everybody they invited were genuinely happy for the two of them. Their friends in college, their close relatives and a few people from the industry who were there even before they became big.

Upon his arrival, Mr. Park approached Sage and extended his hand for a handshake. “Sage, finally! This is it! All the rescheduled meetings in the past for Alex paid off!” He chuckled. Sage’s face flushed at his reminder. He smiled shyly and simply replied. “Thank you sir for all the help back then and now this.”

“Anytime Sage, anytime. Be a good husband, alright?” Mr. Park then tapped his shoulder as he went inside.

He was still looking at the back of Mr. Park when he heard a high-pitch voice behind him said, "Hi, handsome!"

When he turned around, it revealed the one and only Paris Gray. They've exchange pleasantaries then she asked, "Where's Alex? I wanna see her, the woman who holds your whole being."

"She's inside the bride's room. Go on, greet... hey!" He wasn't able to finish his sentence as Paris already started walking towards Alex's room. Sage sprinted towards Paris and when he caught her, "Paris, behave your loose mouth, okay?"

"Oh... Are you scared that I might say something inappropriate that Alex would dissed this wedding?" Paris chuckled at his reaction. He was obviously, still scared to lose her. "Don't worry. I got this. Calm down, okay?" She tapped his shoulders then went back to his original position.

The ceremony will start in five minutes. His parents already went inside and Sage positioned himself at the rear part of the hall close to the door. He was nervous and he couldn’t stop himself from shivering. His hands were starting to get clammy. He continued to release a series of deep sighs in the effort of releasing his anxiety.

He then heard Mr. Park calling him to enter.

“Relax Sage, no need to be nervous.” He convinced himself as he fixed his blazer then made his first step walking down the aisle.

i’m sorry you’re feeling down, anon. it is a pretty rough time for dean stans right now. and, well, it’s aways been rough for laurel stans. but yes, i always have headcanons for mary bea and her adoring fans parents!

- so, as mentioned in the fic, dean was a stay at home dad for the first three years of mary’s life. they spent all day every day together. if you ask her who her best friend is, she’ll say, always, “daddy!” that’s why they were both so lost when he eventually had to work and she had to go to preschool. they had never been away from each other for that long. for a lot of things, he is the first one she runs to. he is her default setting and she is his. mary definitely skews towards the “daddy’s girl” side of things. however, with that said…

- laurel was mary’s hero before she was anyone else’s. not because she’s the black canary but because she is her mom. mary worships her mother. anything laurel does, mary wants to do too. if laurel is out in the backyard gardening, mary wants to help. if laurel is outside doing yoga in the sunshine on sunday mornings, mary drags out another yoga mat and tries to do the downward dog. mary would follow her mom anywhere. black canary may belong to star city, but everything laurel lance does is for mary.

- dean and laurel are 99.9% sure that mary was conceived in the hallway between the living room and the bedroom of her old apartment. it’s not something either of them obsess over because why would they but at the same time he does find it amusing that out of all of the times they had sex, the one time they made a baby was “the time we fucked in the hall ‘cause we couldn’t make it to the bedroom. course that’d be the time.” and by amusing, i mean he has had literal full body laughing fits about it. laurel just does not get what’s so funny about it???? he does, however, complain about the song that was playing (bittersweet symphony, one of laurel’s favourites) because “ugh that song’s fuckin’ obnoxious.” and then laurel takes offense to that because “honestly how dare you speak ill of one of the greatest hits of our generation.’’

Anyway, the aspect that I've been wanting to see more of at this point in the run is his detective ability, and starting with this preview of Batman #66, it looks like we're getting an interesting take on it. Batman is trapped in his head reliving horrible memories and experiences and he can't figure his way out. So it looks like in the preview, he creates a psychic The Question to help him break free.
