I know I uploaded these already, but I'm posting them again for bjd polyamory day! Kind of hard to take new pictures when their partners live halfway across the country. Jaku and kei are... sort of married to each other (it's complicated. It's not a legal marriage, but they treat it like it is) but if they are both comfortable with someone and love them, they can be open as well. It just takes a loooot of warming up for jaku. But jaku, kei, and seiji is a beloved ot3 ♡ As for miles, well, if you date miles you are dating at least 3 other people at the same time whether you want to or not. Luckily, hokuro is very accepting of miles, Dia, club, and Hart, and they all care very much for her. As for spade... well, that remains to be seen. Seiji and hokuro belong to @moley-face

Oh shit what? I'm participating in a thing? :O! Well today is gay day for the bjdrainbow thingy! So here is Sebastian and Avian. Their romance is more than just a little tragic. To give just a brief overview, they were both imprisoned as children by a group of scientists who culled Polaris of select (poor) families first born children. They were told never to speak of those children again and they would be able to keep their lives. Sebastian and Avian were kept in holding cells across from one another and soon created a friendship through their own kind of sign language and messages written in breath fogged glass. They both eventually found a way to escape the labs but Avian fell and hit his head causing him to fall unconscious. Sebastian, being wounded from his most recent "discipline" was unable to carry him to safety so opted to hide his body and return for him once he found help. However, once he came back Avian was no where to be found. Sebastian couldn't forgive himself for costing Avian not only his freedom but now his life. It was something hard to cope with and he soothed his guilt with alcohol and a slew of many other substances. Until much later down the line by a stroke of luck, he was reunited with Avian...but all of Avian's memories had been erased. His skin was covered in an eerie blue glow and one of his eyes covered by a white cloth eye patch. Sebastian was of course happy to see him alive but was absolutely devastated to know that he has no recollection of who he was. So now at this point in the story, they are working together to slowly recover Avian's lost memories. (Did I say brief? Oops.) So there you have it! My contribution! ❤️💛💚💙💜

I’m late for Rainbow BJD Day!  I had the stomach flue and it could not be helped.  Still, two of my very favorites come up for Gender Queer day so, better late than not at all!

Denna [Nobility Doll, Raon], was a bit of a surprise.  I thought she was a woman when I was waiting for her.  (Well, I knew she had a male body, but that doesn’t matter.)  When she showed up, though, and I started fleshing out her character, I realized that she is very aware of, and at peace with, her masculine aspects.  She typically presents female, but not always.

Sloan [Little Rebel, Seven] I knew was going to be a basket of WTF from the moment I ordered him.  He inherited one of my personal tenants, “Gender is a Theme park and I have season tickets.”  He presents male, but he’s not terribly fussed over pronouns and refuses to be headed into anything resembling a gender roll.

In the Overdeveloped Backstory(tm) that I have for The Horde, the two are close friends and roommates.  They even have a boyfriend in common, though there is nothing sexual between them directly.

Next up for Rainbow Day, Remy! He has had some rough times in his life, but he’s going better now. And most importantly of all, he’s getting new hands! I bought him some jointed hands to hopefully replace his volks hands, I’m just hoping that fit they properly

DOA ANNIVERSARY “STUCK ON LUCK” CONTEST ENTRY

This year when I saw the theme for DOA’s Anniversary photo contest, I knew exactly the doll I needed to feature: Felix. The rules asked contestants to make a comic book / graphic novel (limited to 12 pages) depicting either good luck, bad luck, or luck doesn’t exist. I chose bad luck that... well, evolves. In canon, Felix is my unluckiest OC and also happens to be a major comic book fan. He was the natural choice!

I ended up winning “Best Technical” and my heart is overjoyed! As excited as I am to win a prize, what makes me even happier is learning people enjoyed the comic because it is near and dear to my heart. Diversity in media is a topic I’m EXTREMELY passionate about, and comics (be it doll-themed or otherwise) is no exception! 🏳️‍🌈 Plus Felix and Christian are just so damn cute together.

I used a combination of Photoshop, BeFunky, Pixlr, Comic Strip Pro, and Ultimate Photo Blender because I really wanted to replicate a "true" comic style. All doll photos were taken using my MotoG 4.

I also incorporated a few images from the Creative Commons database that allowed for free-for-private-and-commercial use and could be modified, adapted, etc.(the Stan Lee photo in Felix's room, as well as the ladder and black kittens). Other props (nightstand, beanbag chair, bed sheets, globe, school supplies, lava lamp, 1/4 scale HUSH graphic novel replica, etc.) and backdrops were all made by me then digitally enhanced. I made the 1/4 scale lockers specifically for this contest and lemme tell you they are SO COOL. I’ll feature them in another photo shoot later.

Also, I'd like to note that I designed LUCK's cover as a parody of the HUSH: Volume One graphic novel by DC Comics. Felix is more of a Marvel guy, so he’s reading Black Cat (of course!!!) in several pages since the lovely Felicia Hardy is his all-time favorite comic character.

Here is my post for bjd rainbow day! Most of my characters are pan/bi. Sawyer arrived just in time for gay day. 👌 he has no face yet and the wig he has on is nowhere close to his actual hair, but it's better than him being bald in the meantime. He is unapologetically gay, really, and knows he can beat the shit out of anyone who has an issue with it. My other gay character is Seth, unfortunately he is out in face up limbo right now. XD

Time for the next Rainbow of Orientation Day. This time: Transdolls. Elay is the one and only I can feature here but that does make her even more special. She’s one of my favorite doll Ladies here (tbh Loreley and her fight for the “first” place :’D)
