I have!! finished!! typing!!! everything in that first notebook!! for Medka and Actalus!!

I am kind of amazed by how long even just that ended up being. And then there's the whole second notebook! how exciting!

And I've also today reached a big Milestone in Vacalmon and the Magpie King's story!! which took way longer than I expected. But!! it means!! they are going to soon start really interacting!! for more than a paragraph at a time!!

and that only took me 79pages in an A5 notebook looool

My second time getting a secondhand doll 😊

This is Bennett! He’s a Dollzone Silvia that I bought secondhand, and he’s so cute! I saw he was for sale, and as the fullset, and I just had to bring this cutie home. I gave his wig a comb and gave him a pair of glasses that I had.

I already had the idea for his character, a librarian of a magical library that can appear in different places. Though, Bennett isn’t usually running the place. Usually, he’s out finding new books to add to the library. He’s still pretty new to be the librarian and also it being a traveling library. Originally, it was in one place, but when it was burned down, the old librarian chose him to be the new librarian and to continue it the way that it is now.

Colin, my Charm Doll Renard had a personality but not a story, and with this boy, I now see that he works in the library, usually one of the ones running the place. He’s friends with Bennett. He goes out with Bennett sometimes and takes pictures of whatever cute things they run into. 😊

today i'm welcoming home my first BJD, "lieselotte!" i would like to occasionally post more doll content (especially lolita related) on my blog from now on.. so you may be seeing her often!! ♡

lolita collaborations sparked my interest in ball jointed dolls quite a while ago, but i've only recently started researching them and have come to love all of the similarities these hobbies share. i was very lucky to be able to find my discontinued dream doll completely unopened from a secondhand sale despite this specific model being made and distributed almost 15 years ago. it gives the same feeling as a very well preserved time capsule of sorts.

to give more information on her--she is a 2010 limited release model volks super dollfie x baby, the stars shine bright collaboration from the storyline "harajuku memories"

she is absolutely everything i wanted in a doll and a perfect fit for me as a lolita and avid fan of btssb. i prefer the older faceups of her rather than the more modern ones. i intend on matching coords with her-- so far, i own the same gingham rose OP, her default dress, and the honey cross shoes and socks.. though i want to hunt down the same christina hat she wears. i plan to take her outside with me once the weather gets a bit nicer, as her storyline mentions that being her wish!

i'm quite new to the hobby and still have a lot to learn, so feel free to share any resources or tips ^_^

18. What’s your doll-related pet peeve?

Yucking other people's yum. Specifically modern doll collectors who harp on about antique dolls being ~*creepy*~ as if they were some yahoo from outside the community. Come on, guys- they think ALL of our dolls are creepy! We have to stick together!

(In terms of dolls themselves, it's everything playline- and even most collector dolls -being made of plastic nowadays. Sure, I have some resin BJDs and plastic vintage Barbies, and I grew up with plastic dolls, but our kids and collectors deserve something that isn't destroying the planet!)

Personal Splatbands Merch Tour (Part.2)

Finally my Disspair keychain came ^~^) I wanted to update on my merch since the last time cus I got a few things out, besides the obvious merch I get from fanzines I also try to make my own

This is my disspair locker, with obviously a tiny bass an a shirt with skeleton pattern and a disspair pin from a zine (its getting a bit rusty) I wanna start a warabi bjd doll with the help of a mutual (the one that got the mizole keychain). I've seen other dolls like the Noiji or one stuffed toy of Taichi, that I wanted to make something similar perhaps not that good but at least something honest and personal, we dont get many true solatbands fans out here

I also got other posters around my room like this one from Redbubble that got taken downa few years ago, it's been with me for 4 years,,, Along side Wet floor and HTE posters of the same size. The thing next to it its my whiteboard, that doodle also has 2 years I never erased it xd

One of the projects we also made on class last year was about a fine art paper bundle with different types of paper, my prints wasn't splatband related but I got the chance to put extra prints on the spare paper of the A3, I believe this one is rhe Hahnemühle photo glossy paper, at that time I ended a piece of Drums vs Keyboard vs Guitar splatfest with HTE

As for the next up coming project I was invited to the Splatband zine and I'll try my best on it I'm quite excited it's gonna be my first time working on a phisical zine AND as a spot artist (double win???)
